Priceless Evaluations

Second time to Affordable Evaluations. Overall it was okay. Waited for an hour. Talked to the doctor. Talked to the guy with the beard (very helpful). The problem I had was with the Filipino girl behind the desk. The moron forgot to give me back my drivers license and I did not realize it until I had taken Bart home to South San Francisco. Had to go back to the office to get my license. Two hours wasted because of two morons. Me and he Filipino broad. Just be careful.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend making an appointment if you don’t want to wait.

It’s actually very inexpensive and affordable. I was a first time patient and I was very delighted with the service I got. It is a bit of a wait time but once your done with the paper work its all pretty fast. I was in and out within 45 mins. Bring cash they don’t take card and look for coupons.

I will admit after reading all the negative reviews I was hesitant, but I’m all about making my own opinion/​decisions, aren’t you? Excellent experience, the ladies were friendly, the space was clean and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Thank you ladies, you rock!

Just went by and got my card earlier today. The Dr evaluation went fairly smoothly and the wait was about 35 min. I paid $ 60 total came with the I. d card and paper.

They actually changed there location didn’t and in the website it stated that they are having a discount on renewals however when I took my picture the lady said it was $ 85 due to the fact that I had appointment idk

I would highly recommend this place, after getting there and sitting for a while I realize how blessed I am to live in California and be able to have this opportunity. The place was an awesome spot they got me in and out. They treated me really well and I really appreciated them. When I walked in I got greeted, told what I needed to do, I filled out the paperwork got to see the doctor and instead of having a paper recommendation I decided to spend and invest into a card. I’ve been coming here for 3 years now and every year it seems to get better. The doctor was super nice had a good time with his questions. Mind you I didn’t have an appointment so I thought that the line was going to be long I must of came on a great day because everything just worked out. Thank You priceless evaluations seems like you always have my back!

Bigger, newer location should be good right? Well, they fund that by doing the ol’ bait and switch. Now they «require» you to get the photo ID card, which they never tell you until the end. So even if you bring in a coupon for a $ 35 renewal or whatever you don’t end up paying that. I ended up paying $ 60 when I was expecting almost half of that. I wouldn’t have even been that upset if they would have been upfront. Really greasy tactic. Oh, appointments still don’t mean shit. You’ll still wait an hour or more with an appointment. When my recommendation is up next year I will be looking for a new place to go.

I wrote a review of this horrid place a couple years ago that has mysteriously disappeared! Wow! I wonder why, I wonder HOW.
Current reviews show that the same bait & switch tactics are still in place. Look out!
To briefly recap:
In 2013, I made an appointment for a renewal. Waited anyway in a place that stank of broiled chicken and looked like somewhere lonely people go for a low cost hand job. Was overcharged after seeing the doctor. Was told price was not valid if one has an appointment, despite never being informed on the phone or in the ad. Was also told I had to bring their ad with me to get price the in the ad (ad itself does not say one must carry it to the appointment.) It was clear that the staff was prepared to say anything to bring in the extra bucks.
I refused to pay their rip-​off-​triple-​the-​price renewal fee (after seeing the doctor!) and being fed this load of BS at the desk. The smug woman who failed to inform me of their policies, either on the phone or in person until she tried to rob me of my money, told my retreating back that I would have a hard time finding another place to get my renewal.
Actually, no. Compassionate Health Options is just down the road, and is an upstanding practice that actually honors the falsely advertised price of PriceLess Evaluations.

Very nice staff, and Doctor Chang was really cool too. They are thorough, ask good questions, and really seem to care.

**Please note that I am a real, disgruntled, customer, NOT someone giving this place a one star review to bolster business to the competition. Priceless Evaluations has written into their description to «please ignore all the 1 star reviews, they’re not real», which I find to becompletely shady (if I didn’t already think as much from my laughable situation in trying to have an appointment here, read below…)**
Annoyed that I just wasted a half day from work. Made an appointment, took a half day off work to get in, came in just a few min before the designated time, filled out paperwork, gave it to the girl at the counter and was told it would be an hour… Reminded her that I had an apt, she said, «oh, maybe 20 min then?». A half hour later I checked in again as I had a real doctor appt I needed to get to and my meter was running low, they still had 6 people ahead of me and she didn’t think I’d be out in less than 45 min (an hour and 15 min after my appt time). Apologies were made, something about a new doctor being slow and the fact that I booked my appointment online; apparently if you book online, I was told that it books 7 other people in the same time slot. What’s the point? You’re going to make customers pay more for an «appointment» that you’re not going to keep anyway? Sounds like a total scam. Plus the price for renewals has gone up, or isn’t advertised correctly online. Online says $ 60, but the actual cost is $ 85. It’s all just a bit shady.
She tried to reschedule me for the weekend, booked my appointment in the system, and then 2 min later said, «I forgot, we’re not open at that time». Sigh… Insert joke about staff indulging in their own medicine here.
Then they lost my ID card, in the (wasted) 40 min I spent sitting in the waiting room. Comedy of errors this place, except much less funny considering I missed a half day of work for nothing. I decided to head over to green215 where they seem exponentially more organized, transparent and respectful of people’s time as this place is a joke.
To the business, in response to your comment (I can’t figure out how to reply) — no, I will not provide you with the name of the person at your front desk. Not only do I not know it, but it is not the customer’s responsibility to help you manage your staff. If you don’t know who you had working the desk on any particular day, I suggest an overhaul to your management and scheduling procedures. Maybe you could check to see who was logged into Facebook at the time as they seemed to be pretty interested in that…

I had an 11:30 appt. The whole process took about 30min. Everyone was pleasant and professional and it was a smooth and comfortable experience. Dr. Arnon is a kindly, gentle natured man and he set me at ease right away. It was $ 60, with a coupon for a first timer (which I was). For me personally, the place is an exceptional location. I will go back there when it’s time to renew.

