So I’ve been coming here for many years. From Dr. Atrouni to Dr Chadha to now Dr Shah, the service has been impeccable and consistent. I love coming here. I even considered leaving at one point only to visit other offices and realize what a mistake I was making.

Great experience!
I scheduled an appointment and they had availability within the next week. They were all so helpful. They found some issues that my previous dentists’ never mentioned, so I get to work myself back to a great smile once more.
They are shying away from the «scary dentist» experience. The first thing I was asked when I went in was what movie would I want to watch. So while they were examining and cleaning my teeth I was watching episodes of Modern Family. Never got that scary vibe at all.
Highly recommended.

Came in for my first appointment and was not dissapointed at all. Dr. Shah and her staff are as awesome as they get. I can’t believe it took this long for me to find them. Kim and Cassandra at the front are super friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to any concerns when it comes to insurance and financials! Lisa the assistant and the Dr were very gentle with me. (I’m very sensitive when it comes to dental) and made me feel at ease! Can’t wait to tell all my friends about them!

Love these ladies! Everything about the process was smooth as can be — making my appointment with Kim, cleaning/​consultation, a couple quick cavity fills, and wrapping up with the cost. They were all so fast and efficient, PLUS I got to watch Modern Family while they did their thing. I will 100% be making this my main dental office!

Let me start by saying if I could give this office 25 stars I would! 5 starts to each friendly, caring & knowledgable person in that office. :) I have met a few dentist in my life and I gotta say Dr. Shah has been the best yet. I got some cosmetic dental work done and I can not express how happy I am with the results! The front staff always great me with a warm welcome & always find a way fit me in. They even offer you to watch a movie! I would definitely recommend this office to my friends, family & coworkers.

This was my first time going to this place and wow what a great experience! The front desk was super welcoming and nice. I instantly felt comfortable and at ease when I got there, which is so not common for me going to the dentist! Anyway, Mina cleaned my teeth and she was super amazing! She was personable and friendly and gave me a lot of information about my teeth. She was also really gentle and easy to talk to. I actually had a good time being in the chair with her. It was like getting my teeth cleaned by a friend! Literally! I highly recommend this place and Mina as a hygienist. She made the experience for me awesome! I will be coming back!

I started my major procedure done with Dr. Shah back when she was still in Fremont. I needed implant which requires bone graft, a long with it veneers to align all my teeth… I went through so much procedure, I was in and out of there, but Dr. Shah was very patient with me, professional and very knowledgeable. She answered all my concerns and even advised me with the financial part of it.
Dr. Shah is amazing!!! I’m from Union city and I don’t mind going to the city to see her every now and then ;))
Also, the staff in San Francisco were very friendly, greeted me with a big smile and offered me a drink ;)) I feel really comfortable coming here…

My friend recommended me to this dental office. I recently moved to San Francisco from Chicago and wasn’t sure about changing dentists, since I will still commute to Chicago on some occasions for business. But, I am so glad that I decided to go here for my invasalign treatment. Since the past few months, I have been super impressed by the how hospitable Dr. Shah and her staff are. I really felt like I am getting a great experience :)

Right from the beginning of my appointment I had such a great experience. Right as you walked in you are greeted with a friendly smile, I believe her name was Kimberly, she’s so sweet and very helpful made the check in process fast and efficient as possible. I had the pleasure of being attended by a wonderful Dental Assistant by the name of Lisa. She was so caring, personable and took great impressions (which I usually hate but this time was so easy) YAY!
Dr Shah has to be the greatest Dentist in the area! She’s the sweetest, most gentle dentist and definitely an artist in her craft. If you are looking for a new dentist in Fidi/​SoMa, Dr Shah is definitely a dentist I would highly recommend.
The office itself if aesthetically pleasing with bright colors and big windows to let light sun shine through its office which makes it pleasant. Not like other dental offices where it looks dingy. They also serve coffee, tea and water which is nice if you have a family member that you need to wait for. If you’re there for your own appointment, there is NO WAIT TIME which is great for me in this crazy busy city.
Definitely a great place if your looking for a new dental office with great peeps and excellent quality.

