Great service and always with a smile! I recently became a customer and so happy I decided to check them out. They were able to remove a weird and difficult stain from a sweater and a shirt, and I couldn’t be happier about it. Their pricing is also good compared to other places in downtown.

I’ve been a satisfied customer of Soma Cleaners since I moved into the neighborhood in 2008. I’m in there once a week and have been pleased with the laundry and dry cleaning service. Nothing has ever been lost or damaged. The alterations service is also a nice feature. Very pleased overall.

I was very pleased with the service here when I found myself pinched for time. My wife and I were picking up a dress she was to wear to a friend’s wedding, and even though they experienced a delay due to the intricate design, they rushed and were hounding the delivery guy to get his act together and drop off the dress ASAP. 20 minutes later the dress was in my hand clean and ready to go :)

I don’t live in the city, but I work around the corner. The hours, quality, and convenience of Soma Cleaners is the reason why I bring dry cleaning here when I’m in a pinch. I invest in the clothes that I buy and have had learned the hard way what happens when trying to save a few bucks on dry cleaning. The place near my home is great, but sometimes I just can’t wait until the weekend for pickup/​dropoff bc of my work schedule. Thank you Soma Cleaners 1 for keeping my clothes clean and beautiful!

I have been going to SoMa Cleaners now for more than 10 years! Back when they had a shop on Mission Street and now at their Spear Street location. I am their most loyal customer and with good reason. The ladies that work there are attentive and professional. They will give you the best advice when it comes to removing stubborn stains or how best to clean delicate shirts and blouses. Please give SoMa Cleaners a try. Your old clothes will look new again and your new clothes will last longer.

I brought eight curtains here to be hemmed. Originally, I was quoted a price of $ 35/​curtain. That seemed high to me, so I told them I’d go elsewhere. The next day when picking them up, they said they could lower the price to $ 25/​curtain and include. 15% discount for a review. This still felt high, but I wanted to get this knocked out since I needed them quickly. Turnaround time was a few days.

Friendly establishment and decently priced services given the area. Brought a dress in that needed to be fixed asap due to split zipper. Rush fee was minimal. Dress looks good as new. Would definitely recommend.

When it comes to dry cleaners, its hard to differentiate on quality of the work. A dry clean is a dry clean, and there isn’t much more to it. As a result, I judge cleaners on two things: price and service. The place isn’t particularly cheap, so I was hoping for some good service.
I asked her when I could come pick it up; she said she would be here at 6:30 am, even though the signs say they open at 7. Because I have to commute to work in the mornings, I’m usually on a tight schedule. So taking her word for it and showing up at 6:30, I was rather disappointed when I waited in the cold for 15 minutes. Not only that, but when I returned at 7:05 to check up, there was still no response at the door. I understand that I showed up before the sign says their open, but don’t promise things you can’t deliver on.
