I came in for a 9:20 appt. It’s past 10 am and I am still waiting to be seen. Pretty unacceptable and not cool to mess up your patient’s entire schedule for the rest of the day. Good idea to book less appts and give yourself more time so you can stay on top of your schedule and respect your patients schedules.

Still waiting at 11:31am for my 10:50am appointment. The doctor is nice, but it’s just not worth the time wasted sitting in the tiny, overbooked waiting room. Will avoid coming back at all costs.

such a cool physician, charming and informative. great physician, i just straight up like her. like, it’s super pleasant going to visit here. and the staff is great too. the full package. maybe if some didn’t have a good experience with the bedside manner, it’s because they demand more? otherwise it’s baffling, her expertise is so obvious, she’s ultra sharp and poised, clever, droll even.

Wow… talk about no bedside manner. She was more than an hour late for my appointment and offered no apology. I told her I wanted a skin cancer check… she looked me over quickly and started to walk out the door without asking if I had any other questions (which I did). Cold and unhelpful. She may know her stuff, but what does that matter if she can’t interact with her patients? She should stay in the lab and just be a researcher.

I found Ruby to be very engaging and very intelligent. We talked about her research and she gave me some pragmatic medical advice. Maybe it helps that I am also a scientist and can relate to her.

ZERO BE WARNED ZERO
Read other reviews for UCSF Dermatology (running severely (over 1 hour) and un-​apologetically late for schedule appointments)
Dr. G was not interested in hearing my history. She was arrogant to point of guessing at a diagnosis, then saying «I will eat my shorts» if it is different than her glib diagnosis. She came back in a few minutes later to say the tests indicated something different than her diagnosis. Then she remarked, «the tests must be wrong!» She did not instill any confidence.

I used to see her but it was so long since last appt she considered me a new patient and wouldn’t take me back must been my Unilocal review. Dr Ghadially is an honest smart informative sensitive dermatologist that is sorely missed by freaky little old me

Dr Ghadially is probably one of my favorite doctors. Straight forward, honest and always seems to have the right diagnosis. After a previous misdiagnosis, I went to see Dr Ghadially and she fixed it right away.
I could see how some people might find her demeanor brusque, but she is busy with many patients and research. But I find her to be a warm person with a genuine desire to help and understand her patients.
Unfortunately, she’s only seeing patients one day a week so getting an appointment can be a challenge.
