History

Established in 1978.

For over thirty years the Punch Line has brought the nation’s best comics to the local stage. Stars of today, such as Robin Williams, Ellen Degeneres, Margaret Cho, Drew Carey, Chris Rock, Dana Carvey, David Cross and Dave Attell have all crossed the Punch Line stage, entertaining thousands while perfecting their craft. The Punch Line’s dedication and comic tradition has earned it international renown.

Today, the Punch Line hosts national comics such as Bobby Lee, Jim Jefferies, Whitney Cummings, Aziz Ansari, Natasha Leggero, Louis C.K., Dave Chappelle, Marc Maron & Bill Burr just to name more than a few. The Punch Line offers an intimate setting where you can enjoy great entertainers, live and up close, the way stand-​up comedy was intended.
