Sharla did an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding.
First off, Sharla is incredibly responsive. She got back to all emails quickly and we were able to set up a phone consultation and then an in person meeting shortly after making contact.
We were nervous about the wedding flowers. The venue mentioned that bright flowers like yellow and orange tended to work best. I was concerned my flowers would look like a circus. We took our concerns to Sharla who had many great suggestions on how to blend in some wines and use hues of yellow and orange that were exquisite. We trusted her on the colors without going into too much detail on the exact flowers. When we got to the venue, we were in awe. The flowers were gorgeous!
We also had Sharla do a chuppah. The cloth was beautiful as were the flowers.
Another nice surprise was the size of the flowers. They were substantial.
Lastly, Sharla’s staff was great. They constructed the chuppah and took it down .

Sharla helped make my event everything I wanted and more! She goes above and beyond what is expected. She worked with my budget and created the most beautiful centerpieces for our holiday party. Sharla is one of the rare people who «just get it»! We wanted… color! Fun! Interesting linens! Informal flowers! And there, on our wedding day, she delivered as if she plucked the images straight from my head. She is personable, easy to work with and has impeccable taste. What a combination! You cannot go wrong with Sharla!

Sharla provided the vision, gorgeous floral arrangements and table décor for our April-​2014 wedding reception at Presidio Social Club of San Francisco. We were pleased with her artistic style and professionalism, a combination we didn’t find in so many other florists. She is intimately familiar with the Presidio Social Club, as well as many other San Francisco venues, and she worked so seamlessly with the PSC staff and utilized the space to its fullest. We couldn’t be happier with the results!!!

Sharla Flock was an absolute pleasure to work with! We hit it off right away. I always looked forward to my phone calls with her because she was able to put me at ease about anything I was stressed about and she always had great suggestions and creative ideas about the look and feel of the wedding. Not only did she handle all of our florals, but she was willing to provide input on our linen selection and what the tables should look like overall. I had complete trust in Shara; and rightfully so… our wedding flowers were stunning. They were more beautiful than I even imagined. Our wedding flowers were AMAZING! Sharla does truly stunningly beautiful work. I loved how she listened to our ideas and suggested smart and creative (and pretty!) ways to bring them to life.
She has a helpful survey to get to know your preferences and then, after discussing your views, she builds a comprehensive and thoughtful proposal suggesting how it can come to life. She can also supply candles and certain other decorations.
Sharla was the first florist we met with (though not the first we contacted) and we meant to shop around… but after the first meeting we really didn’t see the point. We believed in her ideas, and they were ultimately even more stunning than we expected. We are immensely grateful we picked Sharla.

Sharla is SIMPLY THE BEST!!! There is no two ways about it!!! She did the floral design for my wedding, and I could not have been happier. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She did a great job of focusing my ideas and was so creative! She is extremely talented and at the same time just so so much fun to be around. I received so many compliments on her work it was ridiculous! I have friends who took photos of her pieces to set as the wallpaper on their computer screens because they loved them so much! Her pricing is quite competitive, and you more than get what you pay for!!! When planning a wedding you have enough to stress about, but you are in fantastic hands with Sharla!!!

Sharla prepared the arrangements for my wedding on 12÷16÷12. Her work is beautiful – simple and elegant and perfect for the wedding location and our attire. Most of all, my wife and I are grateful because Sharla was able to help us on short notice.

In a word, Sharla is amazing. From the very start she knew exactly what I wanted. We had such a fun first consult; she listened to my ideas, offered inspired suggestions, and I felt completely confident that she would do an incredible job on the flowers for my wedding. She did. She came up to the bridal suite herself and delivered STUNNING bouquets for me and my bridesmaids as well as a big hug. The altar arrangement was a work of art, subtle and exquisitely beautiful. Then there were all the table arrangements — we had talked about favorite flowers of mine and the texture and feel I was looking for, and Sharla took those ideas and created some absolutely beautiful arrangements. Everyone commented on the flowers which were just seriously pretty. AND, they were featured in
— a fun bonus for me!

Sharla is the best. Not only were our wedding flowers perfect and as beautiful as it gets, but she was amazing to work with. From our first meeting I felt at ease because she «got me». She instantly could pick up my style and from there on out I was so comfortable that she would make our wedding flowers exactly what I had dreamed. L-​u-​v Sharla! You couldn’t ask for a better florist or person to work with. She did all the florals for our wedding at the Solage in Calistoga. I had some general ideas on what I wanted but she was able to get creative and make those ideas a beautiful reality while working within our budget. She was super accessible via phone and email and flexible as ‘finicky bride syndrome’ set in:) I talked with 5 other florists and knew the moment I met with her she was the bees knees!

