Rezvan Perera of Rezvan Beauty in San Francisco has been giving me massages and facials for years. I travel all the way across town to see her. She is an amazing person both personally and professionally. Her facials are by far the best I have had and her massages are strong and relaxing. I am a massage connoisseur and can say with confidence that Rezzie ranks amongst the best. She frequently has great specials too making the treatments very affordable. I cannot recommend Rezzie enough.

I found Rezvan through a friend. I was going through some crazy times. Prior to my visit to this 3rd floor Union St. shop I had never heard of Reiki or the spa. I have had the pleasure of having my energy«realigned» through Reiki sessions with Rezvan herself. Initially I thought it was kind of bogus as I can be a skeptic. But man, it was a wonderful and different experience. I recommend the spa treatments as well as the Reiki sessions.

Rezvan Perera of Rezvan Beauty in San Francisco, is a top-notch aesthetician AND Reiki Master! I came to her one weekday afternoon after a stroke of bad luck– I needed to be pampered with one of her amazing facials. Rezvan has a wonderful energy about her; she’s the type of person you find yourself telling your life story to. After my facial she suggested I try a Reiki session with her as she felt my «energy was off.» I’d never experienced Reiki before, so why not? We arranged the session for five days later. During that time, I researched Reiki so I could familiarize myself with the basics. I learned that Reiki is a Japanese technique that promotes healing, relaxation and stress reduction. I’d heard about it but never exactly knew what it entailed. I was really looking forward to my session. Rezvan had me relax in a special room that had a window overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and the bay. As the session began, she gently pressed me in the center of my body along my heart and stomach all while doing very special breathing of her own. At certain points, I could feel hot energy being released from my body on to her hands. After a good hour of this relaxing process, I lay on the table to collect my thoughts and emotions as the Reiki session definitely released them. Overall, I felt calm, at peace and not nearly as stressed as I’d been in the days beforehand. My first experience with Reiki was extremely positive and I look forward to giving it another go. Reiki is a really nice treat when you’re feeling low energy or perhaps just under the weather. And Rezvan definitely knows what she’s doing!

On the third floor of a Union Street Victorian. I’ve only been for nail services(which are no longer offered), and they are more known for facials, so this is more of a review of the space/service. This place is nice, but not spectacular. It’s warmy decorated like a comfy house and does have some comfy sofas and magazines in the waiting area. The staff can be just as rude as they are friendly(I guess it depends on what kind of day they are having). It’s one of the city’s older spas, so they may not offer the latest and greatest services, but they do offer years of experience. Their facials are on the pricey side for spas of this caliber. They offer Dr. Grandel, MD Formulations and Anna Sui products.

I’ve only been here for the nail services. Urania Campos has 20+ years of experience. She is very thorough and friendly. She will address any special needs you may have. She actually gave me French tips that I actually liked. My Mom liked her too and she goes to Oakland to get her nails done. Rezvan does all the facial/body treatments. She also has two massage therapists(one who specializes in medical/sport injury). They are located on the 3d Floor. Check them out
