By offering acupuncture in addition to craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, herbal medicine, and nutrition, I am able to address a wide range of health conditions and address the root of a person’s problem in an integrative, foundational way. Doing so brings them back into balance, out of pain/illness, with increased energy and functionality in their lives.
I offer a comprehensive treatment plan which is individualized for each patient. Everybody has a unique health history, constitution, and life experience that is as unique as their fingerprint.
I provide compassionate, holistic medical care using the tools of acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition and bodywork based in Asian and osteopathic techniques. Asian techniques such as guasha and cupping are used, and the gentle yet effective bodywork techniques of craniosacral therapy and lymphatic drainage are incorporated as well.
I am a nationally board certified herbalist with an in-house herbal dispensary.

History
Established in 2003.
From 2004 – 2013, my clinic was located at 1452 Valencia Street in San Francisco. In 2013, there was a fire and I moved to my current address.
I attended the oldest college of acupuncture in the U.S., the New England School of Acupuncture in Boston, MA, one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the field and received my Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2003. It was there that I also studied craniosacral therapy extensively, in class and with my mentor.
I hold the further distinction of being a nationally certified Diplomate in Herbal Medicine, Oriental Medicine, and Acupuncture (NCCAOM). I have continued my education in manual therapies, training in lymphatic drainage through the Upledger Institute.
I was an acupuncturist at Quan Yin Healing Arts Clinic 2004 – 5. I volunteered for three years as an acupuncturist/herbalist at the Charlotte Maxwell Complimentary Clinic in San Francisco, a free clinic for low income women with cancer

I was inspired to study Traditional Chinese Medicine after successful treatment of severe asthma in my 20s with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. At the time, I worked in public health as a smoking cessation counselor and also had worked for several years in various counseling positions in residential programs, helping people (youth to adults) who had mental, physical and emotional challenges.
I was drawn to learn craniosacral therapy after having this treatment for injuries after a car accident. The craniosacral work restored mobility to my neck and back in a way that chiropractic hadn’t accomplished.
Learning these healing modalities was a natural extension of my interest and passion for helping people. Traditional Asian medicine does not separate out the emotional from the physical as Western medicine does. I can work in a holistic manner, treating the whole person and bringing them into balance while using an integrated approach.
