Beth is amazing! Great to work with and is a true artist! My only complaint is that we wanted to buy all the photos she took! Thank you Beth for your great work!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Laura Kudritzki from Muse Studios and her awesome assistant Cody Rasmussen. They were absolutely amazing! Before getting into my dress Laura suggested that we do boudoir shots for Nick (my husband) and they were so much fun! She made me feel as if I was the most beautiful women in the world and I was at my big première photo shoot! The pictures came out lovely and Nick was pleasantly surprised when we viewed them for the first time.
Laura has a great eye for landscapes and scenery. Originally, Nick and I were going to me at an abandoned historic building, but Laura noticed the train tracks nearby and we meet there instead. I have to say the pictures turned out spectacular! They also did some shots at a golf course with an old tree and they were so gorgeous! I even staged a keg stand in my dress and they were there to capture the moment. It was so much fun!
Cody took some beautiful pictures of my jewelry and detail photos of the ceremony and reception. He also tested the lighting for the keg stand. Thanks Cody. ;) ;) He was always by Laura’s side and they worked so well as a team.
You would be so lucky to have them as your photographers for your wedding day! They know what they are doing; they are professional, and fun to work with!

Any place on 6^th street you visit will be an experience in itself. I had the pleasure of being a part of a fashion show (Love Sick 2) at Muse and it was interesting to say the least. A lovely gallery for showcasing photos, but hardly a venue for a fashion show with more than 1 designer. Kudos to DOGMA for bringing in such a huge crowd for this event, it was just unfortunate the gallery was too small to house everyone comfortably.

This review is for the actual space — not the photography service as I have never worked with them before. I went to a fashion show here last night (LoveSick — and lingerie show) and at first glance it seemed like a decent place for a show. Upon entereing though I could tell this was going to be an annoying night. There was a limited guest list which was a good thing considering the place couldnt’ hold very many people, and even though it didn’t seem like too many people for the overall space for this particular event it was way too many people. The runway was pathetic, only about 6 inches off the ground and no seating whatsoever so only about 50 people (and I’m being generous) could actually see the show. I am very tall and had heels on so I felt bad trying to stand in front because I knew I’d be blocking many others views, but I was pissed because I went to see my fiancé in his show and wasn’t able to see a damn thing. I could tell the majority of the audience was really annoyed. It was a $ 15 or $ 20 ticket to get in to watch the show and now you couldn’t even get what you paid for. It was extremely hot in the building and was just really uncomfortable. I think it was very poor decision on whoever organized the event to choose this location. I think for a gallery, or even just a party of any sort this space would be awesome! It’s minimalistic vibe was cool and I really liked the loft above where the DJ stand was. It’s got potential but the fashion industry folk were really not thinking when they set this up. So if I were actually able to review the event I would give it a 1 star — maybe a 2 star, but the space is great it just wasn’t utilized properly.

Nice size, nice artwork and good clean space. The staff was very nice and the space was perfect for our Poker Party. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a space for similar events as well.

Beth is amazing!!! I am difficult bride (I hate to be photographed) but she handled me beautifully. The photos she took were fabulous and ‘outside the box’ for a wedding. She is so talented, I feel so fortunate to have been able to work with her.

If you’ve gotten married you know that the special day goes by so fast and you wake up the next morning wishing you could do it all over again just so you can see all the things you missed.
Fortunately for us we had the MOST amazing photgrapher! When we went in to see the slide show of the photos it was like reliving the wedding all over again. It was so special and beautiful.
If you are here reading these reviews because you’re trying to find the perfect wedding photographer, I’m sure you can see by all the positive stories that Laura and Beth are an amazing team and are great at their craft.

I used to think a fabulous dress was the most important detail of my wedding. That was until I saw the photos from our wedding weekend. While I spent a glorious 2 days in my dress (see why below!), I have years and years to pour over, laugh, cry, and recall the many incredible moments in the wedding album. Beth Berman from Muse Studios is amazing; she captured the little details and moments of our wedding like the true artist that she is, and has designed an incredibly cool, yet timeless, album for us. I would recommend Beth to anyone.
We had a destination wedding in the Black Hills of South Dakota (!) and were a little reluctant to choose either of the two available local photographers. We didn’t want the pat «now we’ll have the groom’s family line up and grimace, then the cousins!» kind of photos. We wanted someone who’d capture my mom dancing to Abba like she thought no one was looking, the adorably confused looks on the flowergirls’ faces when they got lost on their way down the aisle, and the teardrops in my eyes just before they spilled over my cheeks. Enter Beth Berman! She was amazing at all of this! She moved in out of scenes, capturing close-​ups, the wedding party, entire panorama shots, etc. etc. Best of all, she’s great to work with. Her laid-​back and funny personality put everyone at ease – she even got several smiles out of my father, a.k.a. «Military Man» who takes pride in the fact that there is no known photograph of him smiling in the past 20 years. (He doesn’t dislike happiness, just pictures.)
But perhaps the most fun part of the entire weekend was the day after the wedding. My husband (!!) and I dressed again in our wedding attire — a great way to amortize the cost of a dress over two days, by the way – for our «trash the dress» photo shoot. Beth had scouted out spectacular places in the surrounding Black Hills, Badlands, and Mt Rushmore areas to take beautiful pictures with just the two of us. It was amazing. No stress, no worrying about getting my dress dirty, no guests watching our every move – I felt like a model. I had never heard of the «trash the dress» concept, but I am so glad I did it. For the small price of an extra night at the hotel and one more day of the rental car, we now have a picture of my groom and me standing 20 feet away from a grazing buffalo, in our wedding clothes, in the middle of a beautiful green prairie pasture. I love it.
Beth’s super easy to work with and I think her rates are more than fair for the art that she produces. I know she’s done weddings all over the country and even some in Mexico. Great to know that no matter where you’re planning the wedding, you can bring Beth with you. I gave her five stars, but I wish there were 6 to give. You should see this shot with the buffalo!

I can’t believe I am the first to write a review about Muse. Simply put, they are the best.
Beth is amazing. She is so much fun to work with! She is thorough, a great personality, and incredibly prepared. Unlike a lot of people who are in photography because they didn’t know what they wanted to do (which I found to be the case as we met with potential photographers), Beth actually has a degree in photography, and studied photography abroad in Italy (she’s also fluent in Italian — very cool!).
When she met with us to cover every aspect of the day, she came armed with printouts of the forecast, sunrise/​sunset times, and had backup locations in the event of bad weather. She had a script of what and how everything would run, where we would shoot what, and how long everything would take. I discovered this really puts a bride-​to-​be at ease, especially one that becomes increasingly neurotic as the day approached. Julia, if you are reading this, I love you, babe! :)
Another thing that can not be underscored enough — Beth has no problem taking control of the situation. When friends and family members wanted to take pictures of us, Beth politely but firmly instructed them all to wait for her to finish up first. If you think this isn’t a big deal, wait until you see some wedding albums where people are looking in five different directions. I guarantee you won’t see that in any of Muse’s work.
After we returned from our honeymoon, we were given an entire afternoon for an appointment for the wedding album. This was the only negative — because it was agonizing trying to pour over hundreds of gorgeous shots to decide what stayed and what had to sadly hit the cutting room floor.
I have yet to hear anyone say our album was «nice» or it was «pretty.» A sample of some of the feedback I have heard is: amazing, breathtaking, a work of art, beyond words, you look like models, she really captured your spirits on film, and I have never seen a more incredible wedding album.
This is your wedding — it is one of the most special days of your life. Choose wisely; I am so glad we did! 100% recommended without any reservations, and tell Beth and Laura I said hello!
