Description

Specialties

I provide simple solutions for complex problems through functionally based chiropractic and manual therapy, nutritional support, and corrective exercise.

Among my specialties, recently, I became the first DC in California to be certified in Mulligan Concept manual therapy.

This elegant approach diagnoses and treats pain and dysfunction within the movement or activity in which it is experienced, often by correcting joint or muscle alignment in weight bearing. This can result in an immediate relief from pain, increased range and/or quality of movement, and provides the basis for creating a perfect supportive exercise and self-treatment for your condition, while cutting your recovery time in half.

Tennis elbow, rotator cuff problems, sprained ankles, knee pain, hip pain and limited range of motion, muscle strains, wrist pain, and vertigo, are just some of the conditions that are effectively treated with this powerful approach, and neck and back problems can be corrected without a pop!

History

Established in 1990.

Over the years, I have enjoyed practicing in solo and group settings, alongside and in collaboration with acupuncturists, medical doctors, Tibetan medicine practitioners, psychotherapists, podiatrists, massage therapists, naturopaths, and other chiropractors.

Meet the Business Owner

Richard H.

Business Owner

As a healer, I have always felt that as a patient, you and your ails are unique, and in order for true healing to take place, you must be seen and treated in that way.

In my 20 plus years of practice and beyond, I have kept my approach open, inquiring, broadening, deepening, and refining my skill base, and calling from many forms of treatment to appropriately match what the body is calling for in order to heal. In addition to my Chiropractic training, through my studies and, more importantly, practice of Osteopathic and Manual Therapy, Tai Chi and Chi Kung, Feldenkrais movement, and mindfulness, the common goal is always increasing function and increasing awareness, and the seamless integration of the body and the mind, on my own journey as a practitioner, and in you, my patients, though your participation in your return to wholeness.
