Specialties

Savor Life at NEWTREE Café. Breakfast, lunch and coffee break: we’ve got you covered from sunrise to sunset.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the dishes we daily prepare for you in our own kitchen. Crafted with the freshest, organic, local and seasonal ingredients, our offer covers your breakfast, lunch and coffee break. Among our selection of sandwiches, salads, soups, pastries and coffees, we also have many gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.

By the way, did we mention we also make our own organic and fair-trade chocolate? Don’t miss our «Chocolate Wall»: complimentary tastings of our finest Belgian chocolates all day.

History

Established in 2001.

Newtree was born in Brussels, Belgium. Its founder, Benoît de Bruyn, combined his lifelong appreciation for the natural world and a strong background in bioengineering to create pure, delectable and healthy chocolates. One year later, Newtree began to expand and export in Europe.

In 2012, Newtree changed its recipes to become organic, fair trade and carbon neutral, created new packagings and presented a new headline: «Savor Life».

In May 2012, Newtree opened its first a café and chocolate shop in San Francisco (1 Ecker St). In February 2015, a second café and chocolate shop is born in San Francisco (345 California St).
