I hate how they essentially force you to pay 10 cents for a bag unless you’re eating your snack right away. Whether you order chicken or fries, they fill the up but it’s inconvenient to carry around given that oil will seep through. They holler like CRAZY if you don’t walk up to your order right away. Like chill woman!

Their mini corn dogs are $ 4.50 each(not including tax). I mean they’re good but it’s only 6 for that much $$. I wish they’d give more for that price. I’m pretty sure I can buy a full bag of em at that price. Besides that this place has some more pretty good looking snacks though & I’ll most likely still try those: b

Not planning on coming back here for lunch. There isn’t much flavor in the popcorn chicken or fried tofu. There’s a lot of salt & pepper though(lol). The prices are ridiculous too. Two stars only because the milk tea isn’t TOO bad. Y’all needa work on quality though.

Ehhh, I’ve been here a couple times and I would say that everything depends on the day. They’re not very consistent when it comes to the quality. I have gotten the spam musubi a couple times and sometimes it’s really good, whereas other times it’s just okay. Same with the honey green tea, sometimes it’s just right and sometimes it’s really watered down. Service is okay. They work fast enough to keep the line moving, which is good because college students can get haaaaangry. I mean, this is the closest boba place around if you want a quick fix but there definitely are better boba places if you’re willing to travel.

I need to come back here for popcorn chicken! Came here around 6 before heading to the library and there was a lot of people waiting, but ordering was super quick. Got two drinks and my order of popcorn chicken and I swear, this was the fastest quickly’s I ever encountered. Got my chicken and drink under three minutes. Customer service was fine for me and the workers were not snobby like other locations. Their popcorn chicken is not loaded with batter, which is AMAZING! I ordered it for the chicken, not the fried stuff so for those who love batter and grease and fat, you should probably stick with KFC or chicken tenders from another food vendor on campus. *Having worked in the food industry, if you treat the workers with respect and not a RBF, it makes a difference. #justsaying

I rarely ever buy lunch on campus. I usually bring lunch from home everyday, but today I thought I’d give myself a treat and buy some popcorn chicken from #Quickly behind the student center. I only have a ½ hour lunch. Ordered at 12:41, they didn’t have it ready until 12:59. I have to be back at my desk at 1pm. They must’ve lost my order because everyone else got their food pretty quickly and when I inquired, I could see them trying to find my ticket. «One more minute», she said. Sure, why not, I’ve already waited 18 minutes. Quickly worked very #slowly #quicklyisnotquick #fail #sfsu

It is nice to have a Quickly’s on campus. The service seems to be lacking but hey what do expect from a cheap fast food joint run by fobbish college kids that don’t care much about customer service?! I don’t expect much when I come here because I only opt for it when I am hungry during class and need to grab a bite to eat during my break. So far I have had the lobster balls, mozerella sticks, and popcorn chicken: all of which are consistently delicious. The fact that they are cash only bugs me a lot because I rarely ever carry cash on me. I’m sure they are losing many customers. The Grubhub app works but it is not quite accurate on pickup time. Overall I would have to say this place is just OK, save yourself the trouble and go for something else if you are looking for a quick snack. The prices are definitely a little higher just b/c the location is on a college campus. :/

Craved for Asian food so we went to this place. We tried first their takoyaki. It seems really tasty at first but after a few bites on it, the taste went good — not good. Well, atleast the taste was good at first. Would think twice when coming here.

They’re nice to have on campus just for the convenience of satisfying any snack or milk tea cravings, but don’t expect anything fantastic. Like all Quicklys, the food and drink is just your typical cheap fast food fare. Except it isn’t really cheap here. The prices are definitely higher than regular Quicklys just because it’s on campus. That alone is enough turn me off and just curb my tea cravings. As far as drinks, the regular sweetness level here wasn’t of diabetic proportions, so no worries there. The downside is that they’re stingy about the amount of toppings they give, even though they’re already charging $ 0.70 extra for it. The cashier was friendly and sweet! This can’t compare to other Quicklys since it’s just a campus location, but it’ll do if you want a fried snack or milk tea on campus.

There is nothing quick about this quickly. I only have ever liked one of the cashiers. Most of them have conversations with their coworkers while you order. Today, I ordered a large, hot Earl Grey milk tea, no boba and popcorn chicken. She literally interrupted me 3 times while I was placing the order just to talk to the chef in the back about god knows what. What I ended up getting was a regular iced honey milk tea with boba and popcorn chicken. How the hell do you get an order THAT wrong? The line was so long, I couldn’t even correct it without creating a nuisance for everyone else. Not to mention that this Quickly is twice as expensive as a majority of Quicklys. If this wasn’t the only place on campus with boba that wasn’t totally terrible, no one would go here. No wonder the tip jar is frequently empty.

This place is not bad but it isn’t good either. The food here is decent good to grab something and munch on it in class. Due to it being the only boba place on or close to campus the line gets long quickly. The boba is not good but if you need to fix your craving on campus this will do.

