Excellent Organic juices, yummy salads, shots of healthy, to die for avocado toast. The service is great and friendly. The space is clean and inviting.

Nothing is cheap here, but I still find myself buying $ 8 smoothies because they’re so good! It hurts to be healthy here in SF. I haven’t tried their food, but I’m always tempted to as well, everything always looks very fresh. Do yourself a favor and try a smoothie(my favorite is the one with kale, its so smooth!).

I don’t know if it was the sunny walk over here, or the great company, but dang this place is good! They are keeping it simple. Great juices, great smoothies, and a few fresh salads. The salads are interesting, and don’t taste like refrigerator, but they are a little spendy. Instead, I go for the smoothies. That Sunshake? Oh em gee. Cocoa, sunflower butter, coconut milk. It’s the«occasionally health-conscious adult» version of chocolate milk. Get there!

Went for a run and found this place on my way home. If you are looking for super healthy clean food. This is your spot. They have smoothies, GREAT salads, and other healthy items. Service was ok and no wheatgrass, if your are wondering. My wife fell in love with their salads.

All I’ve had repeatedly here is their delicious Soba Salad. It’s always so fresh and made perfectly to order. I’ve also been able to beat the lunch rush arriving before noon each time too, which is a huge bonus. I’m curious about their smoothies and will have to sub that for the salad one of these days. Minus one star, as the salad is pricey considering it still is about a $ 13 salad with no protein option added.

My first California juice! I ordered the 8oz Rebecca Romaine juice, which contains spinach, romaine, pineapple, cucumber, ginger. The primary flavor is ginger. At $ 5 for 8oz, I do find it curious that the sign says«We support organic farms» but it does not state the ingredients’ provenance. After ordering, you queue on the side wall. It seems like there’s a standing counter but really there’s no room to eat there – if it was busy enough that there was no other seating, the side wall would be full of waiting customers. I would consider getting a salad or a smoothie here. The prices are high, but perhaps the norm in this area. The avocado toast has flaked sea salt, but does that really make it worth $ 7.50???

Everything here is good. The salads are $ 13.50−15, but huge and deliciously fresh. The avocado toast and persimmon toast are amazing. Soups — both curried butternut squash and lentil are super. Turmeric cayenne lemonade! Shakes/juices all great.

The food here is overpriced as others have mentioned, but portions are huge! I got an Asian chicken salad and had tons left over. Nothing too special but great flavors for a tasty and filling salad. The smoothies on the other hand are exceptional. I had the date lavender smoothie and it was fantastic. It was the perfect combination of flavors with just the right hint of lavender without overpowering. Overall great spot for a quick, healthy lunch.

YAY for healthy food nearby! I moved back to SF from LA a couple years ago, so I was missing the whole«green smoothie kale» trend. Working in FiDi there’s so many options, but was happy to find this place on Unilocal. The place itself is pretty plain but the service is great and quick! I got the You’ve Got Kale smoothie and spring rolls, came out to about $ 14 total. Yes, not cheap but DUH what do you expect in SF! As Arnold says, I’ll be back! And get a stamp card, I forgot to :*(lol

Food– ridiculous pricing, but looks delicious Juices– very fresh and actually reasonably prices for a juice shop. I won’t merit 4*s to Native Juice Co. because their food prices are just insane.

Soooo good! Sunflower butter toast is perfectly sized and tastes sooo good. Burnt sugar on top of the bananas and the walnut pieces in the bread make it over the top!

My favorite quickie lunch spot in the financial district. I like that not everyone knows about it(yet) :). Their avocado toasts and cold pressed juices are the best in the city. And great to-go salads, everything is so fresh. Love the minimal décor, very open and cozy at the same time.

I recently just started working in the financial district, with so many choices around, I decided to eat at native co. So happy that I did. I had the curry chicken salad with avocado toast. Yummy! Definitely coming back!

