Richard is the penultimate professional. You can’t go wrong with Project Photobooth for your event. He’s reliable and timely and won’t leave you hanging if you have a question about his services. Compared to other photo companies that offer similar product, Richard and his crew are heads and tails above the rest. Reasonably priced, too.

Last year at SF Pride, the boyfriend and I swung our sweaty, tired behinds by the Zynga booth, and found the amazing Richard and Project Photobooth. They were fast, they were nice, they made us look like rock stars.
A year later, we are planning a graduation party, and my boss suggested a photo booth. I had only one thought– Project Photobooth. (Okay, I also thought, «Photo booth? ROCK ON!»)
Richard and crew were responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to customize our experience in any way we wanted.
The night of the party, they got set up nice and early and were ready for the onslaught! They moved the line through with whimsical props (unicorn head, what what!?) and everyone left with prints to enjoy.
It is possible that the photo booth outshone the graduates. We will be hiring them again next year!

We worked with Richard for our wedding’s photobooth. He provides outstanding customer service; he is very easy to work with and prompt to answer any of your questions or concerns. He is very understanding of our budget and made accommodations everywhere he could. He worked with us from start to finish to customize our event logo (which was awesome… California Love), our «custom» background, and get a live feed our photos projected at our reception for our guests to enjoy.
Our guests really enjoyed all his CrAZy props and beautiful photos. Some of the photos looked so professional they could be the cover shot for Vanity Fair. Many guests had commented on the high-​quality printing of the photos as compared those from other «photobooths».

Richard is a phenomenal photographer, with a talent for capturing moments that reflect every facet of emotion and life. His eye beautifully facilitates the environment, subjects, lighting, and technology of his shoots. It’s more than a compliment when you consistently use Richard’s photographs as your default pictures everywhere.
(Yes, I just uploaded 4 pictures of myself that Richard took at various events he was contracted for. What?! It’s not a sin to just save the ones you’re in: o).

Project Photobooth gives your guests a fairly large sized color photostrip with a custom wedding monogram, and your guests walk away with their keepsake on the spot. And it’s so much better than companies who offer an acual booth, because with Richard, you get to pose and use props and put on your own creative touches. Plus, he offers some fab background options and the lighting is awesome and made everyone look their best. And, it’s great for people of all ages. Even my 92-​year old grandpa wanted to take pictures with me! Take it from me, it will be the best decision you’ll ever make — people will be talking about your event for years to come.
Plus, Richard is the most awesome guy you’d ever want to work with. He’s responsive, flexible, and just an all-​around super nice guy. My guests all enjoyed getting their «paparazzi» on with Richard. And a few days later, he sent me a link to an online gallery (which I forwarded to all my guests) so they could see everyone’s pics from the night and even download the ones they wanted. It’s like a gift that keeps on giving (not to sound cheesy). But seriously, you won’t be disappointed.

Richard is a class act and always a great guy to be around. His Project Photobooth takes the normal, dull, boring, and no-​fun-​at-​all photobooths and has turned it into something amazing! He caters to each individuals needs and so it turned out, pink was in at my cousins wedding.
The backdrop really brought out my eyes and all of the pictures came out wonderful!
I dont plan on getting married anytime soon, but when I do, Richard better be around to jazz up my party!

We had Richard do his thang at our wedding. The pictures turned out amazing! Although I’m very happily married, If I ever get married again, you can bet Richard and his booth will be there. I’m just saying. He’s that good.

Several months after the wedding people are still talking about him. It seems like the only thing they remember about the wedding was the Photobooth. Not how awesome I looked in my tux. Or the perfect double Windsor knot in my tie. Or even my expertly groomed eyebrows. No. None of those things will be remembered. But I’m not bitter. Really. I’m not.

