CVC sells high-​quality, lightweight recumbent trikes and bikes.

By appointment, we work with the rider to find the best product for their riding needs and wants.

We service and support the trikes and bikes we sell to you. We can accessorize product lines we sell with items like stationary trainers, racks, trunk bags, mirrors, computers, horns, lights, trailers, fenders, motors…

We schedule test rides daily by appointment: usually about an hour long so we can show you how to ride and try a few models based on our assessment. We need to know your height, weight and riding dreams.

History

Established in 1995.

We started with recumbents in 1995 because we could not find a location in the Bay Area to test ride or even see one. We felt if someone was going to spend around $ 2000 on a recumbent they should be able to test ride it.

Over the years we have come to see that recumbent tadpole trikes are the preferred ride about the Bay Area. Tadpole trikes are always balanced, so you can ride as slowly as you like up a hill and the trike performs like a tractor. You can even stop and rest and restart without having to go down the hill and start again or get off and walk up.

We sell more trikes than 2-​wheel recumbents to those who participate in long rides like the 535-​miles annual AIDs ride, Tour for the Cure, centuries… We also have a number of buyers who are car-​free so they use their trikes for commuting and for pleasure.
