Absolutely the best photo booth! Amazing lighting, fun props and great team. Have used them multiple times and never disappoints!

I found Oh Snap through Unilocal and was super excited for a fun photobooth at our wedding last Fall. This was the first vendor we booked. I contacted quite a few other photobooth vendors that had generic/​standard photobooths, but I really wanted something more interesting for our wedding. I chose Oh Snap because Jensine was flexible with me when I negotiated the price and how long I wanted the photobooth to run. She made it work for us which I appreciated. Jensine is fantastic. She is quick to respond to calls and emails and seemed very organized. I also liked how you can add your own personal decal on the outside and the inside of the booth, they had a plethora of props they would provide the day-​of and different sized photo strips.
Our issue was the day of the wedding. We had warned all of our vendors that traffic would be bad since it was happening on a Friday night and Salesforce’s big Dreamforce event was happening as well. We told vendors to allow for ample time to arrive. The team showed up late, which affected the set-​up time so our guests saw them setting up when they arrived to the wedding (they were supposed to be set-​up already by then).
The photobooth broke down several times during the night and the staff even asked my wedding coordinator if they can leave early since it was malfunctioning and they couldn’t figure out the problem. They brought very little props (not the cool ones you see on their website) and gave us the wrong wedding album which was to allow our guests to glue their photo strip and write a wedding message to us. To top that all off, our logo did not show up on the bottom of the photo strip. Our wedding guests got a photo strip with a number on the bottom and a big white blank space. It just looked awful. Obviously you can tell something was supposed to show up on the bottom. They also had a monitor on the outside of the booth that did not work, it was supposed to run our wedding slideshow. I am not kidding… everything that could possibly fail that night with them, did. I was so disappointed. These photo strips were meant to be our wedding favors to share in the fun memories.
Regardless of the fiasco, our guests were drunk and had fun even though they had to wait while the booth was malfunctioning. Some guests couldn’t even take as many photos with their friends because the machine broke down so often and we eventually ran out of time and they had to tear down and leave. We complained after the wedding and eventually we got some sort of refund after following up a few times. Jensine seemed very apologetic and acknowledged some of the issues. But in the end, you can’t go back and re-​do your special day. I just wish they tested their booth before they brought it to our wedding or hired staff that were technical enough to fix it if something like this happens on-​site.

From the beginning Jensine was very easy to work with. Jensine was quick to communicate if I ever had any questions and was very professional. I loved looking at our «photo booth album» and seeing what people wrote, and even though all the strips were not able to fit into our album, they are sending us a DVD with all the pictures taken from that night! They were a great thing to have at our wedding for those «downtime» between dancing and food.
There was a line all night long and many of my family and friends told me how it was a great idea and how they loved that we had a custom logo on the booth.
Why not 5 stars?
— The logo we had at the bottom of our strip was blurry. I realize this might have to do with the exposure of the camera, but I read from other reviews this is not the first time it happened, so it might be something they should take a look at. Maybe give themselves enough time to test pictures after they set up? If I paid extra to have these custom logos, I wish they weren’t blurry.
— I wish they had more examples of photo booth pictures/​logos on their site. I created my own logo, no problem, but I wish I could have seen other examples of backgrounds and logos. After our wedding, I saw a wedding that had a plain black background and it made their photo strips look really cool. Would have been nice to see examples like that.

I hate to have to write any of our wedding vendors a bad review, but Oh Snap just fell below our expectations. We found them on Unilocal and booked with them because they had so many great reviews (like most of our wedding vendors). I’m not sure if the quality of their service is consistent with what we received, but there were several disappointing aspects:
— My biggest complaint was the way they handled our «decal». Because we booked the largest package, we were allowed to have a custom graphic on the outside of the booth. We did not have a decal or logo designed for our wedding, so Jensine said that a decal company could help us design one and she gave us their website. I contacted the decal company and we went through several revisions. After two revisions, they charged my credit card, which Jensine had to later ask them to reverse because I was not supposed to pay for the design work.
— Jensine then CCed me on an e-​mail to the decal company where she said: «I don’t know why she contacted you herself. As you know, I usually contact you for all the orders.» This is highly unprofessional to talk poorly of your clients to other business partners, and have them CCed on the e-​mail. And maybe if the communication had been clearer on her side, I wouldn’t have contacted the decal company myself.
— On the day of the wedding, the photo booth was up and running. They provided two attendants who were friendly, but came to a nice wedding dressed in shorts and flip flops. My husband thought that they should have looked the part, even if they are just helping with a photobooth.
— Lastly, our photo strips had our decal printed on the bottom, and the decal was BLURRY. I was so embarrassed that our friends went home with photos with an ugly, blurry image of our names and wedding date. I would think that if Oh Snap has a professional relationship with a logo/​decal company, that they would make sure that the resolution of the file is appropriate for what it’s being used for.
I’ve been to weddings with photo booths from other vendors and all of my other photo booth prints have looked better than the ones at our wedding. Sad to say it but it’s true.

