This place is amazing. In the center of the food court there is a fountain with rain. The architecture is spectacular. The high ceilings and historical murals are breathtaking. There is lots of seating. I find this place very spacious, relaxing and serene.

This rating is first off based on their parking lot. I had a * * and a * * * * experience here on consecutive days visiting. My 2 Star experience came with the valet where they handed us keys and told us to get our own car, only to find out they told us they parked our car down the ramp of a lower floor, then we realized they also handed us someone else’s keys. When we returned to have the situation corrected, they weren’t really apologetic and seemed disorganized, and ultimately didn’t have the keys in the intended location where they kept keys, so had to go around and look for the car, for which they keys were probably still in(leaving the car available for possible theft, as it was never secured). They found the car and we got to go on our way. We still had to pay $ 4 to park there for less than 2 hrs with our validation(Yank Sing is $ 4 for 2 hrs, and without validation it’s $ 6 for every 30 mins I think). Overall, a fairly chaotic and disorganized system. My 4 Star experience came shortly thereafter the same week, but on a weekend where they have no valet(whew! thank goodness). The lot became full quickly, but the parking attendant was organized enough to let us wait and then have us proceed rather than turn us away, so that earns them actually 5 Stars, but when we got inside, we realized all of the spaces are pretty tight and hard to maneuver in and out of, which gives the structure itself 2 Stars as a parking location. Inside the Rincon Center are businesses and lots of restaurants, all of which gets between * * * and * * * * on the diversity of the selection. I like the Rincon Center generally. It’s just located in a difficult and congested part of town.

Beautiful Holiday’s decoration. And, the permanent décor is also quite striking, especially the totum pole.

It gets very crowded around 12:15pm. Try to get there early. Avoid Mediterranean place… it’s really not that good.

Nice food court fills the bottom level of this building. Lots of food options with flavors from around the planet, mostly for lunch as far I can tell. With the exception of Yank Sing. There is also a nice out side courtyard area with seating.

This place is so empty now that the Great Entertainer is no more. It was nice just coming down here to play some pool with someone coming around for drinks.

Rincon Center is a convenient place to grab lunch if you are located nearby. There is a large variety of restaurants to choose from– from South African food to Indian, Mexican, classic sandwich/salad fare, and Asian, you definitely have options. I haven’t tried everything here, but have tried most. The restaurants are all okay, but that’s it– just okay. I think you pay the price for the convenience. I like to meet up with friends here so we can pick on the spot… but there’s a trade off in that none of the places are really great. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat at the Rincon Center, but for a FIDI lunch spot it’s a great option if you’re not sure what you’re craving or need a convenient spot to meet someone.

Great waterfall. Please see my individual reviews for information about the specific restaurants.

Besides being in the top ten places to grab lunch in the fi-di, the afternoon/evening Security gentlemen are top notch and above and beyond! I left my wristlet on a chair at lunch, called at the end of the day when I realized it was missing and not only did they have it safe for me, all of my cash, cards etc were inside! They were there to answer the phone and direct me to the right place once I arrived. Chivalry it’s not dead! It feels great to know that when I’m so distracted my the great eats at the RC& leave my purse, the guys will have my back! ;)

TL;DR: Shopping complex that is maybe 2/3rds full. 90% of that is Food. The have a very attractive water sculpture and occasionally a piano player at lunch. I walk through here daily, whether to come get lunch or a snack, or just cutting across the neighborhood. The most prominent feature of the interior of this building is the waterfall from the ceiling. It falls into a large circular pool in the center of the food court area, and is very pleasant. On tuesdays and thursdays from time to time there will be a piano player tapping out some dulcet tones on the ivories. Good way to take a breather while you refuel. There’s a post office, mexican place, cheese steaks, indian, Mediterranean food, Diner/Grill, Chinese, Sandwiches/Wraps; most of what you could want for lunch(Just missing pizza, though apparently there used to be a place here previously). I’ll probably keep coming here for lunch while I work in the area, but certainly wouldn’t make this a destination.

Meh. Looks nice, clean, and wholesome inside. Take a picture of the floor to ceiling fountain. Nas Coffee is special. The rest of the spots remind me of the cheap tasting college food around campus, but twice as expensive. [2*(cost)] + [(+0 taste)] + [(+0 volume)] = [(value)/2] Nope.

