Worst customer service I have ever had. I asked to change the battery of my watch. The owner was very mean. He does not know what the customer service is. Do NOT shop here!

This shop has been here for at least 30 years because I remember my mom shopping here frequently for pearl jewelry and handbags from the time I was 4 or 5. It’s not as busy or luxury looking as I remember it to be. It seems very quiet and there are a lot of items on sale. I worry that they may be on the verge of closing sometimes. I still love coming in to browse and every once in a while I’ll purchase something small like a pair of simple pearl earrings or stretchy gemstone bracelets. I’ve gotten my bracelets restrung here for a small fee and the shopkeeper is always polite. I drool over the beautiful opal jewelry selection — all out of my price range, but one day I hope I can own a ring or necklace one day. All the jewelry items my mom and I have purchased here are of good quality. I’ll continue to frequent this boutique for as long as they’re around.

It’s not like I’m asking for complimentary hot tea or anything. A simple «hello» would have sufficed.
It’s fine, Miseki, I bought the $ 6000 ring I was after elsewhere last week. No worries.

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. Owner is a complete ass!
My family was sitting outside the store at the provided tables and the owner demanded we move them as he thought people couldn’t walk by, even though there is a several foot gap and large groups of people were passing by. When I told him I would not move the table he actually tried to grab it and drag it away.
This guy actually said he was filing a complaint (with who??) on me… Laughable that you threaten to complain about a customer!
We have bought items from this store for 40 years and this is how we were treated. How do you think he will treat a tourist or first time shopper?
DO NOT SUPPORT BUSINESSES LIKE THIS!

I mainly come here to browse, but the bf was so sweet that he bought me a pearl necklace I’ve been eyeing all day. The necklace was very original – it converts to a shorter necklace and baracelet– but the pearls werent the finest of the bunch – not surprising since it was only $ 35. Still, finding nice accessories at that price is not bad at all. I’ll def. come back to buy some «cheap» «high end» jewelry.
What I really didnt like about this store is the lack of customer service. When asked if they offered free cleaning or repairs, the owner, an elderly man, just brushed it off with a «yea, yea.» He tossed in a normal standard business card and that was it. I was expecting at the very least a certificate of authentication or something. How would they know that I actually purchase my jewelry from them? Hm…
This place isnt a Mikimoto so dont expect much. They do have some high quality pearls, but you might as well get them from Mikimoto.

I almost settled on this most lovely and unique pearl with diamond-​studded butterfly ring… dainty, but large enough in display to be artful…
in fact, many of their pieces are original and creative, as I slowly perused the entire store. There is a clearance sale happening right now, and the prices seem to be bargain-​basement for the qualiity that they appear to be…
I spotted a gorgeous lapis necklace, full and rich in color, for less than $ 100…and also some mother of pearl pieces also in the $ 50 – 70 range.
If I came to Miseki, I think it would have to have a pearl in it, for I get a sense it’s what they know best. Located within the western portion of the Japantown mall… not the one housing Union Bank.
Customer service wasn’t the most attentive, and it’s either the casings that need some polishing, or the lighting inside the store… but there’s this din and wan casting over the jewelry inventory, which makes it difficult to shop seriously for genuine jewelry.

been several times with the wife more or less to browse only purchase a set of pearl earrings and a pearl ring maybe 4 years back but the same lady has been there as long as i can remember coming here since i was a kid, das hella long
it is bit pricey but they are helpful and the got lots to chose from stop by im sure they will help u with ur query.
