It’s like getting your mani/​pedi done by your auntie at Quince. The ladies are all really kind and do a good job. It’s clean and they offer good hours.

Been going here for years and I can’t believe I haven’t written about them yet!
This is my FAVORITE place to get my bi-​monthly pampering. Always the gel mani and a regular pedi. Designs by Leticia are creative and cute. Show her a picture and she pretty much can figure out how to do it.
Some other services I get there are waxes and eye lash extensions. Can’t tell you how beautiful my lashes are now. Seriously, I save 10 – 15 minutes off my morning routine because of it. Very professional and just sweethearts here.
They are even there for me when I wanted to plan a pre-​wedding get together for the bride to be. I brought little sandwiches, snacks and mimosas. They helped me serve it up and we felt like royalty. Great way to start the wedding weekend! Very accommodating and the service is impeccable.
Make an appointment to be sure they reserve a spot for you. They do get quite busy on the weekends.

There are so many nail salons in this city — I’ve definitely experienced better and won’t bother coming back.
Pedicure is in a metal tub lined with a garbage bag. Weird, interesting, convenient for staff to clean up, sure. But, the water is not very warm for the customer.
One of my toes still hurts to this day after getting a pedicure 1 week ago because the pedicurist cut some skin a little deep. Worrisome, and NOT acceptable.
Overall shape of nails is un-​noteworthy and the service itself is not exceptional or redeeming for any of the other slights.
Salon is very cold, probably the same temperature as outside! Everyone was wearing their puffy coats.
Again, there are too many other places to go to have this many negatives, so don’t come out of your way to go here for services unless you like, live in the unit above their building or something.
And yes, the laundry machine was out and on too. Weird!

This review has been long overdue. I’ve been going to Quince spa for over a year and I absolutely love this place. I go at least once a month to do my gel mani and pedi, and it literally last me 3 – 4 weeks, which is pretty good since I am a hairdresser and I’m always working with water and color. Jen and her staff are amazing, they give exceptional customer service and every time I’m there, it’s very relaxing, the way a nail spa should be. They remember the colors I always get and always recommend new colors or trends that’ll fit me. I definitely recommend this nail salon, you will not be disappointed!

Hands down my favorite mani pedi spot in San Francisco. I get gel nails done by Quince every two weeks and every time I leave in love with my nails. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. And quick if you are short on time! It’s also easy to get an appointment at the day & time you want and parking is usually super easy to find.

Overall, I was able to enjoy my massage because the masseuse was nice, talented and apologetic. However, I would not go back to this spa for a number of reasons:
— The stones for my hot stone massage were not hot enough during the first half the massage. She left in the middle of the massage to investigate the problem and ask someone, but no one helped
— The room was so tiny that the masseuse could barely walk around, and on top of that, the table kept moving
— I was expecting a no frills type massage; however, it was extremely loud. The whole time, I could hear laundry and staff laughing loudly in the back room
— When I checked in, no one told me how long the wait would be, and it started 15 min late. When I left, no one from Quince was at the desk to give feedback

The shop is comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I work at a winery and Tracey put a lot of effort into restoring my destroyed cuticles and nails — thank you! Also, ample parking, a rarity in SF

My friend Ruth and I know this place to be the quickest mani/​pedi near work… which is a great thing for when we can get away for a longer lunch!
The staff is friendly and professional, I always feel happier when I leave than before I came in. This last visit, I felt the manager really pushed and talked me into a color I didn’t really like but my friend also urged that it was lovely. Well, I really just didn’t feel it and after spending $ 40 plus tip I decided it was worth going back to for changing the color. The staff recognized us and didn’t flinch when I explained I didn’t like my color. They changed it promptly and charged us half since we had been there the day before. Definately a good move considering how we will be repeat customers for sure.
Really easy to walk in for a daytime mid week service. Decent price, relaxed and professional staff, and nice colors (including Shellac, of course!).
I’ll be back!

A solid pedicure, clean and pretty tidy. We did have to wait for a bit, but it was worth it. This is a clean and very cute spa in a pretty quiet area of the Dogpatch/​Potrero Hill. I took my boyfriend and even he loved it! I’ve heard they also do good massages. Prices here are definitely a little higher than other areas of the city, but it’s worth it in terms of ambiance. I only removed one star because one of the massage chairs was broken so I couldn’t sit next to my boyfriend and we did have to wait about 30 minutes before they could get started.