Had such a wonderful experience here that I had to write a review! Dr. Shah and her staff are simply amazing. They’re not just good… They’re the best and that’s coming from someone who had some pretty horrific dental stories. I also live an hour away and don’t mind the drive if it means a great experience!
Mina did my cleaning! The level of comfort and professionalism that she administered was remarkable. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable right away, as if we’ve been friends for a long time catching up during lunch. She also had the most gentle hands. I didn’t feel a thing during my cleaning and my teeth felt so clean afterwards. I was so relaxed, almost to the point where I could have fallen asleep in relaxation. She was also very knowledgable. Before I left, she took the time to answer some of my questions and gave me some tips on how to better care for my teeth.
I highly recommend this place! I don’t think I’ll ever dread going to the dentist again!

I love this place! Not everyone can say the same about coming to the dentist, but it’s definitely the awesome staff that makes me feel great. Dr. Shah is an amazing dentist! She is very sweet. She always makes sure I’m comfortable and taken care of. Kim at the front desk is great! She always greets me with such a great smile and attitude. She knows my schedule for when I need to schedule appointments. She is on point. Last but not least, Mina. She is awesome! She is very personable. She cleans my teeth so well and keeps me occupied with conversation that I forget I’m even at the dentist! I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a dentist that isn’t money hungry and will always take care of your teeth. Check them out!

Dr. Shah was really good. I got my Invisalign and she was super sweet and cooperating. She’s now my go to dentist.

Got my standard cleaning done by Dr Shah and she was amazing. Would recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Shah and team are amazing! Very kind, extremely knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner.
I don’t know anything about the past dentists, but it sounds like Dr. Shah overtaking the practice made a critical difference.
The office is super conveniently located. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodative (I had 4 different criteria for booking appts and they made it work)! The appointments begin on time, and there’s a huge screen to watch a movie on as you get your teeth cleaned.
Honestly, I’d rather get my teeth cleaned weekly than sit through some of the meeting I have for work. :)

Came here for a standard cleaning, first in a while. I had never seen this before (maybe it’s the techie nature of SF) but they actually have movies + fancy headphones to distract you while they go to town on your teeth. It actually a pretty good distraction and makes things less stressful. Recommend.

I started going here about 2.5 years ago when Dr Chadha was the dentist, and I absolutely loved her.
It’s been about a year since I’ve needed anything other then a cleaning and checkup so I can’t comment on the two (?) previous dentists who succeeded Dr Chadha.
A week ago I had my first procedure with Dr Shah the new dentist, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is a brilliant and highly skilled dentist and extremely calm and caring, she even called yesterday to check up on me.
The hygienist is the only member of staff who I recognize from Dr Chadha’s days, but all the new staff seem very professional and sweet, I thought the receptionist particularly warm and helpful.
If you are a past patient of Dr Chadha, then rest assured you will love Dr Shah.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I normally don’t review places, but I have to write this in case anyone is considering going here. I went here after going a few years without seeing a dentist so I needed more than an average visit (as detailed below). I kept going as they had my records and it was a great location for me, but I should have left earlier than I did.
In the past 6 months, this place has had four different dentists come and go, all of whom have minimal actual experience with patients (from temp agencies or instructors from dental schools). A few of the problems from this place:
1. Gave me a crown (that cost $ 500 with insurance) for a sore tooth. Upon getting a second opinion it turns out I needed a root canal from the start and the crown was a waste of tooth and money.
2. Took terrible notes upon returning for a filling where they thought they needed to drill on a tooth that was totally fine (after a few minutes of arguing claiming «but that’s what our notes say!» They actually looked at the tooth and agreed that the notes were wrong).
3. Terrible front desk communication. They made me the incorrect type of retainer that I had requested (thin plastic and clear vs metal wire), and they never know what the dentist recommended upon checking out and arranging next visits.
Avoid for the sake of your dental hygiene, your wallet, and to teach them that the people will not support such terrible dentistry.

This is one of the most comfortable, friendly, modern, and thorough dentist offices I’ve ever been to. Both the dentist and hygienist were informative, kind, and promising (this was just a cleaning and exam.) and the reception staff also quite helpful and knowledgeable about options for financing future care. (I have yet to reinstate dental insurance from years without it.)
I’d recommend them to family and friends heartily. :)
