My SO and I have ordered from Roma’s for YEARS… at least once a week, going on nearly a decade. While something has definitely changed in the last couple months(different cook?), tonight’s racist experience was inexcusable. Called to place our order for delivery as usual, but it was an unknown man, that we’ve never ordered from before, that answered. We inquired about a certain aspect to our order that we always get, and the newbie literally asked the owner, saying in Portuguese, «there’s some stupid American on the phone asking for…» We hung up the phone. This ‘Americano’ happens to be Latin, you jerk. Domingo, your offensive employees with be the death of your business: if your employees are going to racist, at least put the phone on mute. Shame on him, shame on you.

Roma is usually amazing. Seriously they are part if the reason I’m a fatty. I usually talk about you guys with pride, referring you to friends and family. My last 4 orders have been horribly wrong. My pesto crêpe which was supposed to have scrambled egg had over cooked hard boiled egg in it. It had dried egg yolks in the crêpe smeared in with pesto and cheese and left the whites on the outside next to the crêpe. I felt dumb for eating it. That was a really non sensible way to make a substitution. What were you thinking? My order was also missing 2 carrot cakes. Im a very frequent customer of you guys usually. You have amazing food and ingredients and your flavors meld so well but execution and even presentation is not where it should be for quality food like this. I’m a chef who has so much experience in Italian joints like this. Wants some one to come help you turn this around? Call me 4153120645. My name is John

I been order food from here about a year it’s taste really good and the price is good but I guess they changed something in the kitchen or managment because my past 3 orders they did mistakes in my order like add meat that i am vegeterian or not add mushrooms and so on I will think twice before I order food from there again.

Affordable, free-delivery(but I always tip!) Two times I’ve ordered from them. Once at like 1am in the morning for their delivery. Another recent one was a regular work hours. For two people, we’re pretty satisfied with the quality, amount of food, and getting to fill our tummies under $ 30. We usually order: Lasagna, Parmesan Cheese Dinner/Lunch Plate(each plate includes options with Spaghetti, salad, and soup. Get it for the bang of your buck!) ANDMUSTTRYTHEIRGARLICFRIES!!! We’ve tried Mozerella Cheese & Garlic Bread, but I don’t think it’s worth it for the price. :/

Over the course of the last three years I’ve ordered food from Roma Pizzeria intermittently and there was a few times I walked into the store to buy something. Every time the owner was cheerful, nice, had a smile on his face and I finally decided to write a review about it(should’ve done it a long time ago but not really a Unilocaler) to give them five stars. I just ordered pizza tonight and the man on the phone was very cool about adding cheese to my pizza which I forgot to do on Grubhub. In this city, there isn’t a lot of upbeat customer service. You should give credit where credit is due. Thank you Roma Pizzeria for your wonderful customer service. It is appreciated. :)

Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Avocado Sandwich are so tasty! Fries are… meh and so is the Tiramisu cake. The House salad is very fresh. First time eating at this place and it was great. I can’t wait to try their Pizza next time! GrubHub delivery at 12am.

So I ordered from Roma in the past and usually they’re fine. Except tonight. I found a bug in my salad. A big bug. I got a refund through Eat24, but I am so disgusted with the realization that their kitchen is probably dirty as heck(read the other reviews people had similar experiences) that I will probably never order from here again. Stay away for the sake of your health.

last week sometime I gave Roma a great review. My son ordered cornish hen w 2 sides of spaghetti n this is the garbage we received. This is completely unacceptable. A hard, brown, lukewarm week old looking small chicken passed off as a Cornish hen. I’m so disappointed especially because I feel bamboosled. When my son called to let them know that this was all bad and he got no apology and when he asked for a different order they had the nerve to say that will be two dollars more mind you they screwed up by sending us a dirty old bird. I know that this chicken was at least a few days old. When I touched the leg it felt like beef jerky. Roma please respect your clients’ and not play with our intelligence. I know what fresh baked Cornish hens smell like and look like. I will change my review when I get call and an apology

I have had no problem ordering from this restaurant in past experiences but on my most recent experience I found a cockroach run out of my pizza box and didn’t feel like should eat the pizza after this had happened. Otherwise the food was great in the past but I don’t think I’ll be ordering here for a while.

I’ve ordered both pizza delivery on lazy nights and come here after a night of drinking – satisfied on both occasions. Their crust is not too thick which I really appreciate. I really like the Hawaiian. One drunken night, my friend and I asked(who I believe to be) the owner which pizza he thought was best, and he actually made us a custom mix of toppings. So bittersweet that I can’t remember all of them, as the pizza was seriously delicious. I ordered a delivery pizza once at about midnight and then decided to take a quick nap while waiting. Unfortunately my phone was on silent, and the delivery man didn’t ring the doorbell(he didn’t want to wake the neighbors), so it never got delivered. I called the next day to ask about it, and the employee that answered the phone told me he remembered my call and that he would give me a refund. So nice! Thank you! Definitely my go-to for pizza in Excelsior.(sorry Bravo)

I consider myself well versed in the realm of pizza & as for Roma Pizzeria goes it was as average as can be. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and was excited to try out a new place & hopefully find my new favorite pizza place… But sadly i was let down. The pizza itself was very greasy & lacked any flavor. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. This pizza would best be suited as a dollar slice pizzeria.

I made an order through Eat 24 my order delivery time was confirmed to be 45 Mins. However the delivery took an hour and half and when it delivered the food was cold as HELL !!! I would never order food from this place again.

I came here spontaneously for pizza. Parking can be difficult with street parking in the neighborhood with some narrow streets. Mission street is very busy with traffic. I came here in the weekday early afternoon and I was the only person there but there were phone calls coming in with orders. I saw one delivery guy coming in and picking up pizzas. When you come here for food, be sure to ask for the take out menu because on the back has coupons. And we all love coupons! Yah! :-) This is a nice small neighborhood pizza place. I decided to order the Meat Lovers pizza that has sausage, pepperoni, salami and beef. I saw the pizza guy making it and put it in the oven. It is always fun seeing the pizza being made. It took about 15 minutes to make it and during that time I was watching other pizzas being made. There’s a lot of pizza combinations I never heard of before that sounds interesting like the Bad Boy that has chicken, mushrooms, onion, beef, linguica, sausage, bacon and pepperoni or the Sunday Special with toppings like white sauce, Tuna, shrimp, clams, garlic and green olives. I like how the crust is light and not too heavy with dough. The pizza had very light layer of tomato sauce which was fine with me that seemed non existent to me when I was eating it. I am not a fan of tomatoes so this was a plus for me. I enjoyed the crust, not hard or too chewy and was just right. The ingredients I thought were good portion size to the medium pizza. The pizza was flavorable with the toppings. The cashier was nice and thanked me for coming here. If I happen to get lost in this neighborhood again or feel like an adventure, I would come back and be brave to try the Bad Boy combination pizza. Every now and again, don’t we need either a bad boy or bad girl in our life to spice things up a bit? ;-) I am just joking. Sorry I forgot to check in, but I was here though. :-)

Love their pizza. Always our late night go to pizza joint! Never had any problems with the owner or staff — they’re all super sweet. Check them out if you’re in the area — you won’t regret it! :)
