I’ve been in a handful of times. Their calzones are good and a decent deal considering they are pretty big and cost only 3.99. I’ve had a couple of their sandwiches too and they are pretty good. Everytime I’ve been the staff has always been friendly.

Funny! this store was featured in Paris video, The Days of Old back in 1992. Good old school hip hop!

We live across the street from R&T Market. The family who run the place are incredibly nice. They have really improved the store and the stock since they took over from Tony, who had run the place for over 30 years. I have lunch from there at least 3 days a week. Ramsey makes great sandwiches, especially the hot roast beef. Mom’s hummus is very good too. On New Year’s Day, they hosted a bbq for the neighborhood. They also have found and returned my dog at least 3 times when a friend has accidentally left the door to our house open. Anything I have needed that they did not stock they have added to their stock just because I asked for it once. We are very happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Living a few doors down I’ve gotten to know the owners a little bit, and they’re very cool. I’ve forgotten my wallet and they’ve let me pay later(obviously you’d have to get to know them I think!) the hard alcohol prices are a little too high(would anyone ever buy a full large bottle here?), and i really liked it when they always had a beer special of something good. The Speakeasy promo was awesome! Definitely reccomended for Potrero Hill residents

okay, there are a few things here. let’s start with the good. it’s all good if you’re in dire need of beer and a bag of chips or something and you live on the hill. the downside, though, is that the bag of chips may very well have a quarter inch of dust on it. but it’s still chips. moving along; like a lot of other liquor stores in the city, the dude that works there(i’ve only ever seen one guy working there, so i assume he’s the proprietor as well) is not very personable. be prepared to examine the cash register to see how much you owe him, because even if he decides to tell you, he’s going to mumble like a mother fucker and you’ll never be able to decipher it. i would not trust the deli meats, or much else going on in here. this place serves it’s purpose as a repository for booze for you to come get at average prices. oh, and i’ve never seen the atm in there in working order… no rats though!
