Specialties
I provide school-year tutoring and summer skill-development for middle and high school-aged children. I learn from parents and students about their wishes and concerns, and work with students on assignments, building analytical reading and writing skills
History
Established in 2009.
I have helped run a tutoring center at a public university for over 20 years, and have done occasional private tutoring. As my own kids get older, I have more time to devote to individual students.

Business Owner
20 plus years of teaching reading and writing, as well as supervising and teaching tutors; varied experience with K-12 students, including developing a curriculum for and teaching kids who were homeschooled, developing a Writing Workshop program for bilingual 4th and 5th graders, and working with my own children; M.A. in TESOL and MFA in fiction.
