Their front desk staff needs to get it together. I’ve had two surgeries with them this year and during both of my post op appointments they failed to collect a co pay or told me I didn’t have one, then I get a bill in the mail saying that i have an outstanding balance.

Dr. Vanessa Kenyon is one of those doctors you wished you had all your life. When you’re in her office, she makes you feel like you’re her only patient. She listens to you and takes her time evaluating your symptoms to give you the best possible care. If I could give her 10 stars I would!

Dr. Vanessa Kenyon, ENT Doctor, one of the best in SF! Next time you ever need to see the ENT specialist, see Dr. Kenyon. She’s beyond the greatest: 1) her expertise is astonishing, 2) great personality, 3) always has great referrals, 4) and more importantly, she cares about her patients. What more could you ask? I highly recommend!

After going to my regular doctor with a small lump on my inner lip she referred me to the San Francisco Ear Nose & Throat Medical Group and wrote down the name of a few of the doctors at the practice. I did a little research and Unilocaling on the doctors I chose Dr. Aditi Mandpe.
I called a couple times to see if I could get an appointment and after lots of phone ringing I resorted to leaving a message and waited for someone to call me back. I won’t lie, this made me a little nervous. Are you so busy that you can’t answer your own phone? Well, a few hours later I got a call back and was able to schedule a consultation for a week later.
When I showed up for my appointment the office was quite full with people waiting. This was another thing that made me nervous. So, I filled out all the paperwork and took a seat with my magazine and fully charged phone. By the looks of it I was going to be waiting for a long time. To my surprise, 5 min later I was called into the doctor’s room, 5 min before my appointment was supposed to start! I thought, OK, now is when the real waiting begins. So, I started to read an article in a magazine and before I could finish Dr. Aditi was in the room with me, right on time! She was very professional and friendly. She listened to me and then took a feel in my mouth. She diagnosed it as a mucoid cyst, just what my other doctor had thought. So, she explained that it would be a 30 min procedure I needed to come back another day to get done.
So, off to the front desk I went and made an appointment for a week later to get the surgery done.
When I showed up on surgery day I was greeted with the same friendly staff and amazing promptness as I had experienced the first time. The surgery took a little longer than expected, about an hour rather than 30 min. But, Dr. Aditi got the cyst out and it’s gone!
The professionalism and efficiency of this office is truly stellar. You don’t come across Dr’s offices like this anymore. Plus, the nurse let me take home a balloon to my daughter :)

I had a persistent sinus/​throat infection, and three visits to an Urgent Care facility had proven futile. Thankfully I was referred to Dr. Kenyon, who could not be more knowledgeable, professional and warm. She made me feel at ease right away, efficiently diagosed the problem and gave me practical tips for speeding up my recovery. Highly recommend!

This is a complaint about Dr. Mandpe’s unethical (perhaps fraudulent) office practice of billing at her/​his surgery rate for a simple 10 minute procedure, conducted by her nurse. I never saw the surgeon Dr. Manpe, but I was charged her rate of $ 250/​hr (at the MD surgeon rate) for a standard ear cleaning for my waxy ears. I was told in advance that the procedure would be conducted by the Nurse, covered by my insurance. I’ve had this procedure done for years, never at this rate.
But $ 250 for this? Wonder why your insurance premiums are going up? Look to these shoddy providers who leverage their staff by charging the surgery rate for simple procedures.
Quite disgraceful esp because if the waiting room reflects their practice, most are elderly presumably on fixed income & Medicare.

While I can be forgiving when a doctor is running late, it is unprofessional in my opinion when no one checks up on you after they have put you in a room.
My doctor ran 50 minutes late. NO ONE checked up on me for the entire duration that I waited. I could have left or been dead. And I heard office staff chatting outside my door the whole time, so perhaps someone, a PA or NURSE or OFFICE PERSON, could have looked in on me and told me if and when the doctor would show up.
Finally, the doctor shows, with no apology or anything. You know, my time is valuable as well. A simple sorry goes a long way doctor. Then the whole 5 minutes the doc spent with me, seemed in such a hurry to leave the room.
Maybe an off day, and I can understand being a thorough physician and taking extra time with some patients. However, it should not be at the cost (of time) to the other patients waiting.
And most important, show some respect by keeping a waiting patient informed.
This office should be putting this into practice, both staff AND doctor.

To supplement my outstanding rating for Dr. Mandpe, I also want to commend the SF ENT Group. We were able to schedule a frenotomy for our newborn within 24 hours of calling. The office is clean and the staff and assistants are very courteous and helpful.

