History

Established in 1991.

Founded in 1991 by Tom Burkhart, two years later Savant moved from its Menlo Park Headquarters to San Francisco and the historic ClockTower Building on Second Street, South of Market.

In 2011, we rebranded under our new name, Savant Investment Group LLC, to mark 20 years of successful operations. In 2015, we completed a five-​year transition with Scott Lummer becoming the sole owner. This transition reaffirms our commitment to remaining independent, a vital characteristic in today’s conflicted investment world.
