You can’t go wrong trusting your purchase or sale to Sally! We have used her for both. First, she knows the San Francisco market and individual neighborhoods really, really well. She gives you the straight talk on the market — in your neighborhood — i.e., what the latest trends are for your type of place (selling or buying), your neighborhood and comps, and she gives you her judgment on offers and what it will take to close the deal.
Sally is also really, really, really, responsive — by phone, email or text. All questions are welcome. She manages and handles all the moving parts of the sale, including coordinating with movers, finding, coordinating and meeting handyman, painters, stagers, cleaners, etc., and she often improves the staging, either by requiring improvements on their end, or sprucing things up herself. She really makes the whole process as painless as possible. She met us when it was convenient for us, she dropped things off that the movers missed at our new place after hours — she really goes way above and beyond.
And for people selling a condo, she also does a great job minimizing disruption to other building owners and keeping everyone informed. She is so friendly and warm that all of our fellow condo-​owners commented to me that they appreciated her updates and monitoring the comings and goings from our building.

My husband and I recently purchased our first home with the help of Sally Thompson – and truly feel we could not have done it without her. It took us a year to find/​win the perfect home and she was so patient with us. She is knowledgeable about the San Francisco market and can give great advice about comps, trends, neighborhoods, etc.

I just purchased my first home in San Francisco with the help of Sally and it was such an enjoyable process! We had heard how brutal the market was and how long we were going to have to look but that wasn’t the case at all in working with Sally.
We went and looked at a few properties — one of which really stood out and the others of which fell flat. During the search process I really appreciated Sally’s honesty about all of the properties we were seeing. Every property we saw Sally listed pros and cons about the place and gave an ultimate thumbs up or down, a surprisingly helpful thing to have when you’re overwhelmed by the process and options! She brought up things I would have never thought of and it was great to have her there for that.
We fell in love with one place and Sally made it happen. We saw it on a Tuesday, went back on Wednesday to look once more, made an offer on Thursday, and had our offer accepted on Friday. Sally was so good about keeping us calm and confident through the process.
During the escrow period Sally was always reachable and responded to any questions I had within a couple minutes! She explained everything that was happening and worked with the bank, mortgage agent, and escrow officer flawlessly. I’m sure it was a ton of work for her but it felt like a breeze to me — something every good agent should leave their client feeling!
