Meet the Business Owner
Jesse M.
Business Owner
Following a successful career in technology, Samovar® founder Jesse Jacobs ventured into the international tea market with a unique urban locale contrasting the highly caffeinated, internet-frenzied crowd at coffee shops.
Now with three beloved Tea Lounge restaurants, online shop, and a dedicated staff of 100 employees, Jacobs’s latest entrepreneurial focus is Tea Bar concept where he’s introducing 3rd Wave tea for the first time ever in the world.
Chip Conley, founder of Joie de Vivre Hospitality and Head of Hospitality for Airbnb, says, «What sets Jesse Jacobs apart is his unique ability to motivate his staff, connect to customers, and to grow his business with a unique blend of compassion and entrepreneurial savvy. Definitely a company to keep an eye on.»
Jacobs has been recognized as «Entrepreneur of the Month» by San Francisco Business Times. Samovar® has received accolades in New York Times, CNN, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Travel & Leisure, Lonely Planet, and others.
