Pick It Up

Erin is truly amazing! I bid on Pick it Up services at a school auction and wasn’t really sure what was going to happen when she got to our house. Well, I can proudly say, our two-​car garage is now a TWO CAR GARAGE! It took a few sessions, but everything is organized and there is room for our cars too! I highly recommend Erin and her approach– we sold/​donated/​threw away/​gave away a lot, and I think I recouped the investment in Pick it Up from all of the items I sold!

Erin is truly fantastic. We’ve worked on two projects and I plan on calling her for more work in the next few months. So many things get checked-​off my to-​do list when when I’m working with her.
My first project was organizing my bedroom closet/​dressers. She made some really great recommendations and now I feel like I have a functional closet. Finding things to wear in the morning is no longer an issue.
My other project is working on organizing my storage unit locker. It would have taken me multiple weekends to organize it. Erin’s focus and skills got us through so much in just three hours. One of the best benefits of working with her is that she brings the stuff you’d like to donate straight to Goodwill (or similar organizations). She also mails you the tax receipt for your records. If you’ve ever had pile of stuff that’s been in your place for months — just waiting to be donated — you know what a great benefit that can be.
If you need to reorganize and rearrange, you really can’t do better than Erin!

I met Erin because she took a dance class from me. She was sweet and friendly, and I could tell that she used the information very efficiently. As we were chatting, she mentioned that she was a professional organizer.
Having now had 4 sessions with her, I have to tell you that she is much, much more than that. I really believe she is a stuff-​therapist, and a life-​changer. We have a toddler, and what with the constant running after him and the onslaught of well-​meant kid-​gifts, our house was a major source of stress for me. Erin not only helped me let go of clutter that was totally unnecessary, but she also REMOVED it-​donating to Scrap, Goodwill, and other charity stores so that I felt that I was doing a real service by getting rid of excess stuff!
I can walk into our walk-​in closet for the first time in 2 years, and there is tons of space to hang coats, stow boots, etc. She improved my husband’s whole system with filing, and he’s now using her beautifully labelled system enthusiastically. Our desk is tidy and clear because everything has been given a place and sorted out.
I really can’t find enough great things to say about Erin. She’s friendly, focused, understanding, extremely well-​organized.
Before meeting her, I was skeptical about the need for a professional organizer. I am a TOTAL believer now!
