I chose Neva’s beauty strictly based on Unilocal reviews to get my first set of lashes and am so happy with the results! I’ve been in there to get a few fills over the past few months and each time the ladies are super friendly and accommodating– always offering water or a blanket to keep me warm while I’m laying in the chair. My lashes last for at least 4 weeks (I take good care of them), so I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. Each time I am there for a fill I end up falling asleep while I’m laying on the table!

I was getting a mani/​pedi at another salon a couple of months ago, when I noticed this woman — a fellow customer — with movie star lashes. I couldn’t stop staring! Luckily, someone else noticed too and asked her about them, and she said she’d gotten them done by Neva.
I had started getting lash extensions since a decade ago, and was addicted to them for a while, but had given up eventually as they required too much upkeep.
That said, I do love the convenience, and that woman’s lashes made quite an impression. So I called Neva and made a same day appointment.
Neva did a fantastic job on my lashes. I got the top of the line 3D, which should last about 3 weeks. The lashes are so light that I don’t even feel them. They also feel very soft and look amazingly full. Love it! Neva spent a good two hours on me, and as you can see from the photos, my lashes went va-​va-​voom! Thanks Neva!

I love Neva! She does an amazing job on my lashes every single time. She is very precise and a perfectionist when applying them and always takes her time (sometimes for a fill, I’m there over an hour) but the end result is always amazing. I get so many compliments on them and have referred them to go see her. Wan (not sure how to spell her name) is great too.
Recently, she got new, darker mink lashes that are also lighter in weight and I can definitely feel the difference. Either one she uses look really good. I’m SO over strip lashes! Thank you Neva :)

I just recently got my eyelashes done here and it was definitely not what I had expected. The next day my eyelashes (false ones) started to come out. They pretty much been coming out ever since. This isn’t the first time I’ve had eyelash extensions before and I know how to care for them. Maybe the glue used here is cheap. The place is okay inside but I would not recommend this place for eyelash extensions.

I got a CND Vinylux 10 Day mani pedi here, and they did not use a base coat, nor did they use the CND Vinylux 10 Day brand top coat that is meant to go with the polish. My nails chipped within 3 days. Additionally, they charged me an extra fee for choosing CND Vinylux 10 Day, despite the fact that they didn’t even apply it properly. Tacky. Thi on Sutter street is a better option in the neighborhood, and they don’t charge extra for 10 Day polish.

Let me preface this by saying I’m in no way a mani/​pedi expert, and typically only treat myself once every several months. I had a bit of an odd experience though.
1. The pedi: the woman who did the pedicure was very nice and did a pretty solid job bringing my toes out of the dark ages of winter. She was efficient without being sloppy, and I have no complaints about the polish job — it’s been holding solid for 4 days now.
2. The mani: this woman was really surly and kept making annoyed faces at me when I would twitch from the serious tickling going on with my pedicure or adjust my seat. I felt like I was deeply inconveniencing her by existing. She completely destroyed one of my cuticles — it’s still shredding — and the paint job is pretty sloppy, even to an untrained eye like mine. However, it too has made it 4 days with no chips, so that’s pretty good. When she finished painting, she just up and bounced — no fan, no fast-​dry spray, nothing. I sat there with my fingers fanned for like 30 minutes and then made a bunch of noise so someone would come get my wallet out of my bag. It was quite awkward.
3. The vibe: the polish display is a bit of a disaster — bottles hanging out on multiple racks and in the window display, which cannot be good for the polish itself (sun + polish = no good, in my experience). If you’re looking for a specific color, it will probably a serious excavation. Also, no magazines around for your celeb gossip pleasure, which is half the reason I get my nails done, so bummer.
4. The price: I think it was $ 33 for the regular mani and pedi, which seems solid. However, it’s a competitive market and since I didn’t have such an odd experience at Tina’s a block away, I think I’ll go back there next time instead.

They are all so welcoming here, which isn’t always the case at and nail salons. Lots of times the technicians don’t really care to know you, or even recognize you even if you come time and time again… Not the case here! :)
I get a manicure, pedicure, and eyelash extensions here, all of which I am very happy with!
Holly does my eyelash extensions, and she does beautiful work! I have never done them anywhere else but I have converted friends to this salon for there eyelashes, who had gone to another salon in the past, because they love mine so much.

This place is ok, I tried the gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was kind of uncomfortable because of the chair and the lady was rushing it a little bit. The manicure was ok but It won’t last long. There’re a lot of places around better and with better prices!

I got a shellac mani/​reg pedi this past weekend.
The color selection here is terrific!
I give the pedi 3 stars because my favorite part is the massage it lasted about 30 seconds per leg and was more like a lotion application. The polish was not applied at thickly as I like, and some of the nail shows through the neon orangey-​pink color I got.
The cost is competitive for the area, I’ll be coming back because it’s so close to my apartment/​convenient.

