I don’t often write reviews but I’ve has so many bad moving experiences that I had to give props to SF Moving for a job well done. The whole experience from scheduling to the day of the move was quick and easy. Tiago and Marchel showed up on time and were very efficient, friendly, and professional. Plus the price is right! I will definitely use them for my next move. Thanks for a great moving experience!

I don’t normally bother reviewing places, but Peter and Tiago moved me out of a storage unit I had been dreading dealing with and did a fantastic job. Not only were they on time and quick, they handled every item as if it were fragile. I have some anxiety with other people moving my belongings (I have some heirloom antiques and pieces of delicate artwork) but as soon as I saw them load the first batch I knew I was in good hands. Surprised at how little time it took start to finish for how painstaking they were. Next time I need help moving, I’m giving these guys a call. Highly recommend SF Moving.

Gave these guys a try when our other movers backed out at the last minute. I was in such a panic. Anton was so helpful arranging our move at the last minute. Marchell, Thiago, and Peter arrived within an hour of booking with Anton. They were very courteous and professional, making sure all of my items were properly wrapped and handled. These guys totally saved the day for me. Thanks for all of your help and will definitely be recommending you to my friends!

I used SF Moving earlier this year for moving some belongings from a storage unit I had to Presidio. The guys were super quick… granted I didn’t have tons and tons of stuff to move, but they handled everything with care and nothing was broken. Marchel (sp) and Thiago (sp) (sorry if I misspelled guys!!!) were friendly and took any worry out of it for me. I got two other quotes and they offered the best prices, which is why I chose them… glad I did.

I’m pretty happy with my moving experience. They showed up on time, moved my boxes and furniture without breaking anything and overall were good people to work with. I’d recommend them and use this company again.

If it’s at all possible to give this company a Zero I would. I am a very understanding person most of the time. Situations happen that are out of your control but you do the best you can with the situation you’re given and try to make it better. I had arranged this move nearly two weeks ago and even have a confirmation. However, Anton called me 40 minutes prior to my schedule move time to tell me the one of their trucks «broke down». Now for most of you going, «awe, that sucks!» I say this to you = that is hauler code for we over scheduled ourselves and we screwed up but don’t want to tell the client. I was at this point very understanding and asked when they would be able to come out. He said the other truck had a few others scheduled and most likely between 5 – 6. Then he said that he would call me to follow up. At 4 I hadn’t heard from him so I called him, only to get the «they’re really busy so now it’s most likely 6:30». Again, understanding of situations thanked him for his time. He AGAIN said he would call to follow up. At 6:40 & 7 I had to call him and left him two messages. It’s now 8:07 and I got a call from him saying the other truck broke down and they won’t be able to help. Are you kidding me?! After waiting around for these people all day, my appointment was 1 – 2 — they now leave me in the lurch to try and find another way to move. This after I had to put down a credit card and guarantee 3 hours of moving services, which my apartment maybe takes 1.5 hours. Now, after all this, I have an apartment full of boxes and a hauler named Joel to assist me in moving. Now people, call Joel — forget this SF moving company because they will just overbook you and leave you high and dry with nothing to say for themselves other than, «I’m not really sure what to do.» Which was Anton’s ending line with me. Call Joel he’ll actually show up, even after an entire day of moving things 510−499−0486 Or just rather, don’t use SF moving, ever.

The two men that helped us were great — very friendly. The company’s billing is very straightforward and they didn’t try to pull a fast one on us with hidden fees. They didn’t seem fully prepared for us though — only one wardrobe box and no bar to hang things. Our clothes were just piled on top of each other in a big heap and left that way during transport and when it arrived at our home. We will probably need to press some clothes now.

The movers showed up 7 hours late. the company told me they couldn’t make the original time less than 24 hours before the move, so there was nothing we could do. It ruined the whole day and messed up all of the other moving pieces one has with a move. No discount, no apologies from the movers. Be patient and be flexible because the time frames with this company do not seem reliable. Happily the move, went well… at least once they got there.

I want to give these guys 5 stars as they really deserve it! I recently moved from Palo Alto to SF (relatively small residential move), but I was worried about everything going smoothly, as we needed to pick up a mattress from another location, and dis-​assemble/​reassemble some furniture. Not only were Anton and Sasha truly professional, but also were really nice guys who eased our nerves. They masterfully assembled some furniture for us, which was greatly appreciated. **I was moving into a 4^th floor apartment in the city with and my bed didn’t fit into the elevator, so Anton and Sasha had to haul it up 4 flights of stairs, and still carried it into the apartment smiling. The overall estimate was fair and for the hourly rate (which is below all the major competitors in the are), I felt I got a great deal. I really appreciate how hard they worked for us and the great attitudes they maintained throughout. It’s a tough job these guys have, and to find this level of professionalism is an unexpected bonus. I’m happy in my new place thanks to you, Anton and Sasha! I’ll be recommending your services to friends and family.