I’ve been to many weddings with photobooths, and Oh Snap was very disappointing. The quality of the photographs were the worst I’ve seen. The pictures came out very yellow, and we couldn’t figure out why we all looked like we’ve been sitting in the sun far too long. Turns out the bulb for the flash blew out before cocktail hour even started. Fix it! The bride didn’t know about till the end of the night when she got in the booth and asked what was wrong with it.
Typically photo booths prints 2 copies (1 for you to keep, another for the bride/​groom.) Well the attendants wouldn’t allow our group to keep both copies. Talk about being anal! Oh, and the wedding date was printed incorrectly on the photos. Genius.
I hope the couple got some of their money back. I’d be pissed.

Jensine, the general manager of Oh Snap! Box, is awesome. She responds to my emails promptly and is very understanding. Oh Snap! Box is a bit on the higher-​end than other photo booth companies, but the quality of their photo booth and what they offer speaks for itself. Oh Snap! Box’s packages were a bit out of our budget, but Jensine was able to customize our package; thus, making it possible to have a photo booth at our wedding.
The photo booth looks sleek and contemporary, which fit our theme. The technicians were nice and know how to control a crowd. They have a lot of props, which the guests loved. I didn’t receive any negative comments from guests about their experience with the photo booth and my experience with it was great. Thus, I would book them again for any future events and recommend them to anyone having a wedding or party.
Suggestion: book them ahead of time if your wedding or event is during peak season. Oh Snap! Box gets booked fairly quickly.

We had Oh Snap! at our wedding, and it was a huge hit! We had it at a country club, and the booth fit in very well. I loved that we got to put a custom design on it so that it fit in with our theme as well.
The weather was bad during the winter, and there was a lot of rain, which caused our reception to be delayed. But Oh Snap was on time and set up so that our guests could enjoy the experience while they waited. It definitely was a party saver!
Whenever I looked towards the back of the reception hall where the booth was set up, there was a constant stream/​line of people waiting to use the booth. Everyone from our little cousins to our elderly grandparents used it and had a great time getting goofy! We weren’t able to spend much time with each of our guests, even some that came from very far away, so it was SO MUCH FUN to look through the scrapbook afterwards. We got so many laughs looking at all of the photos! It’s definitely something I will treasure forever.
The guys at Oh Snap took care of everything! Their service went so smoothly I didn’t have to worry about anything, which is exactly what every bride would want!

In a word: funnn
Now I haven’t booked OhSnap for any events personally, but from my experience as a guest at a wedding and a banquet with the OhSnap presence, I’d have to say that it is great. The booth itself looks super classy and clean, and it fits in with whatever feel you are going for. When other guests saw the booth, they were super excited to use it! The staff were really nice and helpful, and overall it was just so much fun! I would definitely consider booking them for any major events I might have to put on in the future.

We’ve seen Oh Snap’s work before at my (now) brother-in-law’s wedding and we knew we wanted to have them at ours too! But things have gotten even better! They’d made improvements to the lighting so that the pictures come out even nicer now! The photobooth itself looked great as they let you add a custom graphic to personalize the look of the booth, and they show pictures of you on a videoscreen outside the booth. All our guests thought it looked awesome! Plus the bring great wacky props so the guests all had fun being silly and taking fun pics! On top of that, the service was great and they were easy to work with. Combined with a great price…5 stars!

