Business Owner

Dr. Sabine Sell is a psychologist and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She completed her Masters degree at the University of San Francisco in 2001 and attained her Doctorate at Ryokan College in 2014. She is trained in The Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ programs created by Dr. Brené Brown and is one of just a handful of Certified Facilitators of these programs in the Bay Area.

I was just going through some notes I made after a session with Sabine and was moved to write this review.
Sabine is a wonderful and effective therapist and a highly skilled practitioner of EMDR. The work I did with her has made a huge difference for me. I strongly recommend her.

Sabine is absolutely wonderful. Simply and completely. She’s extremely intuitive — she really hones in on helping you express and work on those deep issues that are often times hard to verbalize. Sabine has been a rock through a very tumultuous time in my life and always seems to know the right thing to say whether I’m laughing or crying. She is extremely present and alert to all that you say and her mind is always working on the precise thing that you need to hear at that time. She insightful, compassionate, honest and kind. I’ve grown immensely with her aid and patience and don’t know what I would have done had I not found her.
She is an outstanding therapist and I would never hesitate to recommend her because I can never imagine her disappointing.

I found Sabine Sell by myself, not by the recommendation of friends. I sought her out because she also has a strong European (German) background, which I considered important. Some of the issues in my relationship have to do with the cross cultural marriage I am leading here in the US.
Sabine is well equipped to discuss and deeply understand the issues arising from the disconnection someone feels who lives abroad for a long period of time.
She is a fantastic listener and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I went to Sabine several years ago and she really helped me through a bad time in my life. Her direct approach was exactly what I needed, no kid gloves, when I went there to work, we worked.
I really liked that once Sabine thought I was doing better, she let me go instead of insisting that I needed to come back weekly for the rest of my life, this shows a high level of integrity that you don’t alway see.
She’s funny, she’s smart and she will take good care of you!

She was there during one of the most adverse moments in my life. It’s one of those times when there is really no instruction manual on how to deal with things. Well, her insight pretty much set my priorities straight. In effect, made me a better person and a better father. My family and I appreciate all she’s done.
