Excellent job. This was my first acupuncture experience and Miranda was great. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

I’ve been getting acupuncture off and on for the past 20 years, but had been on a break from treatments for a while. Without continuing with acupuncture for maintenance, many of my old complaints (like racing thoughts and lack of focus) had started to resurface. Miranda listened carefully to my history and to what was going on for me now and then set up a unique treatment plan that addressed the complexity of my personal situation. I really appreciated this personal treatment. In my experience, sometimes practitioners seem to rely on the same treatment for different people, but with Miranda I felt she paid special attention to my uniqueness. My old complaints are now gone again, after working with Miranda. Now I remember why it’s so important to have acupuncture regularly.

Miranda is a true healer– caring, up-​to-​date, extremely well-​educated, and professional. She is everything you want an acupuncturist to be, AND she makes house calls, AND she takes insurance! Heaven.

I have been having severe neck problems for almost a month and wasn’t getting any relief through massage or other home treatments i was doing… it felt deeper than that. We went over a number of questions so we can pin point what was going on,
We were able to access the problem, it was stress that i wasn’t even aware of? I told her this felt more than just a kink in my neck. I cant Believe how intuitive she was… My body was finally able to relax, i even passed out lol.
I am extremely impressed and will definitely be back, I’ve already recommended her to so many people…
As the day progressed i felt better and better. Still not 100% but i went from a pain level of ⁸⁄₉ to a ⁴⁄₅! from just one visit. Can’t wait to have more treatments, also thinking of bringing my 12 year old daughter. :D

Miranda is the greatest! I have lower back problems, probably from the Marine Corps, for the better part of a decade. My pain level on average is around a 6 or 7, not enough to stop me from going about my daily activities, not enough for me to start the cycle of prescription pain medication addiction. The doctors at the VA told me that my only option is to have back surgery. Awesome!
I never thought that sticking needles in me would, help me relax, relieve stress, diminish the amount of pain that I felt. I didn’t feel the needles go in, or out. I don’t know how it works, or why, but I do know that after that first appointment, I didn’t have as much pain as I usually do.
I like that you can discuss with Miranda how you are feeling, if you want her to go deeper or if something else is bothering you. Very patient and friendly.

I’ve had chronic neck and shoulder problems for as long as I can remember — missing school because it hurt to pick up my bag, not being able to turn toward the sound of a voice, you name it, I’ve had the crick for it. At the time of my first visit to Omni Health, I was unable to swivel my neck to the left or look up to the right (insert Zoolander joke here).
Miranda listened and probed through my long history of muscle pain and during consultation, asked questions no other doctor has before (What is my predominant emotion? Do I have fur on my tongue when I wake up in the morning? How’s my immune system?). Definitely thorough and not without a sense of humor.
When we moved to the acupuncture table, she talked me through what was going on and encouraged me to give feedback on the sensation the needles caused. She even gave me a massage and stretch after the session («you have to make nice to your body after you’ve poked it with stainless steel»). The sensation of acupuncture is best described as odd and varied, and it did kind of hurt for me — but when I left her office, I felt absolutely awesome. My mobility was back, I literally felt the knots in my shoulders relax, and best of all the pain was gone.
I’m going back for a follow up appointment, at the end of which I fully expect to be able to rotate my head 360 degrees like Linda Blair in the Exorcist.

Calm environment great service!

Omni Health has a warm feeling by the colors of the walls and the décor. Once you set foot inside you feel a sense of peacefulness.
I have been going to Miranda for years and she has always been able to treat my bad shoulder, knee, neck and back… She has always been intuitive with my body and when i leave i always feel in top shape.
The great thing that i like about this space is i get to listen to whatever music station i want when i get my treatment. No waterfall or ambient background noise that makes me feel like i have to relieve myself… Just some Bob Marley to let me take a quick needle nap to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the world…
You should definitely check this place out and let Miranda poke you with her fancy needles… You will not regret it…
Oh and if you are looking for parking, park towards Euclid Ave (2 hrs parking) and walk across the street. Bets paying for pricy meter parking
on california and sacramento…

Miranda has created a great space of healing for the whole family. She is a careful listener and a wonderful acupuncturist. Would recommend Omni Health to everyone.

What does that have to do with acupuncture? Any of you parents out there will understand that kids=stress. And for me, stress meant crazy tension and soreness in my shoulders… until I started getting acupuncture!
I’ve been getting weekly treatments from Miranda for almost a year now and I definitely feel it if I miss a week. It is my one hour a week that I am able to totally relax and take a snooze on a cushy soft and heated table. Ahhhhhhh…
Plus, I find that the effects last way longer than a regular massage. Miranda’s great at working with problem areas or whatever you need — for about two months I had a terrible series of colds — and she not only knew I was sick before I did, she was able to alleviate some of the symptoms along the way. Score!

I live for stress.
Until I had an anxiety attack and couldn’t sleep for weeks on end. While some people think acupuncture is just sticking needles in your body in random spots, I’ve come to learn that it is much more than that… and obviously it works because look how long it’s been around!
Miranda is such an incredible listener and the best part is — she is intuitive to your symptoms and health issues. Think, psychic but along the lines of what may be bothering you or anticipating something that could happen like a cold based on a few questions or her skilled training.
Omni Health is a cozy spot. I highly recommend acupuncture to anyone who is willing to give it a try. I simply can’t live without it now!
