Business Owner

Dr. Young was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He is a doctoral graduate from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry with more than 25 years experience dedicating his professional career to provide for his patients the best that dentistry offers. Dr. Young achieves this by participating in advanced training and continual professional education courses.

By using state-​of-​the-​art techniques including dental bonding metal-​free fillings, porcelain veneers and teeth whitening, Dr. Young will help you achieve a beautiful, healthy, dazzling smile. Best of all, Dr. Young gives each patient personalized care and will help you make informed choices about your dental health.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Young spends time with his wife Katie, and his two sons and daughter, Ryan, Shaun and Natalie and with their dog, Ashley. They reside in San Francisco, California and enjoy being part of the community. Dr. Young practices Tai Chi, enjoys photography and good music, and plays

I have never been a fan of dentists. I was often apprehensive, scared, and sometimes rude. I am so glad I found Dr. Young. He has made me feel comfortable and his staff is amazing. They always make me feel welcome and address my concerns… even my fears. I would highly recommend this office to everyone!!!

There is a sweet spirit about this doctor and his staff. The atmosphere was so pleasant I went fast asleep while my mother in law got her beautiful smile. Ask questions and you will get answers. Dr. Young takes the time to provide you with valuable knowledge about dental care. He takes the time to get to know his customers and builds a better relationship with them. The teeth cleaning is fair and his office assistants are polite and helpful. They are great about reminders for upcoming appointments.
Parking in the area may be tough, but there is street parking a few blocks up near the church and J-​Town.

I just visited Dr. Russell Young last week. He is my dentist for the last five years. He is knowledgeable, friendly and get the jobs done. Also, everyone in his office is really nice and helpful with concerns and questions. Dr. Young is by far the best dentist I’ve ever visit.

Dr. Young has been my dentist for quite a few years. He takes the time to explain what needs to be done and works out a plan that is best suited for me keeping my finances in mind. I am impressed by how he combines his technical skill and superb judgement based on years of experience. His staff is outstanding. I am glad to have Dr. Russell Young as my dentist. I would recommend Dr. Young to anyone who is looking for a truly good dentist.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Young. I have been going to him for a couple of years and he has not only put my mind at ease when it comes to my dental issues but he has completly transformed my smile. When I first started going to him I was extremly self concious about my teeth. I never smiled with my mouth open and was in constant worry that I would never have a smile I could show off and feel good about. One of the things that I loved most about Dr. Young is not only did he give me an amazing smile but he was always working with my finances. With Dr. Youngs help I have been able to achieve the teeth I never thought I could afford. That may sound a bit crude but we all know how expensive dentist can be and with Dr. Young I never felt a bit of worry about being able to afford his services. He was always reasonable and willing to work with me. He is kind and considerate. I recently had 10 veneres put on and I spent a lot of time at the dentist during this process. I never felt uncomfortable or worried about anything. He made sure I was always at ease and would call after the various procedures to make sure I wasn’t having any pain or reaction. Today I have a healthy mouth and a smile I am thrilled with. I Truely adore my dentist!!! Best dentist in S.F.

We have been with Dr. Young for more than 20 years. We could not be more pleased and satisfied by the services and work from Dr. Young and his team. We have had a number of procedures done including a root canal, several cavities and a crown, EVERY TIME, we have a fantastic experience with Dr. Young and his professional team. Appointments are easy to schedule and always on time. Dr. Young also provides excellent dental care information, he is extremely knowledgeable, he educates us how to take good care of our teeth. He treat our teeth as his OWN teeth. He CARES!
In such a bad economic now, he is trying his best to save patients’ money, never recommends something unnecessary, and when performing work he is super-​careful and strives for perfection.
We are benefited by his up-​to-​date dental technology and practices!
Our teeth can tell Dr. Young is the BEST 5-​star dentist in the town!!!

Dr. Young has always been so informative, patient, and most importantly, honest. He doesn’t try to «sell» you procedures you don’t need. He truly cares about his patients’ well being.
He has so much experience and knowledge since he has been in this business for almost 3 decades. His prices are definitely worth it for the quality of work he does. I personally have been a patient of Dr. Young for over 20 years. Over the years I have had some incidents where I needed to be seen right away and he always accomdated me. My whole family goes to him, and everyone I have referred to him always tells me how he made their dental visit so comfortable.
Another plus, his office is beautiful and in a very classy building. His staff is always attentive and answers any questions I have. Bottom line, Dr. Young is really the best dentist in the bay area!!!

This was my first experience being at the dental office and the scene went something like this…
«What are the top five things you should do to take care of your teeth?»
Me: «Ummm, brush, floss, mouthwash, and… and…»
«What else? You still have two more. C’mon, what else?»
Me: «Umm…more flossing?»
«No, no, no, you need rubber pick. And stay away from sugar and gum.»
Me: «Gum?»
“Yes. Gum. Now tell me what are the top three reasons for not chewing gum“
This went on for 45 minutes!!! And this was before the cleaning.
And he was out of my network. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