My experience with Dr. Vanessa Kenyon was so fantastic, I just had to share with the Unilocal world. Thoroughly impressed with her deep knowledge and warm personality. Highly recommend her for your ENT needs!

Great job at cleaning my sinuses with no pain!

Dr. Mickel and the ENT group were both great. They were extremely accommodating to my particular situation, easy to make appointments with, very friendly and work with great facilities. I had surgery done by Dr. Mickel at the surgical center where he does procedures and it was by FAR the best medical experience I’ve had. All the staff were great and everything went right on schedule and I was out in a matter of just a FEW HOURS! Incredible! They weren’t rushing me out either. Vastly different to other horrible experiences elsewhere in the past. I was blown away. Lastly, the surgery seems to have been done well, I recovered quickly and it has been successful in helping me breath better.

I went to see Dr. Vanessa Kenyon because I was starting to have very frequent and heavy nosebleeds, sometimes lasting 20 – 30 minutes. The nosebleeds were pretty debilitating and I was desperate for a remedy (I later learned this was probably due to allergies from the springtime and all the sneezing involved). I had read online that chemical cauterization could help the problem. Dr. Kenyon listened carefully to my symptoms and was very warm, friendly, and professional. She has a very gentle demeanor and she diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately with a silver nitrate cauterization in just one visit– hooray! I also brought in my toddler daughter for an ear issue and Dr. Kenyon was fantastic with my daughter and made the visit so fun for her my daughter asked when she could go back to see «Dr. Vanessa.» I also found the staff there to be really friendly, helpful, and professional. Very happy I found Dr. Kenyon and I would highly recommend her!

I’ve seen Dr. Vanessa Kenyon twice: once with my 18 year old niece who had a badly infected tonsil. Dr. Kenyon was reassuring and kind so I kept her card in case I should ever have a child of my own. Fast forward two years and I was referred to the practice because my one year old was having issues with hoarseness and eating solids. I made sure we saw Dr. Kenyon and was pleased to see how good she is with babies. She conducted the exam with a calm and gentle style. Her demeanor is warm and she wasn’t rushed when she was seeing us. When we had follow-​up questions she took her time with me on the phone to make sure I had all the info I needed. (Incidentally she diagnosed my baby with a tongue-​tie and was incredibly understanding and sympathetic toward me since I’d had a very difficult time with breastfeeding at first.)

I had a visit with a Nurse Practitioner who was quite nice but delayed my appointment by nearly 40 minutes. 3 stars off for the massive delay and for wasting my time.

I had a visit with Dr. Kenyon. You will probably not find a better personality for a Dr. out there. Caring and professional.
Only issue, I was prescribed some medicine that wasn’t covered by my insurance. I called to see if there was a different option. They then said they would call and make sure that I got a discount. Then I received another call that said they fulfilled the prescription, but when I asked about the discount, they said they had no idea about it.
If you are going to have people sign binding arbitration agreements and such, please discuss all fees with the patient prior to having to deal with procedures or cost related items.

I saw Dr. Kenyon for some throat problems. She was friendly, kind, and easy-​going. She explained everything that she was doing, and gave me excellent advice. I highly recommend Dr. Kenyon for anyone experiencing ear, nose and/​or throat problems!

I’m not one to write a lot of reviews, but wanted to get one in here for Dr. Kenyon — my amazing ENT who just easily guided me through a tonsillectomy without any issues (which at 35 years old is apparently harder than you’d think).
I thought it was gonna be bad — I had already gone to the ER 4x for recurring peritonsillar abscess, and every time my doctors said — you’re going to need a tonsillectomy (and at your age, it’s not going to be easy). «At my age»?! Thankfully the last ER doc (from CPMC) recommended Dr. Kenyon at SF ENT. He saved me once, then saved me again with such a great recommendation.
She was just what I needed — the calm, caring, and confident doctor you’d want in this situation. And the Presidio Surgical Center was also about as helpful as they could be — I had some issues w/​the anesthesia and they were more than attentive to my questions post-​surgery.
Overall, the tonsillectomy was no joke — but not as bad as it could’ve been. I owe a lot to Dr Kenyon and her team — thanks!

This medical practice is amazing! I heart SF ENT! I’ve been going here for years, and the staff is wonderful. All of the physicians are top notch, and they are all experts in their particular fields. Dr. Mandpe in particular has gone above and beyond to care for me, and for that I hold her in very high esteem. All of the additional physicians are equally as friendly, and their expertise is second to none. Medical assistant Moshabar is very friendly and welcoming, and is a greet asset to the office team. Additionally, Bette, Rosalind and Kishette, and all other staff members are superstars, and office manager Scott Stone knows how to quickly diffuse any issue a patient might have.
