SF Balloon Magic

Hmm. I have to say I’m really surprised by all of the five star reviews for this company.
I have organized many corporate events as a C level assistant and know what to expect from vendors.
This overall was a long, frustrating process so I’ll keep it to the bullet points.
Positives:
1. The end product was great and just as expected. (hence the two stars)
2. Ronnie was prompt, on time for the event as expected.
3. Ronnie seems like a nice man.
The negatives:(sigh)
1. No website for customers to look at, peruse, and estimate cost/​budget etc. Being that SF sells an obvious visual product this is a huge drawback. The only picture available are those on Unilocal!Yikes
2. Response time for questions for slow and very lacking. It often took several emails and a voice mail to get a response.
3. Because this event was at a corporate building, we needed a certificate of insurance. Honestly a pretty basic request and something a business owner should have familiarity with. After providing our requirements (which are very straight forward) via email, it took (no exaggeration) at least 15 – 16 emails back and forth from Ronnie, his insurance agent, and myself to get what we needed.
Wow. One, I shouldn’t have to make that much effort. I’m your CUSTOMER. Also, the agent was … not too sharp to say the least. The process was exhausting, frustrating, and frankly I was annoyed that the SF needed so much hand holding to get this done.
4. I sent in our order request weeks in advance. Apparently the email was never reviewed. A few days before the event, I was asked what kind of balloons we wanted. Really? By now I was fully annoyed.
5. After all that, on the day of Ronnie was extremely rushed and frankly hardly helped me set up the balloons, doing the bare minimum. I get it, you’re busy. Aren’t we all?
6. Overall just a super disorganized experience.
I’m sorry but I can’t recommend this company to anyone (esp planning a huge event). I’m happy for those who had good experiences, but I won’t be giving them our business again.
They aren’t the only game in town.

SF Balloon Magic assisted us with our large scale NYE décor. They successfully transformed the property. Easy install, easy breakdown.

I recently hired Ronnie and his team to create balloon arrangements for a very special event at our office. Ronnie was fantastic to work with. He did a great job of listening to what type of balloon arrangements I wanted, and then worked with me closely to pick the right colors and to create exactly what I had envisioned. We ended up ordering a bunch of balloon bouquets and balloon letters. They added a really nice touch to our event.
Overall, I was super pleased with his work and would hire him again.

My company recently hired SF Balloon Magic for décor for a special event we were having.
They were great. Ronnie was very kind and quick to respond.
We had three different «creations» from them:
1. Normal balloon bouquets
2. Balloon towers
3. Balloon sprays
All three were very nice, but I have to say the sprays were the most impressive and they were a hot commodity when we told people they could take balloons home.
I would definitely use them again for future events and can’t wait to see what else they can make.

I recently hired SF Balloon Magic for a work event and it was a great experience. We ordered balloon bunches as well as those cool, large metallic letters. Ronnie was quick to respond and a pleasure to work with throughout the process. The pricing was on point and they were able to accommodate an early morning Saturday delivery for a nominal fee. Would be happy to work with them again!

When you organize events as part of your job, reliability and price are of utmost importance.
So when I called SF Balloon Magic with a real curveball …
ME: «um, hey… so I’ve got 100 foil balloons that I need blown up and delivered by 7:30AM on Thursday. They’re being custom-​printed and um, I don’t know exactly when they’ll be arriving to you… maybe by noon, maybe early afternoon… but definitely by 8pm on Wednesday. Is that cool?»
RONNIE: «Sure! And I’ll charge you x amount (which happened to be less than what several vendors quoted)»
… you kind of have your faith in humanity restored again!
Ronnie had our custom-​printed balloons delivered to his home to ensure delivery. He was communicative and responsive. And when it came down to today’s balloon delivery, he arrived promptly by 7:30am (which to me is an ungodly hour to be at work).

