Wonderful group of experts, staff is extremely personable and friendly. Dr Shore and the entire team provides excellent service. Our recent visit was with Ona Ahumada N.P.
She is absolutely patient, thorough in asking questions, identifies the issue and immediately address with a follow up as needed. She is an asset to this team. Friendly, engaging, caring, warm personality and genuinely cares for her patients. This team here are all like her. My family will ask for her if she is available to us. She is super cool too! If they accept new patients — this is the must group to watch over you!

Referred to this group by my previous doctor who unfortunately fell ill. The personal attention and follow up that I was used to receiving was, unfortunately, lost in the transition
Called, in a great deal of pain, requesting something my previous doctor would prescribe routinely, Had to call again just to get the response, which was that I was not being given what I had requested, but was instead prescribed a drug which I had told the new physician, on my initial visit, gave me problems.
Evidently checking charts isn’t part of the service.
I will say that the finishes in the office are very nice, however I can’t help but feel like they are offsetting the cost of the finishes through their hiring practices.
Needless to say can’t find a newer physician fast enough…

Save yourself aggravation. Avoid MyHealth Medical Group.
My former doctor suddenly retired and transferred my medical records to My Health. This wouldn’t have been so bad except they never told me they had them until a year later. (I never received a form letter that they supposedly sent my former doctor’s patients.) When I contacted them to get my medical records, they wanted to charge me $ 35 for the records. I complained that I didn’t ask for my records to be transferred and they didn’t give me any notice. It took several phone calls and emails to finally get my records. I only learned they had my records when My Health wanted to know why I hadn’t scheduled an appointment with them yet. Needless to say, I didn’t feel they were really concerned about my well-​being.
When my new doctor requested my medical records, My Health took two months to get back to him and subsequently notify me that they were going to bill me for the records. Again, usually when you are going to be charged for something, the biller will contact you first. Not My Health. They just sent me the bill for $ 35.
The billing and office staff take forever to get back to you. If they take this much time just to send your records out or return a call, how helpful do you think they’ll be when you want to see a doctor?

My Health Medical group billed my vaccination under the wrong physician and therefore I lost out on $ 250 when my health plan considered it out of network… they were not proactive at all in identifying or fixing the problem. Thus I have spent over 8 hours of my time calling their multiple billing departments, receptionists, supervisors, etc. to fix the billing issue and it still has not been solved as of today (which is 5 months after my visit). The care is average but the service is absolutely horrendous and confusing… worst service I have experienced from any medical care provider

Impressed. Great service from the appointment person, to the front desk, to the nurse to the doc. Very friendly, took their time on visit, executed on Rx call-​in and lab test in a quick manner. Very impressed. Kudos!

I recently had my very first appointment and everything was great. Ona was especially wonderful in assisting me and taking care of me during my appointment. She was especially kind hearted, warm and incredibly friendly. She was thorough during my appointment and just went above and beyond any expectation I had. I look forward my next appointment. I highly recommend this place, Ona, the staff and all of the doctors.

My review is regarding Sparkles, I am a new patient and trying to get all the specialists I need… before that happened I needed immediate care for an extremely painful knee, she combed thru choices an got me in before the dreaded week end and was pleasant whiled doing so…
so far things have been great with this group getting referrals I need.

I almost gasped when the employee at My Health announced her name was Sparkles.
All sense of decorum, professionalism, evaporated.
I requested my files be sent to me… took weeks and numerous phone calls. Have heard same complaint from a colleague.

This review is for Dr. Khanna and Juvi. I started going to Dr. Khanna over a year ago after being with my former primary care doctor for over 20 years. I was nervous about finding someone new since I had such a long and close relationship with my former physician but Dr. Khanna has been wonderful. She has been very attentive to my concerns and medical needs. She listens to everything I have to say and gives me intelligent, effective, and reasonable suggestions and treatments. I never feel rushed or ignored. I also love Juvi, her top-​notch nurse. She was fantastic at putting me at ease and explained e everything I wanted to know about the hearing test and EKG that she administered. I always get my prescription refills and my referrals for specialists promptly. I have also been able to get in to see her nurse practitioner within 24 hours for fantastic urgent care. Once, I was actually seeing her less than half an hour after I called! I have been exceedingly happy with my healthcare at Dr. Khanna’s office.