I’ve only had the chance to try two things so far here and they were both awesome. However there are a few things that i really dont like … 1. They close the kitchen at 3:30 which means you cant order food off the menu. Only juices and smoothie /: I almost never have an early lunch and i’d love to be able to come here more often for I am trying to have a more plant based diet. Also they close at 5): Now with my schedule changing with school i probably wont have lunch till 5 or 6 which means theyll be closed): 2. They have a small shelf area where you can pick up foods that are already made(which i LOVE) but most of the time there isnt much left on there /: im also not sure if they refill it after but the few times i have went there wasnt much left. /: Things i do like… 1. The Sunshake. Just get it. Seriously. Im one of those people who LOVVVEEEEESSSS a good chocolate milk shake & this is literally the healthy, just as delicious(or even more) version of it. It has sunflower butter, banana, natural cocoa powder, coconut milk & coconut water. There are different prices for different sizes. I usually get the small for $ 5. Will definitely look into trying the other ones but so far this is the winner. 2. The kale salad from the pre-made food shelf. Like i had stated above, the shelving area isnt always full and this happened to be the last salad there. It was $ 8. The portion itself wasnt that big but it was so delicious. It had a miso-lemon dressing(i think) that was so creamy and refreshing. I dont remember everything it had right now but it was really refreshing and had walnuts to give it the right amount of crunch. The avocado in it really gave it a nice creamy bite. I only wish that there had been even a tiny bit more of that dressing in the container. I really do love the foods i’ve had here so far and i’m really interested in trying the quinoa sushi, soba salad & spring rolls. Great job Native!

Fave, fave, fave. If I could, I’d come here everyday. This place has a great selection of smoothies, but more importantly, toasts & salads! Native is a place that earnestly proves to you that using good and whole ingredients shows through in how a dish tastes. They don’t skimp on anything so it’s definitely worth the hefty prices for a healthy meal. And to top it all off everyone is super friendly! Get a stamp card if you plan on returning(I did)!

Spring rolls! God, I die. Native Juice is hands down the best option in the financial district for healthy and delicious food. They source most ingredients directly from local organic farmers(so unusual! I don’t think The Plant can say the same). I first started visiting Native at the farmer’s market in Marin and am so pleased that they have a city option as well. The space is beautiful and the badass women co-owners are Bay Area natives and such hard workers. Some reviews complain about wait-times, but if you are prepared for this going in, I think the waits are reasonable for the quality of food. Most importantly, I love the way I feel after eating at Native. They know how to make things healthy but still filling… a hard balance to strike. Well done!

On the morning walk to find a greasy, delicious bacon filled breakfast sandwich, I somehow ended up at Native Co instead. And believe me, it was a much better choice for my body and energy levels before a day of flying back East. My colleague and I shared the smashed avocado toast which was a thing of beauty(and unexpected bursts of flavor): heaps of avocado on pain au levain, dotted with maldon sea salt, lemon zest, micro greens, and chili flakes. Savory, spicy, hearty, and altogether wonderful. I also opted for the You’ve Got Kale smoothie with kale, pineapple, banana, coconut milk, and coconut water. It was a bit rich first thing in the morning but overall tasted great. Definitely a fulfilling breakfast on my last day in San Francisco!

Only 2 stars because: — no phone so I could do the 5 block hike there just to find out that they’re out of the one thing I wanted — no online or phone orders so it’s a 40 minute commitment to go there, wait in line, order, etc. Just not busy business-district friendly operating and service model compared to other options so even though they’re my favorite for juice and smoothies, I never go unless I literally have all day.