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to for the work that that SF balloon magic did for my girlfriend’s surprise birthday party. They blew up hundreds of balloons that lined the entire ceiling of our private room and it was magical. They gave me a fair price, quality balloons, Great customer service and made our celebration a success. They were reliable showing up and finishing the job on time And went above and beyond what I expected. I would definitely hire them again no question.

Ronnie and Brenda are AMAZING. They have the very best service and deliver a PHENOMENAL product. They transformed our office with their incredible balloon designs. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and I cannot wait to work with them again! I have never seen balloon creations up to the caliber that Ronnie and Brenda provided!

Ronnie and Brenda of Balloon Magic are fantastic, and went above and beyond to help make our block party today an outstanding success, and in no small part due to their awesome 12-​foot tall balloon markers.
The balloons brought their own bit of magic as gateways at each end of our lovely street. The multi-​colored, ribboned and weighted provided a festive look that made our neighborhood event exciting, and a hit with the neighbors and kids. A great value, too, but more importantly contributed to the enthusiasm of our community and to all those who attended.

Ronnie & Brenda are AMAZING! I had 200 balloons delivered to our office this morning for Employee Appreciation Week. I wanted to make sure the balloons arrived before the employees and Ronnie & Brenda made this happen. They were early and had the balloons waiting for me upon my arrival. To start with Ive been thinking about writing this review everyday since the day of my event in March! By this you can imagine how good Ronnie and Brenda are!!! If you are looking for the very best that there is in balloons your search stops here because Ronnie’s balloons are as good as it gets!
I searched every single balloon maker not only in San Francisco but all over the bay area. and simply wasnt pleased enough. finally I asked a friend who owns a party supply store and he simply told me Ronnie was my guy… I called him and told him that I had planned my son’s 3 yr birthday party and wanted it to be as over the top as my party was going to be but on a budget… yupp. by the time I got to the balloons I had already gone wayyy over budget but still didnt want to compromise. Ronnie laughed when I told him that but since he softened knowing it was going to make my baby’s day he told me he’ll try his best … I was nervous but when he showcased his best within my budget … the results in a nutshell surpassed my expectation — S.P.E.C.T.A.C.U.L.A.R!
Lastly, the balloons were so well made that they lasted us well over 15 days in good condition to the point that we decided the «chandeliers» finally had to go (we had two taking over our entire living room for that long) and so we literally had to use a lighter to blow them up like little bombs… something my son was delighted doing… now thats what I call «bang for the buck»
My friend was right. since that day I know Ronnie will be my balloon guy for life:)

We used SF Balloon Magic for a large corporate event at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Ronnie and team were easy to work with, efficient and on time. Ronnie beared with me through last minute changes and adds and was able to deliver multiple sets of balloon for a variety of events throughout the week. I highly reccommend their services!

OMG! Ronnie is fantastic! He did an amazing job for my husband’s surprise 40^th! We had a large squiggly that was affixed to our chandelier in the dining room — the thing must have spanned 6 feet! Breathtaking, color coordinated and beautiful. It went perfectly with the 25 or so loose balloons in the living room. Let’s just say my husband wasn’t the only one gasping when he walked in the door!!! All our guests were beyond impressed and who knew balloons could do that — by that I mean transform a space. The balloons made sure everyone knew it was no ordinary birthday party — that’s for sure!
Ronnie — you and your creations are fabulous! Thanks for the warm charismatic service and prompt reply and follow through. All you did was so greatly appreciated! Will definitely be using you again!

Balloon Magic,
perfect name for a company that really gets it. Done way before the party started, the room way changed and it was amazing. Ron and Brenda are very professional, experienced and creative. We just gave them the date and who the party was for and got out of the way. Everybody loved the decorations, they transformed the room.
Trust me I know a lot about balloons, and these guys are good.

Great place — they worked with me quickly, they DELIVER! And they accepted my card over the phone. Will definitely use them again. Only $ 125 for 100 balloons, delivery, weights, etc.
