Description

Specialties

We are a group practice and so there is usually a dentist available 6 days per week.

Our practice subscribes to the philosophy of preventive dentistry. We encourage our patients to come regularly for exams and cleanings, and xrays «as needed.» Most of our treatment is therefore preventive, and fillings. When necessary we’ll perform root canal treatments and crowns or bridges.

History

Established in 1982.

Dr Weitz started in the Mission district in 1976 when first employed at the Mission Neighborhood Health Center. By 1982 he moved to Mission Street at the current location. The practice expanded and now there are three additional dentists: Dr CeciliaCardenas, Dr. Paul Glick, and Dr. Quant. Dr Luque worked for us in the past and has now located his own Oral Surgery specialty practice on Mission Street. Dr. Sonia Rahman Mendez worked for us from 2006 till 2014.

If you know our practice, you know that we place an emphasis on personalized service. We like you to see the same dentist each time you come. Our office location is easily accessible by BART, being on the same block as the 24th Street BART station, on by MUNI on Bus routes 48, 49, 14, 26 and 56. AND by bicycle too! We respect people’s schedules and really make an effort to stay on time, and not make our patient’s wait.