Bummer, been coming here for years but now Priceless went and got greedy. I guess that’s just how every business in SF operates these days… So they advertise a renewal is $ 35 with the coupon, but what they don’t tell you anywhere on the coupon is that they require you to get a *totally unnecessary* photo ID for an additional cost of $ 25, brining your total to $ 60, nearly DOUBLE what is advertised! They didn’t even bother to tell me that when I checked in, it wasn’t until after I went back to the desk and pressed them on WHY it was $ 60 rather than $ 35, that I was told about the fee for a photo ID, even tho I did not want it, and it probably costs them .10¢ to make. I did eventually find a small sign on the desk posted amongst a gang of other nearly identical signs mentioning the charge, but it is very easily overlooked, and I feel like the advertisement should have that on there otherwise it’s false advertising. And as far as I can recall from last year, it did not used to be that way, I did not need or want a photo ID, and in the past it was optional. What, were you not making enough money already by churning hundreds of people thru your doors every single day Priceless?! Or whatever your name is. SMH. This whole process is insane in the first place, I am a responsible law-​abiding adult, I shouldn’t need some shady doctor’s «recommendation» to consume a perfectly safe plant in the first place! But as backwards as that is, I WAS ok with it before because it WAS affordable and they WERE honest about their prices. NOW they’re dishonest AND greedy which only makes the whole thing feel really demeaning. If it’s going to be $ 60, just say so. Super lame. I don’t think I’ll be back here next year. The people who work here however are all really nice so the two stars are just for the people, but I really don’t appreciate feeling like I just got the ol’ bait-​n-​switch scam.
CA it’s time for us to stand up and say we want this plant to be fully legalized! It’s safer than booze and, well really do I need to say anything more than that?! Why do we make ourselves jump thru these ridiculous hoops? Why do we allow these doctors to judge us and make millions off a completely UNNECESSARY process!!!

CLASSIC BAIT-​AND-​SWITCH
Go somewhere else to get your card! I showed up on a Saturday with a local competitors coupon for $ 39 for a new patient. They told me they would accept it. After an hour and a half in the office, when it comes to checkout they tried to charge me $ 92. Then after I complained and showed them the coupon again, they lowered the price to $ 64. That is still $ 25 more than the original promised price. Textbook bait-​and-​switch.
These types of shady business practices are just one reason why the medical movement isn’t taken seriously. I went in expecting to pay $ 39 dollars, and they left with me the choice of spending $ 64 or not getting my card. SHADY SHADY SHADY. Go to Amoeba on Haight and save yourself the time/​money/​frustration.

I am sorry to hear so many people have had bad experiences here. I, on the other hand, had a very smooth, friendly, timely encounter. Yes, absolutely there was a wait. I knew that when the very nice guy asked if I had approximately 90 minutes. The MD, was very nice and asked questions relevant to why I was there. Except maybe where I went to college, which didn’t bother me in the least. The sweet guy who handed me my new card, gave me great recommendations. Some in the city and some where I hail from (at the moment)
I can honestly say, I am really happy that I went here.

Honestly, these folks will go the extra mile for you. At first, I’m new to the area and didn’t quite know what I needed, they walked me through it and even helped me when I got lost! I came in and (they knew it had to be me lol) I was carrying some files and I was hot and out of breath from playing frogger to cross the street quickly! Lol The woman behind the desk grabbed me some water and said” don’t worry, just relax… We will help all we can” I mean seriously! Super sweet.
The doctor is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE about medical marijuana and asked questions I would hope a doctor would ask me… Didn’t ask «a million questions», he was nice and understanding. The great guy who does your paperwork and picture was awesome and even asked if my picture was okay… Lol pretty cool
Go here and get it done legitimately. They are GREAT and not pricey at all. I got a hard ID with the picture and the certification paper (instead of just paper) and appointment for $ 60! Don’t think I need to say more lol

New location, new doctor, new cards
The new doctor is a f*****cking DICK, come prepared to answer 1,247 questions for almost 90 bucks
Please don’t come here without your discount postcard or newspaper, because they don’t give a shit about you, just your money!
Other than that worth the hassle

Soooo they’ve done moved to a new office… Nicer but smaller and I guess rent went up cause so did their prices. where I normally pay a total of 40 for my renewal I was charged 85! The price of the card alone went up as well and like anything involving «legal» pot. This place was slight sketchy. That is all. I’ll be going to the one over Amoeba after this year.

Super amazing staff personality wise. Though the clerks large cold sore made me uncomfortable.
