Dr S. has been quite good and comes from a reference via a fantastic dental specialist. My most recent visit I had some issue related to a follow up which required some brief polishing and other X-​rays which she didn’t charge for. I have been here a few times for a post procedure and cleaning and the process of implementing it was great.

I’ve had a lot of problems with my teeth recently and I am lucky to have find Dr. Skoulas from Unilocal.She’s nice, patient and professional. The office is very pleasant to be in. And Anton at the front desk is super awesome too!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 5 years and finally decided to get much needed work done. My boss recommended Dr. Skoulas and I haven’t been disappointed. Everyone is super nice and even though I respect a lot of years of experience I also really appreciate how young everyone is there.
The office looks really cool with the brick and they have a lot of brand new equipment. They also have this really cool goggle tv thing. It has Amazon prime and Netflix and a few other things and you can watch them while getting work done. When you are getting a lot done this is so nice so you don’t have to hear the drill and all the other noises.
All in all she’s really nice and does a great job and I’m really glad I chose this office. The front desk guy and assistant are really great people too. I get uncomfortable with needles but even with the extensive amount of work I have to get done I’ve felt really comfortable and am at work within 15 minutes of getting my teeth drilled.

What I appreciate most about Dr. Skoulas and her assistants is their empathetic communication. Whether it’s before a cleaning, during a procedure or about paperwork/​insurance, I feel respected, clear on what’s happening /​what to expect, and taken care of. I have not had difficulty making appointments or had to wait a long time for my appointment to start, and I like that I get reminders ahead of time via text and can confirm appointments through text. I’ve recommend Dr. Skoulas to friends in the area and will continue to do so.

One word describes Dr. Skoulas and her office: hip! It looks like a converted loft with all the exposed brick, and there is tons of great art to look at. She is kind, gentle and explains what she is doing every step of the way.
My only nit was that I thought I was getting a checkup and cleaning for my first appointment. However, the first appointment only covered the checkup and I had to schedule another appointment afterwards for the cleaning. None of it cost me anything due to insurance, so it ended up being fine.

Really positive and professional experience! It’s really a blessing to have a dentist you can trust in such a convenient location. The offices are also beautiful and very relaxing.

I had a bad experience here. Everyone seems nice but I had two experience that made me unsure about this dentist. I am very disappointed.
1. They forgot to cancel cleaning although I requested to cancel it before the appointment.
2. They come up with additional charge after the visit… which I didn’t see in the contract.
On my fist visit, I did X-​ray and the doc told me I have cavity and I have to come back. So she set an appointment for cleaning and fixing the cavity. That day I was told that there is no cost. So I didn’t pay and went home.
Before my second appointment I contacted the doc and canceled my cleaning. However, the day of my second appointment, she worked on my cavity and she also cleaned my teeth, which I canceled before the appointment… When I went to the reception I was told that I have to pay $ 80 for my first appointment because my insurance didn’t cover. So all of a sudden I had to pay additional $ 80 that I didn’t see in the contract…

Out of some mix of fear, laziness and stupidity I had managed to avoid the dentist for years. Luckily after such a lengthy hiatus, I ended up at Dr. Skoulas’ office. Her office is both convenient and beautiful, her staff is friendly and she is delightful. See you in 6 months Dr. Skoulas =)

I went to dr. Skoulas for a cleaning and was extremely impressed by how caring, friendly and genuine the entire team was– I never felt like I was being «talked down to» or «sold anything» and the entire procedure was super easy and gentle. Dr. Skoulas is easy to talk to and I look forward to my next visit (and who can say that about their dentist?!)

I went to see Dr. Skoulas for an emergency dental appointment while I was in town on business. She was super accommodating to my situation and took wonderful care of me. I honestly don’t know what I would have done if Dr. Skoulas did not help me that night. Such a beautiful location and high quality service. I’d highly recommend her!

This dental practice is one of the most beautiful dental office I’ve ever visited. It was open, airy, got tons of light, had exposed brick, and gallery art through out.
The staff including the dental hygienist and Dr. Skoulas were all polite, articulate, and accommodating. I was surprised how responsive the office was via email. It was easy for me to book my appointment and ask questions via email before coming in.
The office is where Montgomery just starts to turn onto Columbus so it’s a 10 minute walk from my office downtown. Easy to get to.
I’ve told my friends and family (brother, cousin) in SF about the practice because I had a really great experience.

