Business Owner

Dr. Peter Su has been in full time private practice since 1997. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California at Berkeley and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry in San Francisco, one of the top dental schools in the country.

Dr. Su is a conservative dentist. What this means is that Dr. Su will present treatment options that preserve natural tooth structure as much as possible for the health of your mouth. He is an honest and caring doctor, who looks after your well being. He is married and has three children. His hobbies include scuba diving and tennis.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Su’s for over 12 years. He is the best dentist I’ve had! Always very patient with explaining what he’s doing and thorough in his examinations and cleaning. Our 6 year old’s been seeing Dr. Su since her teeth came in. She’s always happy to go to the dentist, which was never the case with me… We recently moved to the East Bay and are very sad to leave Dr. Su, but wish him and his family all the best! We miss you already!

I love Dr. Su! I am super picky about dentists. My dad was my dentist growing up and I even spent the majority of my teen years working in his office. Ironically, I have REALLY bad teeth, so I’ve had a TON of dental work done.
Dr. Su is a great. I’ve recommended friends to him and they’ve been very happy as well. He’s got a great sense of humor, his staff are great, and he does a very good job of explaining everything before he does anything and he’s really professional. I don’t know what that other reviewer was talking about. I’ve never had a bad experience with him and I would HIGHLY recommend him.

I have always been scared of the dentists due to the bad experiences I have had in the past, but Dr. Su was very gentle throughout the whole process. It was the best experience i have ever had at a dental office. I was very surprised that he explained the procedures that need to be done throughly to make sure I fully understand and I really appreciated that. I will definitely keep coming back to this office.

Dr. Su and his staff are absolutely Fantastic. Always had an anxiety with the dentist but Dr. Su has removed all the anxiety and has made my teeth better, cleaner and in better condition. My whole family goes to Dr. Su. We live far away but we made the drive because he is a Fantastic

Tried Dr. Su for 3.5 years. Waste of Money & time. Not honest with quotes. Nor is he efficient with client’s best interest.
I left his office for the final time 3 – 4 months ago very unpleased at his unprofessional behavior and told him that I would Unilocal my experience. He didn’t have any positive comments during the 3 years of me going to him, which seemed odd.

Dr. Su is a great dentist. Just moved to the city and needed a dentist, luckily got referred to Dr. Su. He made me feel completely comfortable the first time I met him. He was talkative, informative, and cares about his patients.
Went in for cleaning and examination of my oral health. Got my teeth x-​rayed after him knowing that my wisdom teeth are still in there. He carefully explained about my teeth and gum condition and suggested ways to improve my brushing and flossing habits. He was gentle and made this my most comfortable cleaning yet.
His staff are also nice and friendly. Thanks and will be visiting again soon!

Dr Su has been the trusted dentist for our whole family for years. I can judge the professionalism, competence and ethics of a practice quite well as I am in the healthcare and surgical field myself. I can say that his dental work, techniques refined over years practice and materials used is excellent and far exceeds the quality of many other practices. His office uses top grade equipment and great attention is paid to infection control and patient safety. These are qualities in a doctor that I always look for first. Beyond that, good communication skills and patient rapport are important. He is always fair in his assessments and treatment recommendations.

Dr. Su has always been extremely friendly and informative about my oral health. He takes the time to explain what is going on inside my mouth with images to help me better understand. He is a very patient and professional dentist. He always has a gentle touch and ensures that I am comfortable with what he does.
His staff is also very welcoming and proficient. They always explain to me about my insurance and are easy to talk to if I have any questions.
The office is very homey and clean. The instruments and x-​rays are all very modern and I always enjoy that I can watch television when I am in the chair!

Dr. Su and his staff are always prompt, friendly, personal, and professional. Every single time I go to him, he makes sure I understand what the procedure is and also what needs to be done in the future. His office is very clean and he uses the latest state-​of-​the-​art equipment. I have Delta dental and I never have had any trouble with my insurance going to him. He goes out of his way to make a patient feel comfortable.

Dr. Su is definitely my dentist for life! He is super friendly, professional, and reliable. He would take photographs of my own teeth and show me what is going on inside my mouth; the way he explains never makes me feel embarrassed or offended because I can tell this dentist really does care about my teeth! Dr. Su has done deep cleaning, lots of fillings, and wisdom teeth extractions for me; I have enough experience to say that Dr. Su has the best injection skill ever, and all procedures went smooth and painless to a point I almost fall asleep several times! I took advantage of their teeth whitening promotion (expires at the end of 2014!!) and I’m beyond satisfied with my smile right now!
Staff and assistants are very caring and efficient; they can always work with my busy schedule and would never give me any headache regarding my insurance issues. The office is very cosy, neat, and clean (I love how soft and comfy the dental chair is!). Residential parking or street parking are always available (just avoid 5−6pm on Fridays because only God knows why everyone goes to the gym at the same time).
