I’m probably one of the oldest quiksilver shoppers at 35 but who cares I still love the clothing. Not a hipster and never will be. I always love the surfer look and style. The service is always good. I don’t shop often but when I do I come here for hoodies, tee, s shorts and shoes since the DC store is a part of quiksilver.

Bought an item in-store and later found it on their site for a much cheaper price… service was good though.

Love that there’s a little piece of SoCal/Hawaii in the middle of Union Square where all of us who grew up in Roxy/Quiksilver, wore skate shoes, and did our hmwk at the beach can shop! It’s definitely more of a clothing store, so if you’re looking for gear, this is not the place. But they are very up-to-date with what they have and I have found all of the newest releases at this location(great because I can’t find them anywhere else in the city). All of the staff is super friendly and my dog is welcome too!

Thanks to Unilocal for helping me find a store for bathing suit options. I have a trip to Vegas coming up in the near future and as a girl that hates bikini bottoms and also hates one piece suits, I knew I needed to find some decent swim shorts to go with my current bikini top. Unilocal and Google led me to Quiksilver and fortunately we have a store right here in the city. I headed down today on my bike to check out their options. There’s some pretty awesome clothes and the prices were actually quite reasonable(at least at the items I looked at). Maybe I’m used to big name brand stores having hugely inflated prices(at least in the Union Square/downtown area) but I saw some interesting clothes at decent prices. Interestingly, I found shorts that fit exactly what I wanted very quickly, which is hilarious because it took me at least a half hour to find such things on various bathing suit websites. I also tried on a few pants and checked out some sweaters, but given my upcoming trip and the expense, I figured I’d hold back on any extra spending(although I’m thinking I might go back and check out one of the sweaters I saw since it might be really neat for warmish weather). The two guys working in there today were definitely nice, friendly and helpful. I made my purchased and was wished a great day when I headed out. I’ll definitely be back, possibly this week to check out that sweater!

Been to this location twice, and always found good stuff on sale! First time I came wondering in here to kill some time and found a cute tee with the roxy logo but it was specified to San Francisco… it was on sale WITHANADDITIONAL50% off ~ came out to about $ 7 for a tee. score! Just came in here again over the weekend when my friend wanted to find a gift — something with the SF logo but w/o being too cheesy or cheap… and it was getting late on a Sunday, but luckily this location was open till 7pm on a Sunday! Picked up a sweatshirt with the SF roxy logo, it was on sale WITHADDITIONAL50% again, for $ 14! score! The store is bit on a smaller side so the inventory may be bit more limited but staff is friendly and I’ve never had a problem with not finding something i wanted.

Just visiting for some last minute xmas shopping. 5 stars for employees and customer service! Slight bummer that this store is not big enough to offer youth selection for the little gromms and wahines. Sadly I had to go to Macy’s for the sizes I needed; for a picked over selection. Store has a great location right in dt Union Square, park at the structure… it was only $ 7 for 2 hours!

this store is legit… roxy has come a long way from the days when I used to wear it in grammar school. In fact I feel like it has been growing up with me. I will agree with the other reviewer that the store is pretty light on actual action sport clothing but I think that is because this store is a lifestyle store… not a sporting goods store. It’s for the clothes you wear when you’re not doing your fave action sport. They definitely need to add more though… they lack a kids section like the one in South Coast Plaza. A DC store next to it or somewhere in San Francisco wouldn’t hurt either. The people who work here are awesome and never hesitate to make you feel like you’ve known them for ages! If you’re lucky you might run into one of the sponsored riders as they have been known to stop by from time to time.

I have a soft spot in my heart(and closet) for surfer and skater clothes. I think part of it is from growing up in LA. The other part is I just like the colors and patterns most often associated with this type of wardrobe. I’m in a desperate search for a bathing suit. Heading to «the islands» in 10 days and not owning a bathing suit that fits means I will have to swim naked or keep one hand on my ass every time I jump out of the pool. Although doing the latter doesn’t bother me(and in fact sounds fun), I’d prefer to have options. After scouring the city and being stopped with«no we don’t have any left» or «guuuuurl, you shoulda been up in here in June… we had some things that woulda looked great on you» everywhere I turned, I finally found myself in Quik Silver and was pleasantly surprised to see a small rack at the back with trunks. They don’t have the largest selection in the world, but I did find one pair I realllly like that’s actually in my size(waist size 52, if you’re curious). Only problem is someone drew a line with a pen on the bootie. I showed it to the manager and she was really apologetic and told me I could get a discount(and also wrote down the serial number so I can look it up online and try to order it from there). As a store, I think the prices are a bit much for some items… but due to my lack of planning, I’m willing to pay it this time around. You know how Bubbe’s saying goes: Jew me once, shame on you. Jew me twice, shame on me.

i bought a jacket here. i love it to death. i’ve worn it so much i’m pretty sure people won’t recognize me without it. the staff is welcoming as i stepped in. and they were pretty helpful. there’s a lot of nice clothing here. but it’s not my usual spot or style. after some doubtful browsing. i was about to head out and then i saw that jacket. i had to do a double take. i knew i had to have it. it’s mine

i stopped in here yesterday because i saw they had bathing suits. the bathing suits they had were ok, basically the same thing i saw at pac sun last week. the store seemed pretty tiny and there were about 3 people working there. i thnk they were bored because they were all super overly friendly all asking me one right after another if i needed help. they were nice though. i dont think the store was expensive.

This is like Quiksilver and Roxy lite. As in there are almost no sport activity related clothing to be found in the store. But there IS a lot of trendy casual wear.* At EXORBITANT prices. Meh. I’ve found lots of their stuff on the cheap at Ross. One extra star because I found a cute Roxy shirt here. That I paid $ 18 for. I’m not entirely sure it’s worth it so that should tell you something. *Trendy if you’re from SoCal or Hawaii.

I was glad to hear that San Francisco was finally getting a Quiksilver store. Tired of going to Macy’s to find a shanty selection of QS gear, most of it spread out and difficult to find. The store is really nice and you can’t miss the big red Mountain& Wave logo from Powell, just a block down from Union Square. The staff is friendly, although a bit too aggressive on pushing a sale, but some may like that type of salesmanship. No snowboarding/skiing gear, or water-proof winter wear which is no good. No wetsuits, although I don’t know of many surfers going to downtown for that. Good boardshort selection, and a few jackets worth checking. All in all, a good addition to the downtown scene.
