I come here regularly, love this place. BUT, it’s 12:05am on a Friday and they are either not open or answering their phone. Either way, not good.

Been coming to this place for a while now. Lunch special is awesome. I’ve had a sandwich, chips and a soda all for under $ 5. Well today must have been a bad day. Went in and ordered a sandwich as usual. When I got back to my office and unwrapped my sandwich I see a hair pin/bobby pin sticking out of my sandwich. I was so grossed out by it that I called up the Deli. I must have been speaking with the owner who stated«well you should tell the girl that makes the sandwiches» WTF?! Um no sir you should tell your employee to wear a hair net. I asked for my money back which he refused to do. He said he’d give me another sandwich. I said absolutely not. Never again will I get anything from this store.

I wish i knew where to perhaps send money or something to Feathers husband. I cant imagine losing my husband. If someone knows where to contact Brian please let me know. I think it is awful how people around this area would kill someone because they are what the think they shouldnt be. Bryan Higgins I didnt know you but you were lovely, I can sense that. I hope your pain was not long lasting and that your transition if smooth.

It’s a neighborhood convenience store, that apparently has pretty decent sandwiches according to my roommates. I love that I can grab necessities(um, tonic water, lime, cranberry juice) without walking to Safeway. That said, as a convenience store, I pay more. Oh well. It gets the job done when walking five blocks doesn’t sound appealing.

Cute little market. Really nice employees. Just a friendly suggestion: Check the expiration dates before buying.

I stopped into Rosenberg thinking this was a nice Jewish deli, but our sandwiches sadly disappointed. They really should make sure both the lettuce and bread are fresh before serving. And while I’m a glutton for mayo(if one of my vices is mayonaise with resulting high cholestorol and I die-I’ll be OK with that) they put little half-hearted pussycat swipes that you could count i.e. they didin’t come close to cover a single slice. Oh yea, that presse turkey stuff should probably also be repalced with something tastier! I’m not in the business, I’m on the eatin end, but I go back to the places that serve really good food at a good price, not cheap food.

San Franciscans DEMAND excellence in most realms… why, oh why would they settle for this swill? I don’t care how«long» they have been there… this is total crapola, at least! An exotic turkey sandwich with cheese on a dutch-crunch became the most pitiful/anemic/underwhelming/grossly-overrated/one-micro-slice-of-turkey/uno-slice-o-cheese(of some undetermined variety), a bare/swipe of mustard and WAAAAAAY tooooo much BREAD! Dry, boring and unappetizing! These folks ought to be ashamed of themselves. I will N-E-V-E-R cross that threshold again. Period.

A friend and I went to this place after the gym about 2 weeks ago because he had heard good things about it and how great their sandwiches are. I forget what type of sandwich my friend ordered now but it isn’t important. I was going to order after him until I noticed the owner who was minding the shop alone and had just handled cash for a customer, continued making a sandwich w/o washing his hands or wearing gloves. Mind you, touching everything else inbetween, he continued on making my friend’s sandwich. I politely w/o saying anything told my friend that I changed my mind and not hungry anymore and told him about it later when we sat outdoors on the dirty phelgm and dogpoo infested sidewalks of Frisco! He, of course, thinks I’m an OCD’d germophobe and yet he has gotten sick eating in a few places that I won’t mention here but I never have and I thank God for that; maybe my OCD has paid off?! Needless to say that the owner is a nice guy, but probably too jaded to talk or respond to the same’ol same’ol repetitive dumb questions, needs to learn better hygienic manners before another review like mine gets him in trouble with SF’s Health Dept! I wish SFHD enforced all food makers wear gloves and use paper towels, instead of, dingy rags which used to be snow white once!

Attack of the killer tomatoes. Killer as in outstanding. Downtown spot Miss Tomatoes( ) has apparently taken over the sandwich counter. New branded menu. Original Rosenberg staff. No matter what they’re calling themselves these days you’ll be calling the«2-In-Da-Shirt» amazing. Chicken and turkey breast. Mustard. Extras like hummus, lettuce and tomato at no charge. Wheat roll. Cheese if you’d like. Individually there was enough meat for one sandwich. Together it’s one of my new favorites. Especially for just six bucks. Sending praise and thanks to whomever deserves it. And sending you with the highest of lunchtime recommendations.

The old man certainly isn’t overly friendly, but the awesome sandwiches make up for it.

Scanning the reviews, it’s clear other folks have been ripped off by Rosenberg’s variable pricing policy. I’m working on 4 ½ years of taking my money elsewhere.

Holy cow, someone who lives nearby shmokes some hardcore spliff around here. I noticed at first when I had just walked in. looked at their array of interesting beverages and ended up with a Fresh Ginger by Bruce Cost bottle. When I went to pay the sticky icky was even harder hitting. Perhaps this is the way they get folks going in to get the munchies and buy snacks?

maybe I picked the wrong sandwich, maybe it was an off day, but I was pretty un-impressed with the roast beef and cheddar sandwich I got today. I’ll give it a try another day with another kind of sandwich

Yes Please. If your looking for a quick breakfast pick up a couple of bagels with cream cheese tomato and onion for under 5 bucks. The store gets morning light so eat your bagels at the table they have set up outside. The owners and employees are rad. Tony is always quick with a smile and a hello.

So, yes, this is a good place to get sandwiches, I had the hot pastrami today and he makes it just the way you want it. I usually pick something up here every day. From Dog food to TP. The owner is a nice and does appreciate your business. For all those old reviews, don’t pay attention to them. They’ re really old and they have gotten better apparently with new employees etc. They do have their daily special on sandwiches too. Tell them how you like it! Prices are about the same as the one one 15th and Noe.

I love the sandwiches(Turkey and Cranberry on Dutch Crunch!!!) I love the friendly service I love the hours and the location .. . but… I hate the fact that most of the bread I’ve purchased here has been stale I hate the fact that they don’t believe in price tags, and that they charge whatever the hell they want depending on their mood. That’s bullshit. No matter how ‘friendly’ you are.

AVOIDTHISPLACE!!! There’s a reason why nothing has a price tag on it, especially their beer. They just charged me $ 7 for a 22oz of Racer 5… R U kidding? I threw a fit and the owner at the register had no reason for it. It’s deceptive and DIRTY. Shit holes like this dump need to be erased off this earth. Last time I was here, they were chargin $ 20 a six pack because it was pink saturday pride weekend. But on a regular saturday night, guess prices go up if you look like you’re needing some drink action. Fuck this place. DONTCOMEHERE. EVER!!! EVER!!!