Despite how much I’ve loved everything I’ve eaten at Native Co, I have to admit I was teetering between three and four stars in my review. Like I said, the food is amazing. The ambiance, right up my alley as well with its white walls, tall ceilings, and simple furnishings. But every time I’ve been there I haven’t been thrilled with the service. It’s either been very absentminded, with mixed up orders and missing items, or just plain unfriendly. Not full on jerky, mind you, just… unhappy looking. Nary a smile to be seen. You’d think these people would be in better moods considering they’re around so many happy fruits and veggies and are charging upwards of $ 15 for a salad. But, with the food firmly at 5+ stars, it’s only fair that I meet halfway at a solid 4 stars. On to the food, since I know that’s what you care about(and probably skipped over that entire first paragraph to read about). I recommend the following: — You’ve Got Kale smoothie — Popeye on Vacation in Thailand smoothie(bonus points for extremely creative smoothie name) — House Special juice(for those of you who like your juices really green) — Native salad(make sure they’ve included everything, especially the valuable avocado… the last one I had was missing it!) — Soba salad(probably my fave item though it’s also probably the least healthy) — Smashed avocado toast And make sure to try any of the special toasts they’re offering. I loved the one I had with Burrata. Eat, drink, and be healthy! Just don’t let the unsmiling faces behind the counter get you down!

They have juicing/detox drinks. Exactly what I needed close by while working in the area to grab for the lunch day! Horse with no name dandelion, ginger and other veggies was what I got. The color brown is not so nice. Mind the color, but the gingery drink was what I was looking for. They have other bite-able foods if you are looking for something to munch on. A healthy option spot.

Whenever I’m in SF for work, I am always on the hunt for a healthy food option! It’s so easy to stuff my face with unhealthy food and drink that I’m completely delighted by the thought of having a salad during the workday. While asking around about nearby lunch options my co-worker told me about Native Co which she frequents at least once a week. My friend and I decided to split an Asian chicken salad and one their specials, a toast topped with heirloom tomatoes and burrata cheese. The toast was my favorite of the two, mostly because anything with burrata is an instant winner in my book! The chicken salad was less than exciting and we actually ended up leaving most of it behind. It was bland and really needed a better dressing to make it more interesting. I’ll most likely order a different salad next time I return and try one of their fresh juices. Service was decent and the space is sparse. You’ll easily find a seat if you’re dining by yourself or with another person, not so much for groups. Cheers to making healthy choices and not needing that after lunch recovery nap!

My preferred meals are: brunch and dinner. That’s it. I don’t really do lunch or lunch foods. If I have to do something in the middle of the day and call it «lunch» I’d rather it be light — like a smoothie. So when a friend recommended Native Co., I was delighted(impressed that she was so thoughtful, and touched that she came with me). I was instantly struck upon entering Native Co. how minimalist and stark it is(usually this word is used in a negative connotation, in this instance I use it in the absolute best most refreshing and appreciated way possible). Entirely white walls, thin light brown tables, and no decorations. Just perfect for what they do and serve. It felt clean, they served clean food, and I felt good upon leaving(neither overstimulated or weighed down). Yes! However, this is one of those places that I was a little too much like a kid in a candy store at. I wasn’t prepared for all the options(the website’s menu is seriously misleading), so I chose the avocado toast and a berry smoothie that was on the specials board. It hit the spot perfectly(and allowed me to fool myself into believing it was brunch). My friends Sunshake smoothie(made with sunflower butter, banana, natural cocoa powder, and both coconut milk and water) was decadent and tasted like dessert(and SO something my s.o. would have loved); her sesame soba salad was also tasty, but not really my cup of wheatgrass. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in SF(I’ve got a date with the kombucha and sushi here). Finally, just as a side note: I don’t know if it’s because I’m a vegetarian and am used to paying a bit for food, but I thought the prices were fine — my local juicery/smoothie shop here in Maine charges anywhere from $ 6 to 8 per drink; so, given that this is California and a big city, I think the $ 6 to $ 10 price tag seems appropriate. If I lived closer I would probably make this my lunch destination and work my way through the entire menu!

The juice and smoothie bars are stepping up their game and I love it. In addition to creative smoothie combinations, there are salads and sandwiches with locally sourced, organic ingredients. I like the seasonal quinoa salad and when I’m ready to splurge on lunch, the Native Salad is my favorite. It’s difficult to put a price on health, but your wallet will start feel the difference if you come here everyday. Native Co’s green juices and fruit smoothies are vibrant in color and always a great addition to my day. I usually opt for the fruit centric smoothies and one of my coworkers just recommended the watermelon juice special with lime and mint, which is delightfully refreshing. Healthy and tasty options at an ascetically pleasing location — sounds like a wonderful SF lunch destination to me!