I didn’t even make it to a doctor bc the scheduling was so terrible. For my first appointment I showed up at 7:45 am for an 8:05 appointment. I went in early to fill out paperwork. At 8:30, I was told that Ona Ahunada called out sick so I would have to reschedule. I needed some refills so they let me see a different doctor for that. (after I told them I had to) They seemed sorry so I made a new appointment for today. When I called this morning to confirm, they didn’t have me in the system and said it was cancelled. I never cancelled. Two mess ups and I am not going back.

My practitioner, Dr. Bhandari left the practice but I stayed with My Health Medical group — huge mistake. Stay away from My Health Medical Group! Let me list the problems with this office — 1) you will never get a live person on the phone 2) you will never get a return phone call no matter how many messages you leave 3) you will be sent for lab tests and not get notified if one comes back positive (in my case a positive colon cancer test– I discovered the lab result accidentally when I went onto the online portal months later, was only then rushed in for a colonoscopy 4) you have to beg to be referred — i.e. my hands were turning numb, I had to literally BEG them for an MRI and referral to a back specialist… lo and behold the MRI showed a bulging disc in my neck. Why should the patient have to BEG?! 5) simple requests don’t get done (in particular by Michael, their office assistant). Oh, and Michael doesn’t return calls either.
Bottom line — disorganized office, poor service, don’t care about the patients concerns. Stay away!!!

It’s really unfortunate that I like my doctor so much (Dr. Maria Samsonov), and her office staff so little.
It wasn’t always this way, but when Dr. Lindes left the practice I had to choose a new provider.
I saw Amanda Kelly once who was wonderful, as are the other nurse practitioners, but back to the office staff.
I made an appointment for a yearly physical and PREVENTATIVE blood work with Dr. Lindes, after which I received an $ 800 bill from the lab. Apparently someone coded it as diagnostic which is not covered. Thankfully I WENT INTO THE OFFICE WITH THE BILL, and the nice receptionist said she would find out what was going on and get it fixed. She did — awesome.
Fast forward a year and a half later when I go in, again for a physical because I’m feeling abnormally tired and am told the doctor will order PREVENTATIVE blood work that is covered in my yearly physical. Instead I get another lab bill and a diagnosis of severe anemia. Well ok, I’ll pay the lab bill since it’s $ 100 and see what the office says this time.
Well I get circular phone calls from a person named Michael who is smitten with his argumentative circular reasoning and tells me that the doctor wants follow up blood work. I tell him about the bill and ask what follow up tests and if they’re covered and am told I have to check my insurance coverage.
HELLO? I don’t know what the tests are or why she wants them and now you’re telling me I should just call my insurance to find out, that you guys don’t call insurance companies to check coverage? THEN WHY DID YOUR OFFICE INSIST ON TAKING A COPY OF MY INSURANCE CARD TELLING ME IT WAS TO CHECK COVERAGE? WHY HAS EVERY OTHER PROVIDER I HAVE EVER SEEN CHECKED MY COVERAGE BEFORE ORDERING BLOOD WORK?
Then, INSTEAD OF ASKING THE DOCTOR AND ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BLOOD WORK, MICHAEL calls and tells me «fine don’t get the blood work we’re just going to give you a referral to a gastroenterologist.» For what might I ask? Nope, don’t ask, cause MICHAEL IS not gonna tell you.
Needless to say after reading the other horror stories of office staff at this practice, I’ll be going elsewhere. Too bad really because the medical care I’ve had there is top notch.

The worst experience. A while back my practitioner Dr. Bhandari went to practice elsewhere, and I mistakenly stayed with My Health Medical group.
About two weeks ago my nail became infected (I will spare you the details), and I made an appointment with the after hours clinic. My finger had become swollen and extremely painful. As I chatted with the doctor he explained that I had paronychia. He wrote out a prescription for antibiotics, but after some thought, ripped it up saying that it wasn’t necessary. I could just apply some compresses and would be fine. A week later it got worse. When I called to make an appointment they said that they didn’t have anything available. Great. The medical assistant told me to just wait it out.
Another week goes by, so a day ago, My finger nail started to fall off. I called ONCE AGAIN, explained my situation to the medical assistant Michael. He did not seem phased by my predicament, and once again told me there weren’t any appointments. He was quite rude and not resourceful. I said to him that I should’ve gotten the prescription from the initial doctor, and he said that I shouldn’t have, that the doctor made the right call at the time and that it was through my activity, that made it worse. That makes total sense given that I have kept off of my hand and have been constantly washing my hands, etc. Finally I got an appointment for after hours to see what I do at this point for what I thought was next week. I called this morning to cancel my appt, since I found a doctor that is actually competent. Michael, not so kindly, told me that my appointment had been yesterday, I no-​showed, there was nothing he could do, and he didn’t know what to tell me. At this point, I understood that there was no point in trying to defend myself with this imbecile.

