S16 Home offers furniture consignment for a range of home wares, furnishings and art. The uniquely curated store contains interesting pieces hand selected by the owner, Brian Allen.

We specialize in vintage and contemporary designer objects, lighting, furnishings and art works from the industrial, mid-​century and contemporary design periods.

History

Established in 2014.

S16 Home opened in April 2014. Initially, Brian wanted to open a shop five years ago. But, the economy took a turn for the worse and the idea was shelved. Then in June 2013, Brian found an amazing new store front in the Castro and signed the lease! The building had to go through major retrofitting for several months but he got a brand new space in the end. After months of renovations and shopping, the shop came together and he opened the doors April 12, 2014.

Business Owner

Brian Allen has worked for interior design firms in San Francisco for over 10 years. Specializing in high end, residential home stagings, Brian has styled luxury homes up to 20,000 square feet. He has also managed designer and staging crews at large firms.

Brian has always had a passion for seeking out unique, one of a kind objects and home furnishings. He left the design firm in April 2014 and made his passion his career by opening S16 Home.
