While I was at the airport getting ready to fly back to Virginia, I stopped by to pick up a few goodies. I’d heard about See’s Candies (SC) before, and when I spotted their Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters, I couldn’t resist!
I am a huge fan of dark chocolate, but I think everyone would love these candies. I don’t find them bitter like a lot of dark chocolate are – or can be. Personally – I like bitter, but just saying for those who don’t like it. Clusters of toasted almonds, covered with creamy, dark chocolate – I can’t stop thinking about them!
If you’re someone like me who has to stay away from sugar (or trying to cut down), you can eat three clusters for only 10 grams of sugar. That’s pretty good for candy! However, being able to stop eating after those three clusters can be difficult – they are too delicious. FYI – they do carry Sugar-​Free Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters online (

I am now a fan of SC, and being able to order online is awesome for someone like me. It was cool to check them out at the airport, but I’ve read that their prices are much more expensive than their regular stores. No matter what, I would beg, steal or borrow in order to get more Dark Chocolate Almond Clusters from SC.

Buying See’s candy at the airport was ridiculous!!! I went to grab 1 pc of the chocolate covered marshmellow and threw it on my girlfriends charge and she’s winking to me no. When they ran it up it was $ 4.50 for that one piece. Come on now, that is way too high.

While I love their Toffee-​ettes and Almond Clusters, the prices at the airport stand are outrageous compared to rest of the locations in San Francisco. Of course, I expected to pay a premium at the airport location, but $ 17.95 in town vs $ 24.95 at the airport is an additional 30% on top of their standard markup!

rushing to catch a flight, thinking of all the candy-​less disappointed faces that will await me at my destination, and what do I see but the soft glow of the See’s kiosk, complete with angels singing. I screech in there, grab a bunch of boxes, and was checked out efficiently by the sweetest woman ever (thank you, for keeping the till open for another 5 minutes!). plus I hit some sort of spend threshold and got a free bag. I was fancy on that flight!

I swear they make the bordeaux from powdered angels. This candy is like Heaven on earth. There is nothing else to say.

They purposely put that store in front of the 70’s gates where United is located. I fly United around once a month and the See’s beckons me each time. It must be a busy place since they have stantions to control the lines, which I never see when I visit. The smell of chocolate, the sights of the white wrapped boxes and now the Easter candy out with their foil coverings… have to drop $ 5 – 20 bucks each time. Have to get gifts for friends and candy for the plane ride.
