Meet the Business Owner

Christian R.

Business Owner

I started at Simple Floors in 2005 with no industry experience, other than a short stint, removing carpets for a carpet installation company.

During the interview, I answered every question the same.

«Can you drive a fork lift?», «Have you worked as a warehouse worker?» and many others…

— «No, But I’ll learn»

My first job here was sweeping the warehouse, loading up clients, using a pallet jack to move pallets around the showroom. With growth, came more responsibility. We moved the warehouse out of the small space that made out showroom, warehouse. left the showroom there, and opened a separate warehouse. Eventually moving to Oakland to a space about 40k sf.

Thats when I decided, with my little experience I couldn’t keep it going.

I moved to sales in SJ. Months later, Store Manager. By the end of the following year I was the NW US Regional Manager.

My last position with corporate simple floors, National Sales Manager.

Married with 3 kids, 16yrs, 7yrs and 3yrs and a pup