I had my wedding reception here :) It was so beautiful with the architecture as well as the amazing waterfall. Those two things sold me. It is quite PRICEY but… it’s worth it if you can spend some more into the venue. The waterfall was a pro and con. Since the space is so vast and echo-y, using the microphone bounces off all the walls and makes it hard for the guests to hear. Also, if the waterfall is going, basically nothing is heard. I loved the way my pictures turned out and with a lighting company, you can soften the walls and the lighting inside. Thanks Rincon!

This glorious building was formerly a post office. You can still see the postal windows. WPA era murals grace the walls. They alone deserve 5 stars. Primarily we have come here for dim sum at Yank Sing. There are other restaurants here but I haven’t explored them. The atrium/lobby where the restaurants are housed is enlivened by a waterfall-like fountain that falls from the high ceiling to a large circle in the floor. It’s beautiful and peaceful.

I suppose the highlight of this place is the guy who plays piano. There’s not much variety by Embarcadero and everything is obscenely expensive. Expect to pay a minimum of $ 8 for lunch. The breakfast burritos at Pepe’s are the hidden gem here. Between around 7am — 10 am they got $ 4.25HUGE full size breakfast burritos. The chorizo breakfast burrito is extremely delicious. Sometimes I’ve bought the breakfast burrito just to save for lunch! It’s that good and much more affordable than the rest of the dreck they call food here.

Absolutely gorgeous especially the water fountain that falls from the ceiling to the floor. Was brought here by my one and only older sister after I picked her up from work. We had Thai food located right inside I believe I had a. Chicken Pad Thai it wasn’t bad. Then I went to get me a sweet treat to share with my sister at the Yocup located right inside as well. If you are stressed out from work this is a nice place to escape to. Serene environment, sometimes they even have a mini farmers market inside as well. Just remember I think they kinda close too early at times.

An amazing variety of different cuisines in one building, lovely. I used to work 2 blocks from here, and when in doubt come to rincon. A little something something, from dim sum to indian. What’s up with that shower looking fountain thing? I walked into it a couple of times, and when it comes to the FiDi lunch crowd, well let’s just say. It was very embarrassing. How exactly do you explain to your boss as to why you are completely drenched and your mascara is smeared all over your face? Yeah, thought so. I often thought about pulling a stunt before leaving california and bringing a robe, hair cap, loofa, soap and taking an impromptu fully clothed shower session during the lunch time rush hour. :Sigh: I wish I had made this happen before I left. Nonetheless, a great one stop shop.

The only real reason I can think of to stop by for lunch is that it is right across the street from my workplace– the convenience is key. Otherwise, this is really nothing more than a suburban mall’s food court plunked into the Financial District, with the prices to match(and balk at). Sorabol is to be avoided(eeeh, greasy noodles), but the other ethnic options are OK lunch fare. If you can actually hear the live music over the rush of the indoor waterfall and crowd noise, then your ears are something else…

The food court here is pretty mediocre if not worse. The«ethnic» food is not very«ethnic». It is not that affordable either, considering it is a food court and take-out. I’d recommend skipping it, unless its out of convenience or time. However, one cool thing is that there is LIVEMUSIC on Tuesdays outside in the courtyard from 12p — 1p! What better way to relax on your lunch break then listening to some live music that’s actually pretty good! Now that I LIKE!

I absolutely love the Rincon Center. There are just so many layers to this onion — Yank Sing, YoCup, Taqueria Pepes, Sorabol, the adjacent Post Office, the lovely central patio, the stunning indoor waterfall, live music on Tuesdays at noon — the list goes on and on. It’s a popular place for lunch, attracting everyone from FiDi workers to SOMA residents and their kids. I love this place because it’s a beautiful place to hang out and there’s something for everyone.

It is an absolutely beautiful food court with PLENTY(and I mean plenty) of food options. If you haven’t been here before then I suggest you go, preferably for lunch. It has such a relaxing feel for it, and you can even go to ‘people watch’ if that’s your thing. It is a great place to spend a beautiful SF afternoon. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because the parking garage only allows valet, which I personally do not like, but whatever … I’ll still give the place 4 stars. * Note: A MUST try while you’re there is Yank Sing. Their dim sum is the BEST! *
