I began Staging mid 1990’s. A time the cutting edge of an important addition to marketing properties. Staging to me means ‘to create an environment’ a visual opportunity presented to a buyer of what could be. Properties are not all perfect, not everyone can visualize; that then is why you hire me the designer/stager. I have the knowledge and experience. I evaluate the same way I begin Interior Design projects — the property in total — lighting colors — good not so good points. What the camera sees when completed-potential buyers look at MLS get excited or go to the next property. Bookcases with books beautiful things. Furniture flow scale-art. I blend styles. No cookie cutter. Photography, very important — how they light-wide angle-show off the room.
Design: Furn. Bathrooms Kitchens Lighting Flooring. One room or whole house. Consultation. I ask questions & listen.

History
Established in 1994.
The staging began when I was selling real estate in San Francisco. I had a listing at 1080 Chestnut that was not selling. I staged it. I, along with a select few realized the need for this new concept (outside of model home staging). Retiring from real estate I started my design company and staging business full time. Staging clients became interior design clients. One client had my business card for two years before calling — knowing she would be selling some day. I love what I do.
One particular (3 condos) property I had under construction for 10 months I designed 4.5 bathrooms — 3 kitchens — lighting — colors and more before staging. The sellers had been past clients. They sold quickly.
My major — art, journalism and photography.