Neva does the best eyelash extensions and eyebrow waxing. I starting coming here about a year and a half ago and now I won’t let anyone else touch my eyebrows! I also LOVE my eyelash extensions — they look incredible and they feel great. I go see Neva once a month to get these done and now I’m addicted. Neva’s is much more reasonably priced than many other places and their work is very high quality. I highly highly recommend this place.

There’s really only one way to say it: I LOVE NEVA’S!
This place has been my one-​stop-​shop for years now and I couldn’t be happier. I came for Neva’s incredible brazilian waxing skills, but I’ve stayed for the overall service and convenience. Every month I go in for an sugar underarm wax, sugar brazillian wax, mani & pedi. I’ve been holding off on getting my eyelashes done because I know I’ll get addicted to that too.
All of the ladies at Neva’s are welcoming and professional. They will really listen to your individual needs and are willing to make any adjustments necessary to ensure you get a high-​quality experience. All you have to do is ask. You get exactly what you pay for at Neva’s. Their pricing matches the ambiance of the facility, the skills of the technicians, and the overall quality of their services.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I LOVE NEVA’S :)

Neva’s beauty is a great place to go for waxing eye brows and sugaring. of course due to the locations, prices are way high. I always get my eyebrows done here and they are always on point! Thank you! And I get sugaring done by Carrie she’s amazing! She does a great job in less than 20mins. The best I ever had. I’ve had done by Neva once because Carrie wasn’t there– no big deal cuz I had to go out of town that weekend so I didn’t care. Woah that’s was all bad. I know she’s the owner but how does her workers do a more of painless job than her? I left that place exhausted because my nerves were shot. Kinda scary… Lesson learned. Stick with what you know… So I’ll stick with Carrie thx. And note how they don’t have prices for anything up. Kinda shady on that part because that only means they charge accordingly.

Tried the sugar brazillian wax, which takes longer but is better on sensitive skin. However, it’s a bit pricey at $ 70, where I’m used to paying $ 45 in the FiDi for non-​sugar waxes.

What is wrong with people? I LOVE this place. I need to preface this by saying that I’ve been getting my lashes done for over 7 years now, long before this lash trend ever even got popular. I’ve been to tons of different lash bars throughout the Bay Area and I have also paid a variety of prices but once I came across Neva’s, my search ended. I’ve been coming to both locations for almost three years now. I don’t even live in the city and I work it into my schedule to make sure I get my Neva fix in.
Reasonable prices and straight quality. Quality of people, work, supplies — I’ve spent entire afternoons here getting my lashes, eyebrows, waxing, manicures, and pedicures done. By the way, to make me love them even more I just discovered that Neva is THE eyebrow specialist. Talk about shaping and reshaping my sparse eyebrows into a beautiful work of art. I had never in my life even considered getting my eyebrows tattooed but am super happy that I did. My eyebrows don’t look tattooed at all, just very natural and I finally have a beautiful arch to go with the shape of my face. To Neva and ALL the girls, you are all sweethearts, so personable and you make me feel like family when I walk in. Love you guys!

I’ve been twice to Neva’s now, once for eyelash perm/​dye, then again for brow shape/​tinting. I have super light sensitive eyes, which makes the perm part tricky as I blink a lot and can’t really relax my eyes well, but Neva rose to the occasion. She called over an assistant to basically stand over me for the entire procedure with a shield that threw a shadow over my face and kept too much light from hitting my eyes– above and beyond the call of duty. She also did a great job shaping my brows. $ 20 for the dyeing, $ 15 for the shaping. Super professional, excellent results.