Oh Snap takes photo booths to a whole new level. We used them at our wedding at City Hall in SF and they were classy, efficient and boat loads of fun. Our guests were so impressed that they each took like 3 or 4 pictures. The props were awesome and the staff was great at helping our guests sign our guestbook. They were on time, set up and people weren’t jammed in line. We didn’t have to worry about a thing (which is something you’ll treasure on your wedding day)
We chose the top-​of-​the-​line package which was still affordable, but the customization was key. They allowed us to have custom graphics (we used our wedding logo) allowing the photobooth to serve not only as our guestbook but also as our favor. The logo was also on the outside of the photobooth so it looked REALLY cool in our video and photos.
We would HIGHLY recommend Oh Snap. We go through our album everyday and find funny things that we didn’t notice before in the photostrips (note to self: photobooth + lots of patron shots = fun and crazy guests who love to take pictures of themselves and great memories for a lifetime)

Cannot express how much of a WIN Oh Snap! was at our wedding in Berkeley, at the Brazil Room. There are a lot of photo booth vendors out there, but Oh Snap! has gotta be the best. The high quality of the booth, our experience with the staff, the photos results/​album, and feedback from our guests were all fantastic!
I looked into other vendors, but was drawn to Oh Snap’s clean, sharp-​looking, larger-​size booth — and admittedly, the company’s fun name. ;) I’m SO glad I went with my first choice!
From start to finish, everyone was nice and easy to work with. They were super fast about turning around custom graphics for the booth. And they were completely self-​sufficient on the day. Didn’t have to worry about a thing! And after the wedding, my husband and I couldn’t stop flipping through the album they put together for us. I think it still has gotten more views than our «official» wedding photos.
I’ve been to events in the past where you can tell that the photo booth operators wish they weren’t there — downers at heart, counting down the minutes until they can go home. NOT the case with Oh Snap! Oh Snap’s staff was AMAZING! Friendly, pleasant and personable with all the guests. And they kept things moving! We had about 85 people, ages 3 — 70+, and it seemed like everyone had a blast.
Note: No where along the process did David or his staff ask/​hint that we should provide meals for the booth staff. I decided to anyway. Everyone needs to be fed, to work well. Maybe a little goodwill just goes a long way, but I can’t say enough how much the Oh Snap! staff added to the fun of our wedding. Thank you guys!!!

I went to a wedding back in August that had the Oh Snap! Photo Booth. I noticed a few things right away that was different than other photo booths at other weddings.
First of all the name of the booth. That really caught my attention. Other photo booths either did not have a name or it was not memorable. I think that is important because it makes the photo booth company really stand out.
Next was the way the photo booth looked. The outside of the photo booth looked clean with the white color and designs on it. The inside was also roomy and clean.
Something else I appreciated from this photo booth compared to the other ones I had seen were the props! They had a rubber chicken, hat with propeller, giant bow tie, and many other funny props that my friends and I enjoyed. I saw an older couple use the booth right before us and the husband came out wearing a king’s hat and holding a rubber chicken. I thought that was hilarious!
The actual picture taking was a smooth easy process. The staff was very helpful in telling us to look at the lens not the screen, which is common sense, but I was about to look at the screen. The pictures came out clean, one copy for the bride and groom and one copy for us.
All in all I had a good experience from Oh Snap! Photo Booth. I would highly recommend hiring them for your next event you and your guests will have fun!

We hired Oh Snap! Photo Booth for our Sept 2010 wedding. I had email and talked to David and he was great to deal with. Everything looked good on paper so I signed right up.
Now for the wedding day when Oh Snap! was there, folks had a blast! My wife and I couldn’t put down the scrapbook of all the photos taken from the event. We could tell people had a great time with the booth.
David’s crew that set up the booth and ran it throughout the night were awesome. Professional, funny, tentative and kept the flow going of the people going in and out of the booth. They made sure everything was operational and was running smoothly. We went into the booth a few times ourselves and had a great time.

