Description

Specialties

We offer singing lessons, voice lessons, vocal coaching, songwriting workshops, group classes, summer camps, and performance showcases in our state of the art teaching studios in our two San Francisco locations, Noe Valley & Nob Hill.

Through performance showcases, songwriting workshops, group classes, professional recording opportunities and more, all of our students have the opportunity to develop their own voice and become the musician they want to be.

Our one-on-one teaching method is about meeting students at their level, designing specific exercises and practices to work towards each students’ individual goals.

We offer a free intro voice lesson, try us out!

History

Established in 2010.

Whitney Nichole is incredibly passionate about sharing her love of songwriting, singing and performing with others, and she opened Songbird Studios in 2010 to share the magic of expressing and creating music with others.

What began as a small, one person operation — soon grew (and continues to grow!) into a community of vocal coaches, singers, songwriters and artists all supporting one another. We currently have 5 unique and talented vocal coaches on staff.

Meet the Business Owner

Whitney N.

Business Owner

Whitney Nichole is not your average music teacher. Her fresh approach to contemporary singing is influenced by her real world experience as a professional singer-songwriter, recording artist and touring performer.

Singing and performing her entire life, Whitney Nichole has played live shows throughout the New York City, Los Angeles, Pacific Northwest and San Francisco areas. Prior to that, she attended Yale University, where she was a member of two premier a cappella groups, releasing 3 albums between them. While at Yale, Whitney toured extensively, performing in England, Spain, Ireland, Japan and throughout the United States. After graduating in 2005, Whitney took interest in sharing her experience & love of music with others — and began training to teach voice.

She is now living, teaching, writing, recording and performing around the Bay Area to promote her recently released album, ‘100 Strong’.