It is a travesty that anyone would give this establishment anything less than 3 stars. Let’s get this straight, this spot is on campus. You probably did not come here because it’s the most gourmet meal ever. You came here because either 1) you are hungry and wanted something to eat during your break 2) because all the cool people are there 3) you did not want to enter the Student Union or walk off campus. You knew when you ordered that popcorn chicken, fries, and everything else fried that it was going to be «fried». That kind of name for a certain type of food does not scream out SALAD, but that’s just me. Having said that, you probably went back for a second or third or fourth time didn’t you? I am an avid customer of Quickly all over the city, and I must say, this is one of the better ones. They actually mix their drinks correctly and does not leave that powdery(yes, it’s powder, not natural for those thinking it’s some kind of magical fruit from nature) taste at the end of the cup. Do I agree that the service can be a little off, yes. Having said that, did you really come here for the service also? My only complaint is that they did not really need to inflate the prices that much. It’s actually quite ridiculous if you ask me. 75 cents for add ons? That’s almost a joke. Having said that, come here if you have an hour+ worth of a break, and you’ll be fine!

It’s a Quickly’s franchise, commonly characterized by subpar to average snacks and tapioca drinks, and Chinese employees. Five star customer service will not be found here, bubs. Anyways, I ordered an Earl Grey MT. It tasted like water but the pearls were soft and chewy.

food: 2⁄5 typical quicklys service: 0⁄5 I came here with a friend and was surprised they have a quicklys on a state campus. anyway, every time I passed by there is a long line. But the line goes pretty fast. All the prices are EXTREMELY inflated here. A regular milk tea is 50 cents more expensive than all Quicklys I have been to and all the food is more expensive too. I guess they are charging for the convenience and the fact that is is on a college campus. The cashier was aloof, the place seems to be staffed by fobby college girls who don’t give a cr*p. I’m not a SFSU regular, so this is a one time review. But my friend says that all the people who work there are horrible.

Quickly, get it together. The food is ok. It’s fried and quick… I’m not expecting an amazing experience but my goodness, can the customer service get any more horrible? Honey, you are at work. I have class in 15 mins. Get off your phone and take my order then continue texting or playing candy crush. But no serious, every time I walk to the window, I have to wait for the girls to get off their phone or I stand through one of their conversations. I keep going for the warm Milk Honey tea. It gets cold at night and I don’t do coffee.

I honestly don’t understand what people see in Quickly. Yes, it’s convenient, especially when you have a short break in between classes, but the overall quality of the food is terrible. However, I am not here to complain about the food quality because bad-tasting food is already something to expect when wasting my money on Quickly. What irritates me most about this Quickly in particular is the HORRIBLE customer service. I don’t know if it’s just the night crew or their staff in general, but whatever the case, they simply cannot comprehend what it means to provide ATLEAST satisfactory customer service. When I was ordering food during my 15-minute break, the cashier chose to finish her text message before attending to my order; either that, or she was too busy on her phone to even notice that customers are waiting. What was she even doing on her phone in the first place when she’s in front of customers? Then, when my order was ready, instead of calling my number to hand me my popcorn chicken, the woman just laid it on the counter without a care in the world that three pieces of my popcorn chicken fell out of the bag. Quickly Staff, we get it — you hate you’re job, but as busy college students, the last thing we need is having to deal with your pathetic attitude.

I am mystified at the daily long lines this place garners. It’s SNACK food and it’s fried. It’s not a meal. Knowing it is snack food, I went there during my 15 minute break. Half an hour later, I was still waiting for the French fries I ordered. A guy who placed a fried food order at least three people behind me in line received his order before I did. I guess if you don’t fit the profile they like, your order gets pushed behind the goofy guy these silly girls are trying to flirt with. He knew it was wrong. He was so embarrassed that he was already sprinting away as he grabbed onto his order. There were four girls and one guy in there. Only one of the girls looked like she was working. The other three stood looking at some appliance acting as if they were trying to figure out how to work it. How many bulbs does it take to light their brains? Anyway, once I did get my order the fries were piping hot and a lot better than the popcorn chicken I tried the week before. Plus, you can season it any way you like since the chili powder, salt-and-pepper shakers are put on the front counter. And what’s with the dirty Band-Aid-on-the-nose girl? I hope that thing doesn’t slip off and fall into the food. The one thing they can add is the ability to use a card. Cash-only businesses on this campus don’t make nearly as much as those who allow customers to use a card.

New location at the Cesar Chavez Student Center right on campus. Craving for some snacks and milk tea between classes? You found the right spot. Most of the menu items are under $ 10 so it is very appropriately priced. Brief Update for 08/28/2013: Nice friendly staff working here. I was in need of something to boost my energy for the remainder of the day. Fried Tater Tots and a Milk Tea will be perfect. The line for this place and Turtle Tower are long so it’s my only downer for this part. Other than that, I like it since I don’t have to go to West Portal Ave, Taraval St, or Irving St. Quickly having a shop here on campus is a time and life saver for me and other students. Edit for 09/05/2013: Quickly is one of the best spots to turn to when you need something to munch and sip on. I said I was going to try a new menu item, so I finally did. I ordered a Peach Milk Tea and a side of Fried Tater Tots. The peach milk tea is very refreshing. Staff members here are friendly and service is efficient. PAYMENT: CASHONLY