My boyfriend has visited Dr. Skoulas on two occasions now and he’s coming back shortly for a third appointment, and all I can say is wow!
She is by far the best dentist he has ever had. He has anxiety when it comes to the dentist, and as a result it had been a while since his last appointment. As a new patient, Dr. Skoulas was happy to see him for a consultation and accept him as a new patient. She is very gentle when it comes to deep cleanings and filling cavities. She makes him feel very comfortable and he trusts her fully with his teeth. She also has great bedside manner and is genuinely concerned with the comfort of her patients. When he experienced a little bit of pain during a procedure she made sure to give him a bit more medicine to assure that he was completely comfortable. As an added bonus you can watch Netflix while she is working on your teeth! The perfect distraction for someone who has anxiety about the dentist. In an hour and a half she had completed an entire deep cleaning, and he had completed an entire movie! A win-​win! Overall I would definitely recommend Dr. Skoulas to anyone who is looking for a professional yet friendly and gentle dentist who genuinely cares about your health and comfort.

After having pretty terrible experiences with an old family dentist as a child, I’ve been very particular about my dentist. Dr. Skoulas is fantastic, with a beautiful, updated office in a great location. Her office is very responsive and she is very clear and communicative about your options. I would recommend her to anyone.

Wow! Dr. Skoulas’s office sets the bar high for Dental Offices. From the moment you first walk through that door, you’ll notice that you’re not in just any dental office anymore. The architecture, modern décor, open red brick wall and beautiful artwork provides a warm and welcoming environment, making her office feel really cozy.
Most importantly, Dr. Skoulas is smart, approachable and genuinely cares. I can tell that she is very passionate about her work and is patient. She always answers all my questions thoroughly and always carries a big smile on her face!

I mean, how often can you leave the dentist saying that you got your teeth fixed AND caught up on Netflix all at the same appt!

I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Skoulas for the first time at the annual meeting for the American Dental Association! Meeting her at that meeting tells me something important — she’s passionate about dentistry. It’s not just a job or a way to make ends meet. She’s in the profession for the right reasons.
I was able to visit Jackson Square Dentistry during my brief visit to SF and I loved what I experienced. The office was super conveniently located, easy to find, and very modern. Dr. Skoulas, her dental team, the décor, and the overall ambience of the office was VERY comforting (and this is important for those who don’t love their dental visits! — which is more than likely you. just saying)!

As someone who has never been a big fan of the dentist, I was blown away when I visited Dr. Skoulas. I have been in twice, once for a checkup and once for a filling. Both times I was treated to exceptionally good service by both her and her staff. They took their time to explain options to me around types of fillings, and answered all of my questions to help me come to a decision.
The dentistry is in a beautiful location in downtown SF, but even more stunning is the actual facility inside. Her dentistry is in a beautiful building, with a really modern take on what a dentist’s office can look like. The inside has exposed brickwork with tons of amazing artwork hanging down, and (while I am no expert) what looks like top of the line equipment.
They also have an awesome Roku device to wear. During my fillings I was able to catch up on some Netflix! It made getting work done a breeze. Dr. Skoulas is not only an amazing dentist, but she has made going to the dentist enjoyable!
PS: If you follow Washington St a block down there is a small little place that has 5 $ parking all day. I first went to park at a meter and was going to be charged 7 $ for a max of 2hrs.

I’m one of the unlucky SoCal people who can’t go to Dr. Skoulas now that she’s in San Francisco. Should I visit NorCal and in need of dental care I won’t go anywhere else. Usually dental offices are dark, corny, or bland. Her office: wow!

Dr. Skoulas was great… great facilities that were clean and very comfortable. As a designer, I really appreciated the details and architecture of the space. The red bricks added a warmth to the environment far better than the typical stark white dental offices we are all so used to. The staff was very attentive and always smiling. The customer service experience was second to none which was only topped by Dr. Skoulas’s fantastic skill as a dentist. I received a porcelain crown which looks incredible and feels great! She was great at explaining the process and all the steps she would be going through as I was asking several questions about the procedure.
I definitely recommend you check out her services!

Dr. Skoulas is an amazing dentist. From her front office staff to her clinical assistants, everyone is so welcoming and makes you feel comfortable from the minute you set foot in her office. Speaking of which, the office feels more like an art studio than a sterile dental facility, and having Surface tablets handy is a nice touch when you’re done looking at the art!
As a physician myself, I appreciate how well the clinic flows, without getting behind and causing patients to wait excessively. Dr. Skoulas herself has a calming demeanor and easily puts my nerves at ease. I also appreciate her honesty regarding whether a procedure is truly necessary or not. I have recommended Dr. Skoulas to my friends and family, who have also had great experiences!