When my friend mentioned having a photobooth at her wedding, I ‘pictured’ a tiny cubicle with a curtain and 5 people sitting on each others laps, with maybe 2 of said 5 actually appearing in a strip of pictures.
This is NOT that photobooth; it is so so so much better.
Looking for that aforementioned tiny photobooth, I was surprised to find a giant backdrop, multiple lights, and a professional photographer waiting for me and my friends. Project Photobooth = Richard: A hot photographer with a friendly face, experienced direction, and an eye for a great shot. Wait, plural that. Great shotS.
Richard totally put us at ease and snapped away, even when we were just rearranging ourselves. The result was a beautiful bunch of photos, many of them completely candid and totally capturing our natural laughter and mannerisms.
Absolutely loved this experience and would highly highly recommend Richard for any function — small or large. He’s an excellent photographer.

Like others, I was able to have this great experience at Jean’s wedding. Who would have known that a photobooth can have so much fun? This was a great idea.
Jean, I’m going to copy this idea if I ever get married. I hope you don’t mind.

Once upon a time before I became Elite, I envied the photos that came from the Photo Booth at the Unilocal Parties. The one with the photo frames, I really love that.
Then I got to go to 1015 as a +1 and I got my very own Photo Booth pic, with mustache and all, behind the blinging beaded curtain thingy… yippie! I was super trilled. The photo came out great!
Second time, I got a Photo Booth pic was the Masquerade. That was even more awesome!
The concept is great! The photo quality is great! I can’t wait to see my Holiday Twister photo! :D

So My aunt, Jean P, hired Project Photobooth for her wedding. Very original if I must say. I would have never thought to have a photo booth for a wedding. Anyway, I saw all the family members and all the Unilocalers doing this & wanted to join along in the fun. Seriously this was so much fun to do, especially after about 8 – 10 drinks in my system. The photographer, Richard, was a really great guy, not to mention cute. Hehe. He put up with me & my drunk cousin at the photo booth. Just kept snapping away at us moving around & posing. Haha. He was even nice enough to give her his tie! Now isn’t that something?

Project Photobooth is owned and run by awesome photographer, Richard Tamayo. The first time I came across Project Photobooth was at the event at the Computer Museum in Mountain View. During that time, I was scheduled to have an appointment with another photobooth company (the one’s with the little machines you go into). After seeing how all of us were having fun taking group shots, my light bulb lit up and I said to myself that Project Photobooth would be perfect for my wedding! I have a huge family and great circle of friends that I realized the concept was sooo much better for us and also more cost effective. In addition to being hired by Unilocal for several events, I felt confident in Richard’s work. Miss Connie «Silicon Valley» C. even assured me that Richard would do an awesome job. She was RIGHT!
Working with Richard from booking to planning was easy as 1−2−3. He was very easy going and patient. He was also flexible with the time frames I gave him. What I liked about him is that he isn’t like most vendors that seemed demanding when it came to talking about financials. He made me feel comfortable to work with. We communicated mostly via email. On my wedding day, he showed up on time and set up the booth quickly. While setting up, people were already anxiously waiting in line with excitement to have photos taken of them.
Hiring Richard was one of the best things I did for my wedding. I’m so glad that I didn’t go with another company. Richard’s photobooth was a hit! In a few days, I was sent the link to all the photos to share with friends and family. A lot of cute and hilarious ones were taken. I highly recommend Project Photobooth for your wedding or next event. You will not be disappointed!

Last Labor Day Weekend, my buddy brought in one of those photo booth machines for his wedding. Make a long story short… the dayam thing could not fit in our group pictures and had technical difficulties throughout the evening. So BLAH! * kicks machine *
Two weeks later, we ran into Project Photo Booth at our friends’ wedding (Jean and Richard). This guy f**kin ROCKS! Mac computer, drop cloth, studio lighting, and his hybrid camera… his set up looked like it was ready for celebrities… Unilocal Celebrities… hahahahha!!!
Definitely going to keep this photography company in mind for 2009. Yes, there’s several more weddings coming up. Unfortunately, i’m always the best man or groomsman. But I still love my hot bridesmaids!
