Meet the Business Owner
Anastasia S.
Business Owner
Anastasia is a co-owner of Roots & Stems.
As a teenager, Anastasia worked for a large floral company, and was told to spray paint carnations baby blue for an «It’s A Boy» arrangement. So much about the floral industry frustrated her — the waste, the outsourcing, the old-school design.
For the past five years, she has co-managed Roots & Stems. What started as a backyard project grew into a full-scale warehouse operation with ongoing accounts — catering to brides, hotels, and corporate accounts.
Roots & Stems began in Los Angeles, but in 2014, Anastasia moved north to San Francisco to expand the business to new fronts.