WOW!!! I have to be honest, in planning a wedding flowers were the least of my worries. My mother in law and I met with Sharla a While back to discuss flowers and linens for my wedding. I thought she was awesome because my family had almost talked me into using pink or something girly for the linens. I’ve always been dead set on black and white but they felt because it was a wedding it should be more ‘girly’. Sharla could not have read me better! When I told her about this she said «You know, when I look at you I don’t see pink». She suggested a nice pewter for the table cloths and got my mother in law totally on board.
We discussed flowers, I knew I didn’t want red and i had seen some dark colored arrangements online that I liked. We decided on eggplant calla lillies with little white flowers to accent it and feathers mixed in. I had a feeling it would all be pretty cool but did not know what to expect.
What I got was the most beautiful, amazing, creative, edgy, unique bouquet I have ever seen. I almost tear up just thinking of how amazing it was. My bridesmaids had similar arrangements but a bit lighter to accent their black dresses. Even my Husband (still so fun to say haha) thought his boutonnière was really cool! Says a lot when a guy notices how amazing the flowers are.
Every one at my wedding was completely FREAKING out over how cool my bouquet was… even my dad was impressed (trust me that is a feat!).
Today at the day after out of towner brunch people were still bringing it up and wanting to see it again.
Thank you so much Sharla for taking a small vision and turning it into a work of art beyond my wildest dreams!!!
My only regret is that when she delivered the flowers I was hiding in the back of the limo waiting for the ceremony to start in total wedding freak out mode and I did not express to her what an amazing artist she is and how blessed I was to have her beautiful work of art in my hands walking down the aisle.

Definitely agree with other reviewers’ comments on Sharla’s responsiveness. Of all the floral designers we met, she was always the fastest to respond. Although we contacted her right before a busy weekend, she still managed to draft a preliminary proposal for us in less than 48hours. How’s that for efficiency?
We didn’t end up going with Sharla because her style wasn’t exactly what we were looking for. Otherwise I would have definitely trusted her to do an excellent job.

I wish that I could give her 10 stars.
Sharla is truly amazing! She is an real artist! I don’t know where did she find those beautiful but rare flowers and leaves. Some of them I don’t even remember that I had ever seen them or heard of them before.
My wedding was in October, so I asked her to add some fruits which will be available in season. She put these black mission figs and seedless grapes in the center pieces (Purple is the theme color for my wedding). They are not only good-​looking but also delicious, every single one was ripe and sweet! My guests really enjoy them. Thanks, Sharla! You made my wedding so «Yummy»!
For the ceremony, we love all of her arrangements. My husband was impressed by how beautiful and tasteful the altar arrangements are that he kept on asking me to make sure that the photographer get enough photos of them. Our guests seemed also enjoy the flowers that they brought pew markers with them after the ceremony, so we don’t even have to clean them up. I think Sharla also sprayed a special perfume on the flowers (smells like wood and grass), which is quite refreshing.
I love those little details she added. If you are planning a wedding or an event, you should definitely consider her.

Sharla Flock Designs did the floral and ambiance for our March 7^th wedding and reception and I could not have been more thrilled with the quality of their service and the results. My floral budget was not huge but I knew I wanted to unique arrangements of exceptional quality. After many frustrating conversations with other floral designers, I took an initial meeting with Sharla to discuss my wedding based on her positive Unilocal reviews. Once I viewed her portfolio of truly beautiful and creative work, where she incorporated elements such heirloom jewelry and feathers, I became very excited about the possibilities we might come up with together.
She was absolutely wonderful to brainstorm with. She keyed in on my own personal aesthetic pretty quickly and complimented it with great ideas of her own. I had looked at a lot of floral and I knew, for my wedding, I did not want the typical wedding look. Sharla was totally on board. Through the whole process she treated me as if I was her most important client. She was very responsive to my questions and worked seamlessly with our caterer, Global Gourmet. She listened carefully to what I was hoping for and delivered perfectly on the day of my wedding.
Sharla and her team were there early to set up, giving my photographer plenty of time to take photos of the flowers before the ceremony. The bouquets were stunning– exactly what I’d asked for and then some — as were all the floral throughout the ceremony/​reception site. On top of it all, Sharla was amazingly friendly and painless to work with, and we were so happy with how it all turned out. I highly recommend Sharla if you need flowers for an event!

It’s funny, i first learned about Sharla Flock floral designs because my honey brought home a postcard with her ad on it home from starbucks. This was Honey’s way of helping with wedding planning.
But boy oy boy! After crosschecking the Unilocal reviews and reviewing Sharla’s website, I met with her and had a great conversation/​consultation on what I would need for my wedding and her survey for planning wedding flowers was fabulous for putting clarity and precision to what would be needed for my big day.
She was professional and gracious with delivering a gorgeous set of flowers for the bouquets, bouttineers, and corsages (pew decorations also) that totally vibed with our conversation on what I had envisioned for my wedding day. The colors and quality of the flowers were outstanding and they were robust and just, well, incredibly lovely.