I would like to share my awful customer service experience here. I got the «full set lash extensions» for the very first time for a wedding on Saturday, August 23^rd. They say it takes 90 minutes, but mine were done in 1 hour and 5 minutes. The lashes should last 2 – 3 weeks. By Thursday, they were 25% gone. SInce I had never had lashes done before, I didn’t know if this was «normal» or not. I went out of town since it was Labor Day and being on vacation, I didn’t have the time to call Neva to discuss and figured I could call when I returned on Monday ⁹⁄₁.
On Monday, 9/​1, while I was at work, I contacted Neva and sent her photos of the lashes at her request. After seeing the photos, she offered to have me come back in within the week to 1) repair/​fill in the lashes at no charge or 2) replace the lashes with another type of «natural» material lashes (I think she meant mink, but I am not sure) for $ 40. I told her I could text her with my schedule of when I could come in and I wanted to repair at no charge, not replace.
A few minutes later, I texted her that the soonest I could get away from work and come in was Thursday. She told me that by Thursday it would have been two weeks (not true, it would have been 12 days) and it wouldn’t be fair that they have to repair it after two weeks at no charge and then changed her mind and told me now I had to come in either today (Monday, Labor Day) or tomorrow (⁹⁄₂). I asked her what was the latest time she had tomorrow and she offered me 5/5:30pm at the Lombard location. I work downtown and had my initial lashes done at the Tenderloin location and that would have been very difficult for me to make in time. I couldn’t make that happen and she was insistent I had to come within the next day and ONLY to the Lombard location because the technician was booked up at Tenderloin for that day and tomorrow. This is really her scheduling issue and she could as the owner be flexible and just have me come in on Thursday at the original location but she was only looking at this from her business perspective of losing two more days where more lashes could fall out. She refused to offer a repair on Thursday. By this time, I am frustrated, but I want to get my lashes fixed and found a way to get out to the Lombard location that same day. It took me 45 minutes to get there from downtown.
When I arrived, the technician had me lay down and then asked Neva to come look at the lashes. After reviewing the lashes, she told me that the lashes looked about «normal» in the amount of lash loss for that amount of time. I told her that this was how it looked after four days, and she told me that I should have called her immediately if that was the case and by now it’s unclear. When I explained that I was on vacation, she countered that anywhere in the US/​Domestic region, you have reception (not true, but that’s not the point) and she told me they would not be repairing my lashes since it wasn’t fair to them. At this point, I have taken so much time out of my day to inquire about the lashes, communicate with her, meet her on her terms, and she refuses to fix my lashes.
I also work in the service industry, and if my client told me this happened I would give them the benefit of the doubt and as a courtesy fix the issue especially after you forced them to come out of their way to your other location and had them come in IMMEDIATELY on Labor Day. I left the place very upset and took 45 minutes for me to return downtown.
I would say Neva is rude and cut-​throat and very cost-​conscious and only sees things from a «business» perspective rather than a customer service perspective, which is what she ultimately the business she is in. After all that effort, I think as a business owner she should have repaired some of the lashes. Suffice it to say, this place has left a terrible impression on me for getting services done here and to work with an insufferable business owner who questions your word and basically accuses you of lying.

I would like to thank all the ladies at Nevas. They’ve been a part of my beauty team for almost 5 years. I always leave happy and excited to see the new & innovative techniques. All my girlfriends and I swear by Neva. Even my boyfriend goes in for monthly facials. I try to visit early in the day during the week. I get facials, eyelashes extensions, gel manicures, pedicures, callus removals, eyebrow shaping & waxing. Everyone makes me feel extra special with exceptional service and attention to details at a very fair price. Neva has Michelangelo’s touch & eye for beauty.

Have Lashes Will Travel…
When you’re on the road, or going on vacation, the last thing you really want to worry about is putting on make up.
So I usually get my lashes done for long trips to save time getting ready. If you’ve never gotten them, it’s like an instant refresh, you — just a better version of you.
Takes about an hour and ½ to get a complete set. You come in and lay down on a bed. You can also get your nails and eyebrow wax at the same time, which saves you hours at the nail salon.

Best prices for lashes that I’ve found in SF.
No one will know you got your lashes done, but don’t be surprised if you get some extra compliments!

Disclaimer: I’m kind of picky when it comes to my nail places.
I went to Neva’s Beauty after a quick errand and decided to try it out before a girls weekend. I got a gel mani, pedi and eyebrow wax. I would give 4 stars for the mani, 2 stars for the pedi, and 2 stars for the eyebrow wax.
The gel mani was fine it seems like it was applied well, she took her time, the only thing wrong was that she applied lotion and massaged after my color. The lotion left my mani looking cloudy and not fresh. Your manicure should look it’s best the second you leave the salon and then it’s all down hill from there but it’s nothing a little alcohol won’t fix.
The pedi was not my favorite. She didn’t real take much time to scrub my feet and there are still a lot of rough spots. The massage was more of a prolonged petting session with lotion.
I would not recommend this place for eyebrow waxing. She barely put any wax on my brows and then spent 15 minutes tweezing. Some people might mistake this for attention to detail, but it felt more like she was afraid of the wax. Also I feel like she didn’t really understand how to shape my brows esp. In the middle, and the experience left more to be desired.
Also their chairs are comfy but for the purposes of the services they create and awkward angle for your legs during pedicure.

I had never heard of Neva’s as this is their 2^nd location (the first is in the Marina on Lombard). I remembered seeing this one while walking around the neighborhood, but I could never remember the name to look it up later. So after foresaking a couple go-​to nail shops in the neighborhood, I decided to take a chance yesterday to seek a new go-​to nail shop. Well, I think I’ve found it!
It was quiet there the day after Christmas and it was perfect to try it out. I got my pedicure with a bright deep pink, and it was so relaxing. I was given a little bath with slices of cucumber and she used a sugar scrub, moisturizers and a warm towel — and the foot massage was heavenly. Awww… perfect.
She did a really good job on the nail color, and I think this one is going to last a long time. Neva’s offers other services like facials, eyebrows, waxing, full body massage — I can’t wait to explore!