I got my 2nd Brazilian here and it went really well. The woman who waxed me was really nice and hella funny which makes the experience less painful and I guess maybe less awkward haha.
The place itself is super cute and everyone who works there was friendly. Will be back :)

Just came back from a hot stone massage with Steven cuz I had a Groupon. I was quite impressed. The place itself is huge, clean and located right off the freeway. There’s free street parking out front.
Steven was professional and told me ahead of time what to expect during the hot stone massage. It was very relaxing and definitely worth my $$ for a 90 min massage.
Jennifer was also very professional when I scheduled an appt with her in the phone and she was nice to chat with about their promos right before I left.

They are very customer service oriented and super convenient. I love to get my pedicure there and my hair cut. It’s not a super fancy high end expensive salon but it’s nice, clean, efficient and reasonably priced.

I just moved to the neighborhood, and am happy to have found Jennifer and Leticia, and the entire team at Quince. They provide a great experience, and a high level of customer service. Leticia even does cute nail designs (my guilty pleasure!). The gel mani I got lasted very well, no peeling despite going on vacation and lots of swimming in the ocean. I look forward to getting my regular mani/​pedis at Quince!

Personable, super flexible with scheduling. And they took their time doing everything. Wasn’t rushed at all.
I had the Vinylux pedi & a gel mani.
They are really clean! The pedi was soaked in a covered basin. (as opposed to those spa chairs with where everyone puts their feeties in at other nail salons)
Also, this place wasn’t pungent with the smell of acetone. Like at other salons, yaw’m sayin?
Anyways, would def come back. No negatives for me!

I should have written this update a lot sooner– whoops! Better late than never…? :)
Jennifer, manager of Quince Spa, responded to my Unilocal review and message, and she was the sweetest, most accommodating manager ever! She was very apologetic and assured me that she would take care of me.
I decided to give Quince another try and got a gel manicure done from Quinn, who is really good! She’s very meticulous and knows what nail polish goes best with your skin type. She also agreed that Jennifer was amazing and that she stocks Quince Spa with the highest quality products (e.g., nail polish, base coat, top coat, dry coat, etc.). Even though Quince Spa has several «cheaper» alternatives, Quinn said that Jen is adamant about keeping her products up to standard and won’t compromise quality. That was really good to hear from a Quince Spa employee.
In any case, I gave Quinn a big tip and will probably return again.

Made an appointment, arrived on time, and had to wait 45 minutes because they were running late.
Got a vinylux mani-​pedi. The woman doing my nails couldn’t give two shits about her shitty application. I could have done my nails way better.
I pointed out the little fibers she’s getting on my nails, the missed spots, the bumps, etc. she didn’t care, and made it worst when she tried to fix it. I have an uneven coat with bumps and missing corners.
There’s no fan or anything to help speed up the process. She made me sit there for an hour and wouldn’t let me use my phone. Said I’ll ruin the polish.
I am almost too embarrassed to go out with this mani.
No thanks. Would not come back.

I really wanted to like Quince Spa as it has convenient parking, looks clean, and has easy access from 280.
I went in for a $ 30 No-​Chip Vinylux manicure that was hideous Here is a summary of my manicure:
–a couple of nails were oval and a few others were square shaped
–a few of the nails has two coats of polish and a few others had three
–several nails had air bubbles
–two of the nails were polished extremely far from cuticle (see picture)
–the top coat was old and the nails did not have a smooth finish
I messaged the spa but never received a response.
When I met up with my girlfriends, they immediately zeroed in on my hideous looking manicure… at least the $ 30 (plus $ 5 tip) No-​chip Vinylux manicure was good for laughs!
The other plus is that the Vinylux polish can be removed with regular polish remover.

After going to different local nail salons to find the best fit for me I have finally found the one! :) Yes it’s that important to me to be able to go into a nail salon and just feel comfortable and know they will do a great job as well!
I received a gel mani and regular pedi. I believe Quinn was the lady who did a fabulous job on my French manicure. I was so happy and relaxed when I left, I even forgot about my free paraffin treatment :-/​haha