I had a minor medical problem (foot infection) manifest itself over the weekend, and the advice nurse I phoned Saturday night recommended that I not wait until Monday to see my regular doctor. My doctor’s on call suggested going to an urgent care facility, and recommended My Health Medical Group.
I called Sunday morning, and was quickly given an appointment. I found nearby street parking (there is also a garage available in the building), and was processed pretty quickly by the receptionist. Immediately after completing the paperwork, I was seen by Dr. Tessler, who was knowledgeable, efficient, and very nice, and took care of the problem.
She also took the time to review my prescriptions (available to her electronically, since she is part of Brown and Toland), and to correct the list (something my primary physician had apparently failed to do for a while).
If I need urgent care treatment again, I would not hesitate to return.

This review is for Amanda Kelly, FNP. She is one of the most attentive, thorough, and kind practitioners I’ve ever seen.
This office is open later hours than most, it’s relatively easy to make an appointment to come in same week, and the office itself is nice. The staff handling scheduling, checking in, and billing are not impressive at all, but it’s worth going here if you can get in with Amanda Kelly — she’s incredible!

They moved to a new office. Everything is big and fancy but the staff is so rude and uneducated, it just doesn’t match, it’s a big shock when you get to the office and everything is so glamorous and the receptionist yelling at you and insufficient in her job.
Waiting time is long, nobody updates you how much longer or that your doctor is running behind. It’s not the same feeling as in the old office, which was simple but with great staff and personal touch.

This review is only about Amanda Kelly, FNP. She is the most thorough, considered and carrying NP I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She is responsive and takes time out to adhere to my needs.
The receptionist is not the most friendly or responsive, but I think Amanda’s professionalism and friendliness makes up for it.

This place is great– fast service, in&out, cool lobby and easy to park. I’ll be going there next time I need any simple medical procedure (strep culture, prescription, etc.)
They should really post a picture of their trendy lobby.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Shore’s for probably 10+ years. I would give Dr. Shore himself 5 stars. I’ve had other MD’s in the past where the appt would last less than 5 min and I felt I never got a chance to explain my problem adequately and got little or no explanation for the condition I had. Dr. Shore, on the other hand, has always taken the time to listen and explains everything in lay terms. He’s really easy to talk to and is relateable. He doesn’t blow you off or dimiss you.
I even referred my mom to him after her previous PCP had difficulty controlling her BP. Even though he wasn’t taking on new patients at the time, he accepted my mom since she was a family member. After seeing Dr. Shore, my mom’s bp is finally under control (thank goodness!) and she is as happy as can be w/​his quality of care.
Diane his nurse/​assistant? has always been helpful and friendly. I’ve never seen any of the other associate MD’s, so I cannot really comment on them.
I’ve only been to the new office location once. It used to be at 3838 California, but the new location on 1700 California is not as convenient for me. It’s between Van Ness and Franklin and the traffic is worse and parking is more difficult and costly. The office itself is very modern and spacious. Given that, it is still worth it to deal with, as long as I get to see Dr. Shore

I wish I could give zero stars. I went there the day after I finished radiation and had about 20 blisters and red spots on my body and also complained of fever. Asked the Dr if it was chicken pox as my google searches made me think it was. She told me no, it was a skin infection and to take antibiotics. I wouldn’t be contagious after 24 hours. Wrong! According to my primary when I saw her Monday, she said it was a classic case. Sadly because of misdiagnosis, i passed them on to my husband and 9 month old daughter. If I had been correctly diagnosed, I would have gone to my parents until they were gone!
