WINE: Smaller is Better

We believe very strongly that the more personal a wine is to the winery, the better it tastes. That relationship is only enhanced by how few barrels the winemaker is making, and how precious those barrels are to him or her. We see the bigger guys offering very nice wines, but never quite getting to that «wow» point where we feel comfortable serving them. Truly artisan wines are what we seek, and we have found with the little guys. All of our 120-​ish wines are available to-​go, with a revolving door of tasting flights and wines-​by-​the-​glass.

BEER: Always Fresh, Local and Awesome

At Resolute, we work hard to maintain the right conditions for beer to taste its best. Our beers are direct from local start-​up breweries. Thus the beers come out super fresh, and damn near perfect in every way. We promise to never sell old, stale or boring beer. Just the fresh, tasty stuff.

History

Established in 2015.

Started in the wake of a fire (the wine bar where Dan and Justin met burned to the ground) Resolute is the vision of Justin Beem and Daniel Brooker — a wine shop and bar where delicious wines, local, fresh beers dominate in a Tenderloin «oasis.»

We want to share with you wines and beers that are super personal to the winemakers and brewmasters.

Our wines are served in flights, glasses and bottles (both to-​go and for in-​house). We are here for you on your first dates and last dates, for your wine shopping needs, for your after-​work-​hard-​earned-​beer needs and of course for your passion for cheese and cured meats!