We had Oh Snap at our wedding on ⁴⁄₂₄ in Temecula (although I believe they do both NorCal and SoCal weddings). The Oh Snap guys were great about taking care of all the logistics behind the scenes and we didn’t hear about some of the difficulties with transportation and loading/​unloading the booth until after the wedding (thankfully!).
David was our main point of contact and he had us send him our engagement pictures (portrait orientation preferred) to display on the outside. He coordinated with our stationery designer (Whimsical Thumb) to get our logo/​monogram that they put on the booth.
Our guests loved the booth– I think it was especially a hit with some of the little ones who apparently took picture after picture… after picture. I like how they print out two of each picture so that we (the couple) get to see the pictures everyone took and in a nice scrapbook too. We didn’t do a traditional guestbook, so this was a nice little souvenir for us.

This is a wedding reception MUST-​HAVE. Maybe even more than party favors.
–It’s fun! Something about taking pictures in a photobooth is so exciting. It’s not the same as taking the pictures with your camera…
–It’s fast. I think we came out, don’t know how long we waited but definitely was surprised when I saw that it already came out less than a minute after.
–It’s reliable. No technical difficulties or glitches.
–You can even cancel and take your pictures over if you don’t like them! And you can fit 8 people. Hahaha maybe not comfortably but we managed to do that… :)
Sometimes we forgot to look at the camera because we were looking at ourselves in the screen. But other than that it’s really awesome.
DO IT. You won’t regret it!

After many weddings with various photo booths, I sort of got over the craze… after all, there’s only so many photos you can take, right?
WRONG!
haha. well, I guess there are. but I’m not there yet.
Anyway, I was very impressed with this booth’s roominess, use of technology, and the options offered afterwards. The easy accessibility of colorful pens, sticky tape, and slicing the pictures made it quite quick and painless to leave a lasting mark in my friend’s wedding scrapbook.
Also, the photo booth allowed the option of retaking pictures and zooming in and out. Its appearance was quite fresh and sturdy and didn’t look or feel dirty, sticky, cheap, or anything like that.
They offered props as well in a box that I saw other people use (I didn’t; I prefer my pictures’ hilarity to exude from my own ingenuity. HA!)
The photo quality was great (in color) but I wish they had the option of printing out more than just 2. Especially when you have loads of people crammed in there (the most was 8 boys and girls), it would be nice to be able to get a tangible keepsake for each person AND for the scrapbook (although we knew they’d be available digitally later).
Anyway, I heard a lot about it and was initially skeptical, but I must say that this photo booth sort of combined all the fun things of other photo booths. and I hear it’s quite affordable as well!

I just came back from a wedding this weekend and experienced Oh Snap! for the first time. Here’s my review:
Pros:
*It doesn’t look tacky like some other ones I’ve seen at other weddings
*They have a touch screen TV and good technology
*Cool feature where you can re-​take your pictures if you don’t like them.
*Cushion seat inside!
*Can fit a lot of your friends at once & fun props
*You can customize your photobooth to stand out
Cons:
*You get two pictures but they come attached and you have to cut it yourself. They provide a cutting board for you and it takes like 5 seconds but it would be more convenient if they were 2 pre-​cut pictures.
* …nothing else really
I can’t say much about their service but the owners seem like very reliable and fun people. If you’re looking for a photobooth for your event, I’d highly recommend Oh Snap!

And so I did. More times than is probably fair for the rest of the guests at the wedding.
Things I liked compared to other photobooths:
— cushiony seat
— good lighting inside booth (even after the sun went down at the outdoor reception)
— reviewing pictures and optional retake
— super fast printing! (seriously! so much faster than past photobooths I’ve tried at weddings)
— fun props and signs (this is how I ended up taking so many pictures… it was just so tempting to try new props)
— photo guestbook table was really well-​organized with lots of pens in bright colors and pages spread out so I didn’t have to wait in line to sign it
The only thing that made me sad was having to wait in line to take pictures, because everyone else wanted to take pictures too.

What a cool concept (and name for a company)! Talk about having something DIFFERENT at your wedding, school event, kids’ birthday party, etc. Who doesn’t like their photo taken, especially when you can be silly with your friends? Do people really want to take home monogrammed cookies or wine stoppers? Why not have them take home a great picture/​memento from your special day, and keep a copy for the guestbook/​scrapbook too? 2 birds with 1 stone ;-)