Wow! Smoothie-Himmel!

So simple yet such a pure concept. No need for an over the top menu or concept. Native screams simplicity with a touch of perfection. Featuring a menu of tasty, desirable healthy options you can be sure to find something to make your body feel pure and healthy. Walk on in and note the clean steamed lines all across from the décor to the design. No need to fill it up with fluff or filler. They know what they’re doing. Their fresh pressed juices were delicious and left me feeling like Rocky Balboa ready to conquer the world with the nutrients and taste of veggies and fruit. For those who are in a rush, no need to fear, Native has you in the clear. They have a dedicated to-go area for those who can’t wait for a freshly made menu item. (It’s honestly worth the wait but to each their own) Don’t come in here looking for non-healthy items, this is not your semi healthy joint. Overall I loved the atmosphere created for those who want to eat clean without the awkward encounters of having someone stuff their face with delicious greasy food. Allows me to focus on my healthy game!

I must admit, I crave Native every. single. day.* The only thing stopping me from realizing my dreams of sesame-soba salad and lavender smoothies on the regular is those dollar signs. Being healthy in the Bay Area ain’t cheap, ya know? Their $ 5 fresh juices are a bargain in my book, but the $ 13 – 15 salads are a little harder to swallow.** Now, some would say«You can’t put a price on your health!» And my argument is, «Agreed! But having a roof over my head is also good for my health, so I’ll opt to pay my mortgage and utilities first.» Then, the meager leftover shekels can go into my high class health food fund. Fine. So, if money is not an issue, pleeeeease eat up at Native! It’s the best kind of food you can put in your body and it tastes divine too. Even some of my manly-men co-workers are diggin’ on their protein packed smoothies and fresher-than-fresh salads. They make health food a virtuous addiction at Native. Next time I find $ 20 in an old pair of jeans at Goodwill’s(yep, it happens) I’m taking myself on a Native date and celebrating karma. *Ok, there are some days when I crave only deep-fried potatoes and Neapolitan milkshakes, Lord help me. **Note: I fully expect to look back at this review 5 years from now and say«$ 15 salads! Damn, what was I whining about… those were the good ol’ days!»

I love that Native Co exists. I do. I swear. From that bright and minimalist aesthetic to the healthy food offerings, I fell for Native Co immediately. Their smoothies, juices, salads, specialty toasts and so forth wooed and impressed. What’s the problem then? There’s a few that has sadly loosened the spell I was under before. — It takes forever — a good problem to have since you know they’re making your food fresh, but you’re waiting a good 20 minutes for your food, without a doubt. — It’s super pricy. I’m talking $ 15 for a salad, $ 8 – 9 for toasts and $ 5 – 6 for a small smoothie. That’s a lot of dough, yo. — Consistency is off. One day your salad will be brimming with avocado and the next there may be none. Pfffffff. — Their bedside manner is off. I don’t need ass kissing, but a smile? A thank you? They are definitely a bit rough around the edges here. The soba salad is king. The smoothies are all good and unique with lots of great and fresh ingredients like lavender, spirulina, dates, kale, coconut water and on. The burratta and pea toast was great, although overpriced. You can order fresh made fare, but they also have some pre-made salads and noodles to go. Kombucha? They got it. Looking to be healthy? Look no further, but it’s gonna cost you and be prepared for disappointment when one day your order isn’t quite what you expected.

Native opening near my office is pretty much the best thing to happen to my weekday lunch rotation this year! Long a fan of their You’ve Got Kale smoothie(kale, pineapple, banana, coconut milk, coconut water), it’s excellent to see them branching out beyond juice to serve nourishing, plant-based food. On my first visit I had the veggie sandwich and the pea and coconut soup on special. Both were bursting with fresh vegetables and packed with flavor. You will not be in a food coma when you return to your desk after lunch at Native! I can’t wait to return and sample their spring rolls, sushi and salads.

