I had a last minute alteration and dry cleaning need and I decided to try this place. I needed a hem done and a jacket and sweater dry cleaned. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and I needed everything done by Tuesday afternoon. I was helped by a really nice woman. Initially she said it would be done on Wednesday, but she was able to have it for me on Tuesday. When I came in to pick up my clothes at 6:30 which I think is closing time, she remembered me and brought my clothes out before I could ask for them. She had a smile on her face when she said she was expecting me. That was a nice touch.

I have been using Mercury French for dry cleaning, laundering my husband’s work shirts and slacks, and alterations for over 10 years. The owners are very sweet and friendly. Cleaning is always completed on time and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend the wife’s skills when it comes to alterations and patching(my son’s pants have needed many a patch!)

The dynamic duo, husband and wife team who work out of a crowded store that looks like an old auntie’s living room are awesome! They are super nice and are smiling the moment they see you. The lady has an expert eye and was precise about measurements of the jeans I needed to be hemmed. I had 2 pairs of jeans hemmed $ 8 x 2 1 dress pants with double layers hemmed($ 15) and a dress jacket dry cleaned($ 3.50) Pick up in 3 days. This was the first time I took clothes to be dry cleaned and professionally hemmed. And I had a great experience with it. My jeans are now given new life and fit so much better on my tiny self. Mercury made them just for me! Tip: try your pants on at home and at least have a rough idea as to where you want to cut the pants… unless you want to awkwardly find a place to put the pants on in the store. Parking is really easy here in a quiet residential area! I park, I get in and get out.

Can we say lifesaver? I needed a last minute dry cleaning of my suit, but it wouldn’t be able to be done quite at the time I needed. However, he was able to press my suit and pants, to be ready the next morning. Very affordable. I had 3 pieces, a suit jacket, pencil skirt, and slacks, it was 7.50. I would totally have ironed them myself, but I didn’t want to mess them up and now was definitely not the time to screw them up! Thank you, thank you!

Ok I love coming here, and have literally kept it a secret… until now! Her prices are cheap, she does amazing alterations(even on stuff you would never expect to get fixed-like a thick canvas belt, for ex.) and she is super fast! She’s always smiling, and can pretty much get your items cleaned and/or fixed for whatever time/day ya want! Now go out and enjoy the awesomeness that is… Mercury French Cleaners.

Best place to take articles of clothing for alterations in the city. Extremely fast, decently priced, and friendly service. For example, shortening/hemming a pair of pants took about 2 days and only about $ 5(I believe it was $ 5). Highly recommended.

Neighborhood laundry and dry cleaners run by a nice old Chinese lady. The laundry and cleaning is standard and fine as far as my experience goes. I don’t remember anything remarkable about her rates so they must not be exorbitant. The are two reasons why she gets a 5 star rating from me: 1) She is a reliable seamstress! She will tell you when your work will be done, with a realistic date(usually several days, longer if you give her a bunch), and so far everything I have got back from her has been just fine. 2) She will stay open late for you! If you need to pick something up, she may offer to stay open a little late, till 7:30 or 8:00. Basically, awesome.