Everything went smoothly with our move.
They were very efficient, careful and polite.
They didn’t take a single break and worked 8 hours straight.
Nothing got damaged and it was fairly priced compared to the market rates.
The response time was almost instantaneous and I have absolutely no complaints.

SF moving was amazing! I really can’t recommend it enough. When I first called, the customer service was so nice, informative, and helpful. They were incredibly professional! They arrived early, with all the materials, and was so efficient in the disassembly and reassembly of all our furniture. Our movers, Alex and Sasha, were so so nice and worked 7.5 hours without any complaints and loss of efficiency! We were really lucky to have them help us in this process.

These guys are awesome. Used twice for packing services and they finished under 3 hours both times. Sacha and Anton showed up on time, and started packing immediately. Very efficient and excellent quality for price. All goods were handled professionally and were not damaged. Highly recommended and would use again.

Okay, I think one star is even too much rating for this company. Two workers came and they did a good job. However, they demanded more money because of wrapping. Clearly, in the e-​mail they send you, they say they include the following:
Door to Door Service
Disassembling and Reassembling
Loading and Unloading
Professional wrapping with furniture pads
Packing materials: (tape, plastic, bubble wrap)
Moving Equipment
Basic Cargo Valuation
However, they charge you for the bubble wrap (about 50 dollars for wrapping a sofa).
And when you try to talk about this, they just simply say it is written in the email (which I was also looking at it while on the phone, and it CLEARLY says that those services should be included for the price that was estimated from the beginning) and they just keep yell at you because they are not professionals like that. It was the WORST experience I have ever had in this Bay area among the 5 – 6 moves I had over the past four years. DO NOT use this company for your own goods, unless you don’t care about how much you have to pay for the BUBBLES and stuff.

Fast, friendly and on time. Responsive to email, phone calls, and delivered all items without damage.

Booking was easy and the movers have been very conscientious about wrapping my furniture in plastic before moving it. The aspect that disappointed me was when my confirmed 9AM move got moved to 9−10AM (which wound up being 10AM). We were protecting parking spots and had to stand outside waiting for them to arrive. The pack up had taken longer than I expected which will cost me more money, but my stuff will have less dings, which is great.

SF Moving is great! Excellent customer service and communication through all the process. These guys are truly, great, professional, hardworking and a pleasure to deal with. They made sure to wrap up all the fragile items such as mirrors and glass items and were very careful with our lamps, cabinets, mattresses and other stuff that could easily be ripped or damaged. The fees are reasonable which included everything (no hidden costs!). However another company claimed to charge less per hour but ending up quoting us over 350 more for the same amount of time due to the extra fees such as disassemble/​assemble, long carry, special handling. I’m so glad that we decided to go with SF Moving instead. They will definitely be the first on my list to call and recommend for any moving and storage services.

Outstanding Service and grate prices !!! They came on time, wrapped everything neatly and handled all my belongings with care. They were very polite. I definitely recommend this company and give them five starts!

It was a second time I used SF Moving and again, they exceeded my expectations.
The whole experience from the move reservation over the phone to the actual move was very professional and painless. I very much appreciated how well the receptionist communicated and explained everything ahead of the actual move and was available to answer all my questions.
On the move day everything went really great and smooth. These guys are super fast. They loaded all the boxes and all my furniture pieces very quickly and everything were wrapped in blankets and then plastic. They treated my belongings with care and no one little thing were broken or damaged– really impressive because I had so many glass items.
I would absolutely hire SF Moving crew again — HIGHLY recommended!

10 stars!!! From the beginning of the process, SF MOVING were so friendly and helpful over the phone (which I always appreciate). They’ve answered all kinds of questions that I had about the move.
Michael and his crew of three did a fantastic job moving my three bedroom house from SF to east bay. When they showed up at my place they were friendly, professional, efficient and amazingly fast.
Next day I got a follow-​up call from Radu to check on how things went.
Great experience all in all, and I’d definitely recommend to anyone considering them!

We moved from our apartment to a 3 bedroom house and hired these guys. Excellent experience! I have to say we couldn’t be happier with the service we received.
Peter, Michael and Julian arrived on time, prepared, and were so friendly and polite. They took a great care of our things. They didn’t stand around talking or wasting time they were on the ball the whole time. All of our stuff was transported and set up properly with no damage. Very professional. I would definitely hire SF Moving team again if I’ll need to and of course I’ll recommend them to all of my friends and family!