Huge thank you to Jessica T for introducing me to what is sure to be a regular healthy fuel stop on my rotation when I visit San Francisco. On this very first visit, I enjoyed the Asian Chicken Salad and tasted the beet salad as well… Both were full of flavor, freshness, color, and all around healthy goodness. The staff was friendly and I love the very casual but clean atmosphere. This is a order at the counter type of place but if you are eating in, the staff will deliver your food /drinks to you at your table of choice. There is plenty more on the menu that I cannot wait to explore including the juice, smoothies, and additional food options too. As a matter of fact, I think that avocado toast may be calling me now… until next time, Native Juice! PS — if you’re reading this, NJ, and thinking about expanding outside of California, can I please put a suggestion in to open in Phoenix? That would make me very very happy… and likely a bit healthier too ;)

Love that more healthy food and drink options are opening up downtown. Dropped in this new establishment across from the Crocker Galleria craving for some green juice. Their drinks come in four sizes: 8oz, 12oz, 16oz &20oz ranging in price from $ 5.50 to $ 12.75. Steep as expected, but at least it’s freshly pressed! They also have a selection of breakfast, toast sandwiches & salad options which I’ll be sure to try on my next visit. There’s a grab and go cooler with ready made kombucha, yogurts & salads. I chose the 16oz «kale in comparison»(note: every drink item on the menu is cleverly named) which has kale, cucumber, apple, fennel, lemon, and mint. Tasted very refreshing and not too sweet. Love the herbal kick from the fennel and mint. It wasn’t too busy when I came in around noon on a Friday. My drink took about 7 min to come out. Nice open seating — kind of cafeteria style. Most customers just ordered their items to go. I’ll definitely frequent this place often during my work week!

:Reactions of three very different people after trying the Smooth Lavendator Smoothie(banana, date, lavender infused coconut milk, coconut water): Jessica T: OMG. So what’s up. Great choice. Me: Whoa. Yeah, It’s actually really good. Doesn’t taste like soap at all. My Ungrateful Roommate(who the smoothie was actually for): What’s this flavor experience? I can’t figure out that poison taste. So it may not be for everyone, but it’s def a fave among 100% of the orange-haired ladies polled, and I feel like that should mean something. I came here after pretty much everyone I work with suggested we get salads for lunch(AGAIN), to which I just couldn’t bring myself to be excited about, so Jessica and I came to Native Juice for a little something to tide us over… which actually turned into me ordering 3 meals for myself and the aforementioned smoothie for my ungrateful roommate(you’re welcome, btw). Turns out, they have so much more than juice here. I saddled up with(ironically enough after the fit I threw about group salads) a salad and this crazy good avocado toast + Juice. Order rundown below, but you can skip the reading and just go now. They’ve got toasts, noodle dishes, breakfast sammies, and more and the salads here are all pretty unique to the point where I’ll now rethink my eye roll during the next office-time lunch when someone suggests them again next week. //Kale In Comparison Juice(kale, cucumber, apple, fennel, lemon, mint) — I got the largest size, which is hella ripping on my budget but it was good and I felt alive and upbeat after drinking it so I’d consider it 300% worth it the mood stabilizer. //Smooth Lavendator(banana, date, lavender infused coconut milk, coconut water) — Despite what my roommate said, I think he liked it and that was just his own way of finding the strangest and most distant way possible to say thank you. It was super good and totally not something I’d ever have ordered for myself before but it was a game changer. //Kale Salad(kale, carrots, parsley, cilantro, pepitas, ginger miso dressing) — As previously alluded to, I hate salads. I think they’re boring and I’ve never in my entire life been in the mood or satisfied by a salad but this was another gem and the portion was as hearty as any other normal food-type meal. //Smashed Avocado Toast(pain au levain, Maldon sea salt, lemon zest, micro greens, chili flakes) — Sh*t. It was so good and spicy and salty and zesty which is a tri-combo of all my favorite things to taste. It’ll be hard to not order this every single time. Pretty excited to come here every week I“m in the office and never have to contemplate a boring salad ever again. Bonus because my current fave song was playing on my first visit( ).
