Sam is the best. I can’t say one bad thing about him and his company. My dog Gracie loves him as well. And funny story — he was actually my Lyft driver one day and that that is how we met. It was fate! I have never used a dog walker because my dog is fine staying home when I am at work but once my roomie hired him I had to do it as well so my dog wouldn’t get jealous. He comes everyday for our dogs and is super professional and such a sweetie with the dogs. He takes them to different spots all the time like Fort Mason or Golden Gate park and they are gone for usually 1 – 2 hours. I would definitely recommend him if you are thinking of getting a dog walker or need extra help during the week! Even when I am in a pickle I have contacted him for random walks and if he is around he can help. Oh and my favorite part — he sends photos of your pooch from their walks. It is so fun when I am at work and get photos of my baby at doggy day care! LOL. Thanks Sam!

Sam is truly one of the best! After a weary experience with a previous dog walking co. I was hesitant to try another. My worries and reservations were completely demolished after my pup’s first day. My dachshund, Leeroy arrived back in a nirvana state. Tail wagging, bright eyed and best of all tuckered out.
Leeroy is always excited and happy to see Sam, which is always a good sign.
Additionally, SF Yappie Hour is always accommodating, flexible and extremely reliable. If you do decide to have your pup join the SF Yappy Hour pack be ready for some adorable pictures and video footage (Sam sends pictures/​videos while on walks).
Again, one of the best!

Sam is awesome. He helped me out when I only gave him a week’s notice by walking my dogs midday all week. He met me beforehand to get to know my dogs better and asked questions to make sure he knew their temperaments. I even got a pic emailed to me of my dogs at the park, which is always nice and puts a dog owner at ease. Sam obviously loves his job and loves dogs and as someone who won’t leave them in the hands of just anyone, I think Sam is great and I trust him with my pups! It’s great to find a trustworthy person in the neighborhood to help out when I can’t be home for the dogs! Thanks Sam!

Yappie hour is great! They were so flexible helping us with a family emergency walking our puppy 3 times a day at the very last minute. Our pup is so excited to go with Sam. He’s clearly cares about the dogs and likes spending time with them.

Sam is a very nice young man, always smiling. Our dog waits by the door even on the days Sam doesn’t work in hopes that he is coming to get him, even on on the days he has already had a lot of walks. Sam goes the extra distance, helping us out with our dog on short notice when he can, and we appreciate him greatly. I highly recommend Yappy Hour, for you and your dog. Cheers.

I can’t say enough about Sam! He is cool and easy going and is a pleasure to do business with. He was so patient with our rescue dog Willy and was integral in making him the very socialized, happy pup he is today. My dog comes home so tired, which I love and I adore the pics and video content that Sam sends. You can smell the sea water on Willy a mile away. We’ve been so happy with the services Sam provides.

Sam has been a superb walker for our chocolate lab mix. We’ve been using his services for the past 3 months now and our dog in fantastic shape. Sam is great with accommodating our schedules, will send us updates (videos and pictures of our pup having a blast at the beach), and will always follow up on texts within a few hours or less. I would highly recommend his services– they are affordable and completely worth it!

Sam is awesome! He is patient with my ever changing work schedule and is always able to make it work. Our dog absolutely loves his walk days, he is taken to great locations around the city and comes back exhausted every time. Sam sends videos and its clear that the dogs are getting excellent care. Sam is fantastic. He’s very accommodating to ensure walks suit my schedule and work plans.
He sends pictures and video of Optimus out on walks/​playing down at the beach every now and then too which is a nice touch.
But importantly i know Optimus (my dog) loves him because i was home one day when he picked him up and Opti kept jumping up on 2 paws frantic with excitement to go out with him. As dog owner thats one of the most re-​assuring signs to see :-)

SAM IS THE BEST! My sweet doodle Finn has been going on adventures with Sam for a few months now and I could not be happier with him. Sam comes to my apartment to pick up Finn while I’m at work and I never have to worry about him remembering to lock up after. I feel very safe having him come in and out. He takes Finn on trips to the beach and different parks for hikes. Finn has A LOT of energy and when I get home from a long day he is worn out and happy! Often times Sam will send me a few pictures of Finn playing in the sunshine. It makes me so happy to know my beloved pet is out having a great time when I can’t be there to take him. I absolutely LOVE Sam and I’m so happy Finn and I found him. Plus he’s a total babe.

Sam has been our dog walker since he started this business. One of our dogs is quite particular and he was patient and kind in earning her trust. He is reasonably priced and he takes them out for great excursions to the park and the beach. The dogs are actually our getting exercise for over an hour. I come home and they are always calm, which means I know they got their exercise. He has always been respectful of our home. He is responsive and flexible. He send us videos of them out and works on training. He also watches them while we are out of town. I would recommend him to anyone.

We LOVE Sam! Sam walks our beloved dog several times a week and watches her when we go out of town. He’s extremely reliable and trustworthy. Our dog gets SO excited to see Sam and comes home exhausted — the ultimate sign that she had a great time! We’ve referred several friends to Sam and they all love him as well! As if that’s not enough, he’s super sweet and has great prices. Sam’s the man!
