We serve the Greater Bay Area and Sacramento. All our ingredients are local and chosen for the best quality. Our cakes are not only beautiful, but delicious. We are about paying homage to how outstanding our ingredients are by giving them the best presentation possible. Our fruit comes from the best Bay area farms and all ingredients are GMO free.

Business Owner

With an art background as a professional painter Kellie Slingerland attended The Culinary Institute of America to hone her baking and pastry skills. After her first year in school she sought out the opportunity to work with highly praised Cake Designer, Maggie Austin, where she developed her fundamental skills with wedding cakes and design. While working at Maggie Austin Cake, Ms. Slingerland took part in creating hand crafted sugar flower arrangements for the White House Christmas 2013 and several other exquisite projects.

After completing the prestigious associates degree program at CIA, she turned all her energy to launching Palette Cakes. Elegantly tailored and exclusively costumed Ms. Slingerland’s designs are a vessel for her art. With an obvious influence of haute couture and contemporary art, Kellie Slingerland’s designs are elegant, refined, and cutting edge.
