SF Art Conservation

I first worked with SF Art Conservation last year, when Rowan and her team helped prepare a private art collection for a high-​profile public exhibition. She was not only sensitive to our tight timeline, the work was careful and thorough, transforming the objects so that they were in the best possible condition to be enjoyed by museum visitors. I also very much appreciate the detailed treatment report, which included information on further object care. I absolutely recommend SF Art Conservation, and I look forward to working with Rowan again.

Rowan is fantastic! She has restored several pieces for me over the years, in a range of ages and materials, and always done a superb job. Her work is meticulous and professional, her prices are reasonable, and she is very easy to work with. I recommend her very highly.

I have had the great pleasure to work with Rowan Geiger on a number of projects of varying complexity. She is always highly professional and extremely pleasant to work with. She gets the job done quickly, but with great care and attention to detail. She works on delicate, small objects, as well as on very large outdoor sculptures –painted, bronze, Corten steel… (I have witnessed her work in all of these areas and all parties have been very pleased with the outcome). She has now hired on several additional conservators to work at her side, and so offers a highly talented team with a broad range of skills in order to address any object conservation project that comes her way. After all of her work on various museum staffs over the years, she now has a full-​service objects conservation studio of her own, as well as a beautiful laboratory environment. One more thing; what a surprise, her rates are very reasonable. I know it sounds like I am waxing poetic, but I do so for good reason. Go Rowan!
